While humans and dragons are the only playable races here, dragons when taking human forms may present traits of beasts on them like ears and the like if those traits exist on their dragon form or even original animal form to some degree. Fortunately a dragon and dragonoid like that exists.

Try to keep starting magic ability a bit on the lower end for humans. What elements were you thinking of running with Good ol dual-classing. Also, with these contributions, I think I'll work on things like... seeing how advanced this world might be in some respects. I have some characters I have in mind myself: 1. A special, high-tier NPC that's an accumulation of Dragonstones that basically gains the form of an ammonite-like dragon. 2. A girl raised by a human-despising dragon. (Perhaps one could portray this dragon?) 3. A seafaring captain who seeks the dragons. Whether this character is a he or she is up for consideration. Some part of me wanted to make the ship a skyship but I actually wonder if I should or if I should let tech stay a bit lower/have skyfaring technology be an advancement that occurs within the RP itself.

For a healer, maybe an appropriately-themed relic, or a Dragonstone. For a Blacksmith/Tinkerer, go nuts. In such a setting I imagine technology of old is being reverse-engineered or reinvented.

Yeah, that's the idea. A young adventurer or swordsman could train under a dragon. In fact, I'm planning for a character adopted and raised by a dragon. Then it shall be. These powers will likely manifest as things akin to basic offensive spells at first, and for the most part, and some less offensive spells like healing or buffing. It is only at the most advanced of levels where they start to do some really broken stuff.

My idea is that they're hidden, but this could be a motivation, since there are some dragons that, while staying hidden, reach out to younglings to mentor them. The dragons believe that while few would believe the younger humans, plus the older ones would or may take action if alerted of their presence, they are open to lend a hand to the younger generation.

Well the original plan did have to do with it existing in our reality, be it the past or present. Such a future could help with explaining why Eastern-inspired and Western-inspired places are so closeby or at least more accessible than our places. ... I could insert some "grounded but fantastical elements" to hint towards this, like maybe at some point we managed to revive dinosaurs, they escaped, wrecked us and the ecosystem but in this post-ruination world they're basically like glorified bulls and have joined the dire wolves in being our generic enemies Maybe one of them knows Gigaflare. Things are fantastic on this day.

Still running through my options, but what are the general aesthetics of Knights? Was thinking of seeing if I could run with a Kamen Rider-based/themed character.

I'll go ahead and initiate stories in both areas then with the same character/s? Seeing how continuity is nothing between stories, I'll give her something of a different history between both. But uh... I guess I gotta ask what's at the Outpost. ... and I still need to make my second character. EDIT: While my Sanitarium idea has been posted in the Sanitarium, I'm thinking that for the Outpost, either both Rh'salk and her Shoggoth, or just the Shoggoth itself, could be frozen in ice before being successfully thawed, and from there hijinks ensue. If so, would the Shoggoth have been taking a different form while frozen? Or just be its amorphous form?

It's a fighting-game-based idea, right? And many fighting games aim to have a diverse cast in terms of fighting styles, things at their disposal and whatnot. So aim for that.

Keep it flexible, mostly. Was thinking of making a character that does random shit like Faust or Platinum.

I have an idea - perhaps Rh'salk could first appear in the Outpost trying to free a frozen shoggoth that goes berserk on the other characters Then in a next appearance she communes with some of the "insane" at the asylum to embrace their Deep One nature, and the more she does this, the more they metamorphize and gain the strength to break free.

I suppose I can set applications/ID templates up soon. I'll get to it when I have time. Look forward to your characters when I do, whatever they may be.
