She holds a natural lure of beauty that hides behind her wit and sometimes brash humor. She holds herself to a high standard and those around her to an even higher standard. Most nights she finds herself at work crafting the best martinis and mixed drinks in town. On her rare night off, she can be seen out at the wildest clubs with her friends. His father was a blacksmith and his mother an Innkeeper. His family held no status although his father’s blacksmithing supplied the kingdom’s military with weapons. One fateful night, Kota had picked a fight with one of the men in the knights brigade who were staying at his mother’s inn. A fight broke out and somehow, against the odds, Kota had won against one of the more revered knights. Impressed, they offered him to train with them. He rose through the ranks and eventually would lead his men into war to win countless battles. Kota is well respected amongst the royals and village people alike despite his unapproachable presence. His knowledge of war tactics and strategies is unmatched, pinning him as one of the most valuable assets Iceveil has to claim. Kota is usually seen with a scowl on his sharp features. His broad shoulders taper to a fit waist and strong legs. He carries an attitude of indifference with him that quiets any room he enters. He was invited to apply to the local squad once he graduated and from there, he grew in ranks to be one of the sharpest detectives in the New York state. Kota is seen with a cigarette on most days with a look of exhaustion clouding his sharp features. Occasionally, she will morph into her human form when the perfect conditions exist to find herself in a tavern, feasting upon men who stumble from the lanterns light. She is known to be elusive and intelligent but still curious of humankind and their traditions. Nyx was born a Siren daughter of the Muses of Great Greek legends nearly a century ago. When she was first born, her clan spanned nearly every ocean. Over time however, mortal men had heard of the myths of beautiful women with a fatal song. Men's greedy nature to possess overcame Nyx's clan one stormy night. Nearly all of her family was captured in a ship when she was far too young to protect anyone, hardly even herself. Before her clan was eradicated to be gawked at, sold for entertainment or eaten, she was gifted her transformation and water whispering powers from her clan's Seer. Nyx has the ability to transform into a full human at will, although it takes a lot of energy to maintain the form. Her water manipulation powers come much easier, it's a power much like breathing. Nyx's jet black hair is a stark contrast to her porcelain skin that has a grey undertone. She has emerald eyes that hold a wild animal's gleam, thick dark lashes and pupils that dilate and contract based on her mood. She has full lips covering sharp fangs and a long pointed tongue. There are small gills on her ribs to help her breathe under water. When in siren form, her tail is long and powerful. Her tail is covered in dark blue and purple iridescent scales that stop at her hips with a few scales peppering her waist. The fin at the end of her tail is long and wispy. Her entire body is cold including her mouth and breath. Nyx's voice is haunting yet sinful, and has been known to reverberate in humans skulls like a distorted lullaby.
