Short Bio: A veteran, teammate of Miriko Ueno, Emi's mother.  The fate of Miriko has long been a mystery to team.  They never knew that one day, when alone Miriko had been ambushed and raped by Zorn, left with a child.  They knew something happened that day, but she did not want to talk about it and eventually disappeared, only leaving them a message she had something personal to take care of.  They searched for her, but have had no luck.  After so many years, fears have gnawed at them, but they remain hopeful they can find her.  They continue to show up at events like the conventions, hoping to either see her, or find someone that has some idea of what happened to her.

Miya is a serious woman, reaching the age of considering retirement.  She arrived as the sole representative of her team.  Keeping quiet during the introductions.  But, while she takes part in all of the fun, she has the teams usual mission.  But now there are new question.  The Emerald Sorceress has a new team.  Including a girl who has an eerie resemblance to an old friend.  Perhaps an old mystery can finally be resolved.  Perhaps one more battle awaits the veteran soldier.
