As it is, the Death girl (coincidentally) sounds like a Pelintira of sorts. Not as cool as the great witch, though. I also want to make sure that the characters fit some of the settings. I go a little crazy because we have demons, aliens, etc. I figure that forms of magic not completely classic to standard magical girls would be fine. The truth is, I wanted to have Death at first but slowly, I am wondering if I should not give a lesser role to her. It’s a good question, one I thought about some today, but did not come up with a good answer. Have been rather flexible with the settling, for the most part allowing people to do what they want. I can see the argument both ways for whether or not the mother is actually death. As for the library, the goal really is to see whether or not they can find anything that will help Shinigami find acceptance, which may or may not include information about the mother. Or they could look for other help, if they want to try praying to Maxim. It’s not impossible they could some form of help or another from there. -
