Music is their life and they can't just stop, but if they stop paying the music will just be in their head, playing eternally, and may drive them insane and doing the same thing to them it does to those who hear it. It seeps into much of what they do looking for an escape. It must be played in the same way the Zahir (If you've ever read that) must be looked at. Willpower helps extend the periods but there's no quite escaping the need and playing for people does help for a time. Shares it tho

I'm moving @AsBloodTurnsEverCold to Group 1. He's expressed interest in the original concept as I posted it I think he'll enjoy that group quite a bit. Game 1 is full up, now. I can't accommodate more than 6 players in 1 game. Group 2 is down to just 3 players now.

AsBloodTurnsEverCold is very accurate. I think you're overthinking it. Here's my recommendation: Start with what sound exciting for you to play. This is a new world, an original setting, and the only limits are what everyone else in Game 2 agrees to. I highly encourage original characters. Outline what you like in a character. Let us know what excites you. See how it fits with everyone elses' ideas. Obviously be willing to adapt your character ideas to the world and what others want, but start from a strong "this is what I want to play" position. Put all your cards on the table. For all you know, everyone says "cool, let's do that!"

I don't think having characters who might not be initially socially accepted would be too much of an issue...if anything the opposite. Its a social game essentially so the interplay between types could heighten the story with drama. I wouldn't overthink it just how much friction story wise are you willing to face. Sexuality seems baked in so I imagine Isabella would accommodate those situations as well as the people you are playing with and so far you do have @DreamsnThings interesting in playing Beastkin too and Saitai doesn't seem to oppose.

Legitimately the best roleplaying partner I've ever had! I will do my best to come up with an interesting ideas, and then EvanescentDream will run with it and turn even mundane scenarios into the most engaging and sensual dialouge I've ever seen. I constantly get interesting insights into what the character is thinking and I'm never dissapointed by a response. Disclaimer, response times can be quite long, but it is genuinely worth it to experience the heights of literature and creativity I can only dream of reaching. Oh, no no. I saw the above and its classes. Problem is not there. You do know that I even showed a cow girl (as example) before. Well, if you know me, you also know that I have a certain trouble with character making. (It's a curse that follows me even in games). As it is, I do feel like my usual style of characters may be a little too restrained or limited by very unlikely possibilities. Despite that, I know I was given ways to make things happen.
