Medical check up
Harmony Frost replied to onearmeddruid's topic in Starfinder's Living Quarters / Med Bay
“Ohhhh hahaha, you’re so sweet Sonja!” Ivy gushed, exuberantly pulling the woman into a tight hug. Their chests smashed together and Ivy swayed slightly in the embrace. Unbeknownst to her, the action had made her darn bra snap open again but she didn’t notice right away. “Thank you! And here I thought I’d done something wrong. I think we’re going to be fast friends especially if you keep complimenting me,” she giggled. “Anyways don’t be nervous. I’m just Ivy. Plus we’re probably going to be seeing a lot of each other. I’m kind of a klutz,” she admitted, pulling back and rubbing the back of her head as she laughed nervously. “Oh darn! This stupid bra just won’t stay on! What do you think? Should I just go without? You don’t think I’ll offend anyone do you?” -

“Smaller isn’t a bad thing and honey, I think you ought to take a closer look because I don’t think they’re that much smaller at all,” Ivy pointed out. She started to pull on her cropped shirt when she noticed the doctor stammering again. “Hey, is there something about me that makes you nervous?” She questioned, head tilting to the side slightly. She took a step forward, placing a hand on Sonja’s shoulder, her emerald eyes clouding with concern. “I felt like we were getting closer, you know? But you started acting strange towards the end of the examination. You can tell me.” -

Ivy giggled, not expecting the doctor to voice such commentary out loud. She was a strange woman. “Well yours are a quite a nice size as well,” she remarked, grinning. Her laughter seemed to disrupt Sonja’s hold and the clasp popped open again. “Oops,” she whispered, giggling even more. She took a deep breath, trying to keep still so it could be closed again, but it was difficult. “I appreciate the help, again.” -

“Thanks again for the check up. I do feel better now after having you look over my body,” she said with a bright smile. She started putting her clothes back on, bouncing and shimmying to pull her clothes up over her curvy hips. “Maybe you could come by the greenhouse sometime and I’ll show you around? I imagine you might want to take a look at some of the medicinal plants we grow,” Ivy offered. “I should be free later today after I’ve taken care of the captains orders.” She paused as she struggled to put on her bra and sighed, turning back to Sonja, “Um, do you mind giving me a hand? It’s a front clasp but from my perspective it’s hard to see,” she laughed making her large breasts wobble. -

Ivy beamed as the doctor leaned into her as she massaged her temples. She was no physician but she always wanted to help others any way she could and that applied doubly so for her teammates. “There we go,” she soothed, “Much better I assume?” She asked, pulling back slightly to observe the woman’s face. “I think we’re all set here but if you ever need me to do that again, just come find me.” Here she smiled brightly and gave Sonja a friendly peck on the cheek. “I suppose we’re all done here, yes?” -
Maybe both the doctor and the engineer have to work together? That could be fun. Thanks for explaining more about Warning. Knowing that she’s socially awkward makes sense.

I personally think SRK is a pretty interesting character and she’s meant to be a ball of fun right? As well as capable of feeling and understanding pleasure? And as much as she is an AI it seems to have a lot of humanoid and animalistic traits. It could be interesting to explore more of that in her characterization….. Perhaps once she interacts more and more with the crew, she isn’t as perfect or sharp. Maybe she gets distracted or too involved with something other than her normal functioning? AI isn’t perfect and as it has been explained before on this ship in particular, there’s a hokey even pseudo science feel to some degree. It’s all very retro, despite being new aged tech. If that makes sense. So I think playing around with that concept might be fun. I tend to think about Guardians of the Galaxy a bit, if you’re familiar with that franchise.

Medical check up
Harmony Frost replied to onearmeddruid's topic in Starfinder's Living Quarters / Med Bay
Wait, did she just….call her beautiful? Ivy felt her whole body flush and she almost didn’t even register the questions the doctor was asking. “Well the amount of study it takes for one….and then the moment you realize that nothing will ever compare to the real world experience you get in the field,” she pointed out. But when she was met with the doctor’s silence she grew concerned. Ivy shifted again, turning around to face the doctor and seeing said woman with her hand to her head. “Oh! Are you alright?” She asked, leaning forward to place her hand on the woman’s temple. “Massaging them might help. It soothes the pounding nerves,” she explained although she supposed she didn’t need to. Gently she nudged the other woman’s hand aside and gently applied pressure to either side of her head, her fingers moving slowly in a circular motion. Ivy had quite forgotten all about her nudity at this point. -

“Y-Yes!” Ivy gasps, blushing at the outburst but she wasn’t prepared for the doctor’s finger to go there. It was rather snug, but she figured it was probably necessary and as long as the doctor didn’t poke there too much she would be fine. “Um yes. The human body is extremely fascinating and complex just like plants. Sensitive too. And it requires great attention to detail. I think there’s plenty of similarities between our fields, don’t you?” -

“Like this?” Ivy asks, trying not to sound too smug as she parts her legs a little further than shoulder width apart. The fact that the almost eager, mad doctor has transformed into this blushing and stammering woman is highly amusing. “You know I’ve always been pretty fascinated with anatomy myself. I think, if I didn’t have such a natural affinity with plants, I would have been a medic myself,” Ivy adds, hoping to ease the tension with a little casual chitchat. That was her specialty after all. She was such a naturally kind and social person that she always tried to ease people’s worries and discomfort. After all, as comfortable as she may be naked, she didn’t want to be on display like this forever. -

The stammering was sort of cute and Ivy grinned, winking at Dr. Sonja as she got up from the chair and bent over, using it for balance. “Legs spread or..?” She questioned, relaxing now that things were moving forward in a much more normal fashion. Even though it was still a rather vulnerable position, she trusted the doctor to put her in the proper position for the examination. -

“Oh dear.” Out of the frying pan and into the fire. That snap of the glove was definitely signifying something….invasive. But at least she’d put Sonja off on doing something drastic. And did she detect a few blushes? She supposed her little dance was a bit much. Especially considering that she was nude. But Ivy wasn’t the type to mind that too much. She wasn’t an exhibitionist or anything but she felt comfortable in her skin and sometimes being nude in her garden was a guilty pleasure of hers. One that Ivy kept close to her chest of course. She could only imagine what people would think if they knew, -

More tools come out and Ivy is growing more and more confused and the more confused she gets, the more concerned she gets about her own safety and the sanity of this medic. It’s only when Sonja finishes placing the markers for where to cut that it all clicks for Dr. Ivy. “Whoa, whoa, whoa!” She halts, one hand out the other smashing her breasts into her chest. “Dr. Sonja, I hardly think any of this is appropriate for me. I’m just the botanist! I don’t need any enhancements or adjustments. I’m perfectly fine! See?!” This time she stands up from the chair, and does a spin for the doctor. And when the woman doesn’t seem wholly convinced she does a little dance, wriggling her hips and bouncing a jig, her tits jiggling tantalizingly as she demonstrated her range of motion and healthy physique. “There, and I’m not even a bit out of breath!” She added brightly, taking Sonja’s hand and laying it on her chest. “Think we can get back to a regular examination now?” -

Okay….so this inspection was certainly nothing like she remembered having in the past…… Ivy squirmed in place, trying and failing to figure out the purpose of each action this woman was taking. She gasped at the cut the woman gave her but seeing it heal without even a trace of a scar shut her up. But still, she was starting to feel as if this particular medic was far too unorthodox for her liking. As if to confirm this, Dr. Sonja planted her face in her bosom, rubbing her cheeks to her chest. “Uhhh….is this really ne-necessary?” Dr. Bloom questioned in a shaky voice. “I just came for a standard check up.” Emphasis on the word, standard, she thought to herself, frowning as she glanced up at the woman warily. “S-ss-so we should be just about done right?” -

Admittedly it was a little embarrassing to be so closely examined and when the medic started poking at her private part Ivy felt her face grow warm. Still, she followed instructions obediently, allowing the woman to lead her to a chair where she sat down rigidly. -

The simple instruction to strip was a little jarring but Ivy barely hesitated to follow the medical officer’s orders. Some of her words were lost on Ivy but she just shrugged and took off her clothes, idly wondering if she was meant to be fully naked or just in her underwear. Perhaps she ought to go full nude to be safe. Besides it must be pretty standard if Sonja was being so cheerful and humming right now. Ivy shimmied out of her overalls and crop top. Her large breasts bouncing into view. She swept her long green hair to the side as she peeled off her bra and lastly she tugged down her panties, placing all of her discarded clothing in a neat pile. “I feel totally fine but I thought it was smart to come here anyway and have a proper looking over, you know?” -

Normally she’d be in her lab by now, or in the garden but no, Ivy knew that the surest way to stay on top of things was to get the least desirable tasks out of the way first. Namely that was doing her check up with the team medic. Honestly she felt fine, but she supposed it was better safe than sorry. She managed to find the room with little difficulty and she stood awkwardly in the doorway, not exactly sure what to expect. “Uh….Dr. Sonja…? It’s not too soon for check ups is it?” She asked, wondering if maybe in true Ivy Bloom fashion she’d jumped the gun and arrived here before everything was ready. -
New thread I think
-
Yup! @Chiyako and sure thing! @onearmeddruid
-
@Warning Well I thought we hit a pause/conclusion to the main story because the captain kinda sent us all on our way but if people are wanting me to add on to that thread I will. Outside of that we are all free to create our own stories about being on the ship!
-
@onearmeddruid is the checkup open for anyone? I feel like Ivy might do a detour to get check up before her duties….

Nothing I was just joking

Feels like these “checks” have ulterior motives…..

The Kitchen Scandal!
Harmony Frost replied to Mysthero's topic in Starfinder's Kitchen/Galley/Hydroponics
When he completely abandoned the tart making in favor of cleaning up the mess he’d made, it dawned on Miranda that she might’ve overstepped in multiple ways. She didn’t even think twice about assisting him, or touching him. He must’ve been uncomfortable with her acting so familiar, especially in their state of dress. Or under dress really. She cringed guiltily, not missing how he’d pretty much ignored her words altogether. Damn it, she hadn’t meant to offend him. He was probably the most sane person on the whole team and she’d alienated him with her behavior. Perhaps the subconscious longing for human connection had overshadowed her ability to show restraint and now she’d upset the man. He seemed distracted almost. And as he confessed to his lack of sleep and also alluded to having nightmares she felt even more guilty for acting like she knew him. Assuming a level of comraderie that wasn’t earned. Part of it was due to finding him rather handsome but in light of his revelation about his late wife (who he was clearly still attached to and rightfully so) well, she felt so icky. She just wanted to leave but leaving before the tart was finished felt even more rude. At least he was smiling, it was wrong, she knew, but she felt almost envious of his late wife. She never had anyone who loved her enough to think of her so tenderly. She could practically see the love radiating from her captain. “Ah, I see. She sounds like a very wise and lovely woman. I’m sorry for your loss,” Miranda said softly and solemnly. “Let’s hope this tart comes out a lot better then,” she added, assembling the tart. First the crust, the filling, and then the thinly sliced apples which she arranged to look like little roses. And finally a glaze. She popped it in the oven and set the timer. “Well, I guess I should leave you to it then? I hadn’t meant to disturb your ritual. I really only came to make myself some tea. Chamomile is good for sleeping,” she explained. Once again she was determined to fade away, hoping he’d forgive her for intruding. She silently grabbed a mug and started preparing her tea, grateful that it wouldn’t take too long for the water to heat up. And then she could leave without causing any further damage. -
One advantage of her tendency to fade into the background was her ability to unobtrusively lurk during the meeting. Quietly speaking to those who had yet to partake from the breakfast offerings and insisting that they eat something. She knew the captain would not mind and as she gazed at this motley crew she could imagine the likelihood of everyone quickly becoming occupied with their own affairs and agendas and completely neglecting their health. While she was not the ship’s physician, Miranda was not ignorant of the importance of fueling one’s body through food. In fact, it was an extremely important aspect of her job to see to the dietary and nutritional needs of everyone onboard. So she pushed her cart around the table, nudging people gently and gesturing towards her wares, her smile warm but firm. There was no turning her down and she didn’t move on until everyone had something to eat. However minimal it may be. She couldn’t help but give a faint sniff of approval when the captain demanded respect for the Luanarian joining their team and undoubtedly this carried over to all ‘others’ a part of their team. It was important not to jeopardize our relationship with these beings and frankly Miranda personally found Xyvee ridiculously cute and she couldn’t wait to get to know her better. Same with the rest of the crew! —————————::::::::::::::::————————- Dr. Bloom squirmed in her seat, taking in the interactions between the others. Grateful for the small distraction when Miranda came around to make sure everyone had eaten. She accepted a refill to her tea, surprised that she’d guzzled a cup down already. But perhaps that was due to being nearly overwhelmed by how interesting everyone was. The clash of personalities was nice to see, if she had gone into more human studies instead of plants, this would be fertile ground for a social experiment. But ah, there she went thinking about soil again! When the captain asked if there were any more questions she shook her head, bouncing her leg impatiently as the call to her lab was increasing over time. Could they just get to the day’s work already?!
