  1. Could only vote for one thing but I’m down for Fire or cultural exchange. But obviously cool with whatever wins.
  2. He accepted her embrace wholeheartedly, and she moaned as his tongue wrestled with her own. The twisting and caressing of each muscle sending exciting notes of pleasure straight to her core. How long had it been since she was with a man? And not just any man. The strength, character and the vulnerability he showed was far more impressive than much of what she’d ever witnessed in her life. She could see that there were stories in every scar and she could taste the pain laced in every sigh from his lips. But there was joy there and pleasure too. At least she could bring more of that to him. If only for one night. The possessive, greedy yet playful way he grabbed her ass and squeezed, made her giggle and his intention was clear. Thigh thighs happily wrapped around his waist, eager to be transported wherever her captain preferred. The cool table only amplified the rising temperature between them and Miranda sat back and drank in Draven’s pant removal eagerly. The reveal was not disappointing in the slightest and she squirmed in place, growing wetter at the promising prospect of his size and girth. She bit her lip, only to be coaxed into another lusty liplock. Feeling his member rubbing against her thigh. She broke away slowly, sending him a wink as she removed her camisole and exposed her ample breasts. “You do the rest,” she whispered, laying back on the table, with a cat-like ease and grace. Her legs parted and lifted slightly to ease the removal of her panties.
  3. I will try to get to my replies this week.
  4. @Mysthero Just focus on you. You’re dealing with a lot. Just remember you have friends here should you need to reach out. 🩷
  5. Yeah sorry I’ve been busy guys.
  6. It was rather comforting how casual he was. Easy. He had a way of saying and doing things with a certain lightness that juxtaposed with his sturdy frame. It made Ivy feel comfortable. Like it was okay to just sit here and rest. Not to mention that the way he spoke was different too. Sure, he could be blunt and even gruff, but there was kindness in his tone most of the time. And occasionally he was quite flirtatious. She never thought she’d witness so many shades of a personality in a single afternoon. It left her curious and wanting to see more. Intrigued by his story, Ivy settled into his lap more closely tucked into his chest. Idly reaching for a piece of fruit which she bit into with relish. The juice dribbling down her chin. Emerald eyes twinkled with interest, and a slow smile formed as she started to recognize elements of the story. “Me? Persephone?” Ivy echoed, extremely flattered and more than mildly surprised. “You are a very smooth,” she quipped, lightly pecking his cheek. She wondered if in his little story, he was meant to be the god of the underworld. A bold declaration to be sure, but that seemed to be his style. “I can only hope that I’m able to do those things. Who knew you’d use your tongue as well as you do with your hands,” she praised, sliding from his lap. “Perhaps now is a good time for that aloe treatment? If we wait too long it won’t be nearly as effective,” she pointed out.
  7. “Would you really want a wife?!” Ivy blurted out without thinking, blushing furiously as she shrank in his lap. “Uh, I mean….er….” She cleared her throat, and shifted again, looking up into his eyes. “I guess I never pegged you as the type. But I’m starting to learn more and more about you. You sir, are full of surprises,” she complimented. “And you know what? I think I sort of understand where you’re coming from with the whole nickname thing. Although I don’t think I can count on myself being as consistently creative as you seem to be,” Dr. Bloom added chuckling. Hopefully glossing over her earlier faux pas. She seemed to be doing that a lot when she was around him. Luckily he was taken it all in stride. When the attention got turned back around to her, she blinked, “I didn’t think you were talking too much,” she reassured, subconsciously leaning into him. “And while I wasn’t trying to leave Earth behind, I was eager to do something that mattered, if that makes sense? As a botanist, breakthroughs are few and far between even amongst the most brilliant scientists. I’ve had my share of achievements but nothing has ever felt….groundbreaking. Plus I come from a pretty pampered lifestyle and I’ve hardly had any real sense of adventure. And I never really get to interact with new people so, well, this felt like a win/win!” She said in a bright cheery voice. “This is my chance to make a difference in the world. Make new discoveries both in botany and in personal terms as well.”
  8. Was she really about to sleep with Captain Draven? By all accounts this could seem hasty and ill advised. But it wasn’t like she didn’t know him in a sense. Unlike probably most of the others on board, she’d read through almost everyone’s files. Namely anyone she’d be cooking for, as it helped to know people’s cultures and backgrounds in order to make dishes they’d love. It was part of what made Mirage such a great cook. There was so much care, respect and attention put into every meal and her personal approach is what separated her from the pack. So yes, she knew of him, at least the details included in his profile and of course the impression he made this morning had been telling. Miranda could readily understand what kind of man he was based off the way he spoke and his mannerisms alone. And then tonight…firstly, there was his appearance. Sure, he was handsome, anyone could see that and she was a sucker for eyes like his. But who was she kidding, her eyes had been glued to his muscular body. And he was here shirtless and the late night in the quiet of the ship felt….intimate. But when he revealed the details about his late wife, she knew she was goner. The sensitivity and the hidden depths of this man had her itching to sink her teeth in him. It was a raw desire, coupled with her own reasons for not being able to sleep. And if she could offer him some comfort was that really wrong? All moral quandary ended with his lips on her neck. Miranda melted into his arms, a soft sigh tumbling from her mouth as she leaned her head, exposing more of her neck for his lips to caress. She hummed contently, her hand sweeping up his back to rake her fingers through the soft hair at his nape. Affectionately she coaxed him away from her throat, seeking to capture his mouth with her own. Tugging on his hair and meeting his gaze with a sexy smirk before leaning forward and planting her lips on his. Both arms circling around his neck as she crushed her soft curves up against the hard planes of his chest. Playfully she nipped at his lips, her tongue teasingly tracing his bottom lip before seeking entry. Not forcefully, but her interest was evident.
  9. When I tell you that I LOVE the Exploring Bridge story so far! @Mysthero and @Chiyako are so great! I didn’t expect to laugh this much plus it’s so sweet too!
  10. That’s great to hear, but remember no hard feelings if things are delayed for a bit. I’m sure everyone understands! 🩷
  11. “Well no, I didn’t exactly mean it that way…..wait, is this a date?” Ivy stammers, feeling her face heat up at being teased so much. She really was only thinking about his health. She knew how sensitive skin could be and she only wanted to help him as a thank you for all of his hard work. But hearing him call it a date two times in a row was certainly throwing her for a loop. But she didn’t necessarily oppose to it either. She just didn’t want Lucky thinking this had been her goal all along. Although she wondered if he even cared at this point. As if answering her, Lucky simply grabs her and plants her in his lap as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Ivy was stuck, should she scramble off his lap? But that would seem rather rude, right? She shifted uncomfortably for a second, but eventually decided that it must be okay if he put her there himself. Silently she reached for her water, watching warily as he drank and picked up a piece of fruit. He started to call her out on what happened earlier. Seems he noticed that she hadn’t been satisfied with his answer and was dying to know more about his past. But she didn’t think he’d be such an open book. “Well….only if you really don’t mind? And of course, I’ll answer anything you’d like. Umm, well, can I know why you won’t call people by their names? Like, I get not using your own for whatever reason but everyone else…?”
  12. Yup, he was definitely charming. Not only had he fixed the problem but he also took preventive measures against it ever happening again. Dr. Ivy couldn’t help but to give him a thousand watt smile, beaming up at him as if he hung the moon himself. “You are incredible. Thank you so much for your help. You just saved this ship a lot of hassle, which I’m sure you know.” At his suggestion of a picnic she nodded, “Actually I know the perfect spot, there’s a grassy patch that’s perfect for us.” Leading the way, she set the tray of drinks and fruit down first and then sat down herself. Even without him saying so, it did sort of feel like she was on a date. However he was just doing his job and she was just being a gracious host in her lab. Still….it wasn’t easy to deny the appearance of it all not to mention her own attraction and if she wasn’t mistaken Lucky liked what he was seeing too. Unless he was this flirtatious with everyone. “And look, there’s some aloe Vera nearby. I could rub some on your skin for you to relieve the heat. You’re looking a little toasty and you could wind up with heat rash if you’re not careful…”
  13. There was a lot more to unwrap with this hunky engineer, that was for sure. She wanted desperately to ask him more about the names thing, but his dismissal of the topic made her hold her tongue. No need to bring down the mood. Plus they weren’t that well acquainted and she’d hate to upset any of her colleagues. So instead she went on her way to the kitchen, got some ice cold water and fruit for them both. “I’m back!” She announced as she re-entered the garden. She could see Lucky working away in the pod. “So what’s the verdict?” She asked, “and maybe you should step out of the pod for a second? I don’t want you to pass out from the heat or something.”
  14. Aww man that sucks. But I’m with everyone here, things happen and we all understand! Sending positive vibes your way! 🩷
  15. There was something about a hardworking man with glistening muscles that made any woman’s knees weak. And without the climate regulator functioning it was getting pretty hot in the pod. The other strap on her overalls started to droop and her cropped shirt was getting even more sheer now that she was sweating so much. Sighing she pulled her hair up into a high ponytail to keep most of it off her neck. Her mood deflated slightly when he mentioned she’d forgotten a part and she pouted, “Aww darn, I thought I brought everything back…. And it’s Ivy, you know that right?” She said, just in case he wasn’t merely teasing with all of these nicknames. But just as quickly she was smiling again, a mischievous expression on her face. “Hmmm, okay, I’ll be right back with that A-142-Thermal, Felicity,” she stressed, figuring two could play at that game. At this, she skipped happily out of the extremely warm pod and began frantically searching for the correct part, not wanting to hold up on any of his progress. She came back just as fast, flustered, but still beaming. “How about I go fetch us both some cool drinks while you work? I can’t let you work under these conditions without offering a little relief.”
  16. Ah, yes, of course he’d be familiar with the torch flower. Although Dr. Bloom hadn’t expected this much recognition and respect from him. Not that she didn’t think he was capable of it, but most people praised the results of the flowers, not the flowers themselves. They were thankful for the fruits of the labor, but not the seed that bore it. Lucky was different though, in many ways it seemed. She frowned slightly at him turning down her offer of the gloves, but when she saw his pair she understood his reasoning. Plus, she was far more impressed by his knowledge of various plants and the obvious respect for them. Frankly she found it made her strangely hot under the collar…. Or was that just the torch flower’s doing? Her mouth dried slightly when he began to shed off his jacket and shirt, prepping himself to work in this heat. He was very fit, and the scars that littered his skin made him seem even more rugged and handsome. She was biting her lip, and questioning the tightness in her belly when his sudden outburst jolted her back to the task at hand. “Oh wow, I’m glad I spotted this early! We could have had a disaster on our hands! And thank you so much Lucky! I’m happy we have someone so clearly competent on our shift,” Ivy beamed at him. She patiently listened as he rattled off a list of items he would need, carefully committing them each to memory. “….769 hydro detector, a solar sim 485, and wires 4 conductor and 6 conductor…..” she muttered to herself. “I’m on it!” She declared, scampering off to her lab to do just as he asked. It was a quick enough search and everything was blessedly organized and labeled so she brought back each item confidently. “Okay, here we are. Everything requested. Do you need anything else or should I get out of your hair?”
  17. Despite his rough appearance, Dr. Bloom noticed that Lucky could be rather gentlemanly in his manner. The careful way he held hee waist during their short ride in the vent was evidence of that fact. Ivy passed his goggles back to him, and waved gif him to follow her. “It’s this one over here. The one for the torch flowers. They’re temperamental plants, you have to keep their climate just so but the rewards….” She motioned to a fully grown torch flower with flaming petals. “When we harvest this it can be synthesized into thermal energy, or material. Very useful and very important.” She fished out a pair of thick gloves. “I’d suggest you wear these or some sort of protective gear. Not all flowers are delicate and these burn you,” Ivy warned. “They also make the pod very hot,” she added fanning herself lightly. Unfortunately the way each pod was designed, he had to fix it from the inside. She pointed to the faulty Climate Control system panel and he would readily see the glitching numbers on the screen and an exposed jumble of wires and cables and some leftover tools on the ground. Evidence of her own poor attempts at fixing it. “So, think you can help?”
  18. He did know her name was Ivy….right? She thought to herself mildly concerned but she figured it was another nickname. At least he had good taste in plants so far. Plus she was far too shocked and impressed by him picking her up like it was nothing. A vent? Oh, she didn’t know anyone actually used those things. They were so…..small. And that was saying something coming from her. Obediently she put on the goggles, gasping slightly when she realized just how tight of a fit traveling together in the vent would be. “Ready,” Dr. Bloom answered determinedly, placing her hands on his firm chest since there was really no where else to put them. When they landed in the garden she breathed a sigh of relief, and tried to begin to difficult task of peeling herself off of him. Her squirming didn’t seem to be helping much.
  19. In efforts to make her report to Captain Azure, Ivy had finally taken stock of the state of the hydroponic garden. Well, after a surprisingly fun, but brief detour in the med bay. She certainly felt…loose after that examination and hopefully her braless state wouldn’t cause too much trouble with the other crew. Sighing, the short, green haired doctor walked quickly towards Engineering, slightly sweaty and certainly distressed. After a few unsuccessful attempts at fixing the Climate Control System pod, an automated system that regulate temperature, humidity, and airflow within the garden to create the ideal growing environment—she feared she had done more harm than good. ”Lucky?! Lucky?! Please I need your help!” Ivy shouted exasperatedly. She looked quite disheveled at this point. Her usual silky curls were frizzing slightly and one wayward strap on her overalls drooped on her shoulder, revealing half of her nearly see-through and dangerously cropped t-shirt. And her frantic bouncing only increased the likelihood of a wardrobe malfunction. “Here, one of the climate pods are on the fritz. I had to move a few crops but that’s a temporary solution at best. Please tell me you can help.”
  20. Hey gang, just fyi our captain won’t be posting until late tonight, but I am thinking he may be too tired to post at all today. Just a heads up, as you were.
  21. Omg can’t wait to get home so I can read the shenanigans
  22. Stupid mug! Every time she thought she had a good grip on it, it rolled away a little further. Hence why she was bent over longer than necessary. And by now she realized that her captain was getting an eyeful. But once she finally got a hold of the mug, and she slowly started to stand up straight, she felt. At first Mirage thought she was mistaken, but his apology confirmed it and it sent a warm flush through her body. “Ohhh,” she gasped softly, eyes flirting over to the man who had turned his body away, obviously embarrassed. “It’s quite alright,” she soothed, placing a hand on his back and boldly pressing herself close. “I uh….well I imagine it’s only natural after everything you’ve told me. And well you know, there’s some things that a tart simply can’t solve,” she practically purred, waiting with bated breath to see what he’d do next.
  23. Just when she thought she was an unwanted nuisance, the captain’s words interrupted her melancholy thoughts. He wanted to share? Miranda tried in vain to fight the smile forming on her lips. “Okay, I suppose one slice couldn’t hurt….” She said softly. She watched him set a place for two, her eyes glued to his frame. It was difficult to separate her genuine concern from the lust that threatened the longer she looked at him. Even without being in cryo sleep for five years it had been a very long time since…..well….anything. And that tender smile he just gave her didn’t help her resolve. He was far too handsome. And since when was he standing so close?! Miranda was standing like a statue now, far too consumed with watching him than actually making the tea. This was punctuated by the fact that he was the one doing most of the work. Helping by putting a kettle of water on to boil and he pushed past her briefly to retrieve the actual tea leaves and a tea infuser and began to fill the infuser with chamomile. “What? Oh uh, yes, I was so excited to see that it was all fresh. Call me a snob, but fresh is better than anything else any day.” This was said somewhat distractedly as she leaned, unknowingly closer to him. The scent of bourbon and maple mingled nicely with the aroma of the tart as it baked. “Delicious,” she whispered breathily, as she fantasized about a rather different scenario from what was happening. “Er, I mean the tart—-the tart smells delicious,” Miranda covered, jerking and knocking over her empty mug which blessedly hadn’t shattered. Now she was definitely feeling incredibly less like her usually collected self. “Goodness me, my mind is…elsewhere…” she confessed, bending over to fetch her cup and unknowingly giving him quite the show with her barely there clothes.
  24. Hey guys, Ivy recommends getting a check up pronto. Dr. Sonja is strange but sweet and gives out compliments! 10/10
  25. “Oh good! Honestly bras are so constricting but unfortunately they are necessary most often than not,” Ivy murmured. Grinning she peeled off her bra, and then put on her shirt again. Her nipples were fairly visible but once she pulled her overalls up no one would be able to see them. “Oh wow, I hadn’t realized how thin and see through this shirt was. And it’s a bit more cropped than I remember,” she said, pointing out her underboob and the almost sheer cotton shirt. She finally pulled up her overalls, and fussed with her hair a bit, checking the mirror to make sure she was presentable. “Okay, I’ll finally get out of your hair. Like I said, come by my lab and visit me when you can, okay Sonja?”
