I'm sure I am guilty but can't remember a specific incident. Between siblings, group homes, foster care, military, I'm sure I got blamed for at least one thing I didn't do and it was easier to just take the blame than fight about it. Not guilty. Though I've known someone who encouraged doing things like that from time to time. Her thinking was that by breaking small rules, we prepare ourselves to break bigger rules - because someday you're going to be expected to follow an unjust rule that will get someone hurt or killed. The next person has intentionally taken blame or punishment for somebody else.
