Reigniting the Pits of Hell
Warning replied to SataiRolePlayingGuy's topic in A World of Magic(al Girls)'s Story Topics
Among the forces, a dark skinned and furred beast girl roamed lazily. She did not seem the kind to train or use a weapon, even. She just observed with a silly smile, looking a little too happy for no clear reasons. Where exactly she came from was not clear either but she probably was known at least by name or look by many. In fact, she had no name but proudly wore what specie she was. This is how special she was. And that name did not come without a value. Hellhound was a powerful creature yet she did not really give a first impression of power with her relaxed and playful step yet those who knew her knew. At least she was not teasing nor taunting anyone, rather she was wandering. One could say that she was fearless or brave... Or stupid in the face of stronger beings. Still, her strength made up for her recklessness. She was not one that just anyone should underestimate. As it was now, however, Hellhound looked like she just had woken up not long ago and thankfully, she was not looking too grumpy, if not hungry. It was hard to say if she was looking for food or something else but she looked like she was enjoying just being there, watching, not disrupting anyone or anything as she moved. While she had been walking toward Zorn, somewhat, her eyes did not precisely look toward him or anything, like if she had not noticed him yet or her attention was drawn elsewhere. All in all, being the only one of her kind, she was easy to notice and her coming there probably was not the first time. She was easy to entertain but also easy to bore, especially when there was nothing for her to do. So she came and went as she wished. Hellhound had a strong desire for a fight but she would not be dumb enough to fight just anyone. It's not that she was afraid but she did not want to be scolded for it either. After a moment, her eyes finally remarked the one person who was not like any other ones there. It made the beast girl stop and look, not stare but still not look away. It was mere curiosity that she was watching, just being there and expecting anything out of it. -
Her profile has been posted. Now I have a magical girl and a merciless beast girl (that I can play seriously for the first time in a long time.)

Name: Hellhound Age: ???? Sex: Female Orientation: Mostly Yuri. Race: Dog Monster Girl Hair: Dark Red (?) Eyes: Fiery Red/Orange Short Bio: Hellhound's origin is in her name: She is a beast girl from the Underworld. As lazy as ever, she always yearns to "play", which in her words means fighting with kicks and fire. If she is not sleeping, she is hunting. Humans being the enemy, they make for her the perfect playthings to hunt and break in battle. She is gifted with inhuman strength and scorching fire powers, bearing very sharp claws as well. She usually finds herself useful as a weapon of war. Hellhound does not seem to demand for much except attention as reward for playing well. Food and sleep are her main motivations, along with headpats. Her body emanates natural heat due to the nature of her specie.
-
One thing that could work... WHAT if I used Hellhound? For Zorn's side of things? She is literally what her name implies and fun fact, she also hunt humans for sport. Sexually or not, who knows. But I wanted to use her seriously at one time or another. As her bio says, she is also pretty powerful. Like raw power spiced with a touch of scorching flames. I was hesitant before but then I thought. This entry seems like it's baiting me to do so. She is incredibly dumb/naive and playful. And she would totally fight an army if she was told to. XD

Nice. I'd be up if/when Mitsuko gets involved. Just a reminder that she is a beginner despite what personal skills she has. But yes, gotta start somewhere.
-
My Mitsuko is set. Now I can't shake the feeling that I need an evil side character and since we have lot of demons, I might settle for an alien or space bound creature. Not sure about my options there but also since non-humans are supposed to be enemies of humanity, I'll have to think this one out. In due time. For now, I'm excited to see where this goes.
-
Maybe we can make this place super active. Things are now in motion that cannot be undone. (Or I wish.) Let's have more people join this magical adventure.

I was going to say "I am just waiting for a reply" but holy shit... I didn't expect this news this morning. Sorry to hear, Mysthero. You have something far more important to focus on so it's alright, really. I do hope it will not end the way it sounds, though. Take care of yourself first before anything else. I wish everything will be fine for you. ><

After taking hours to write my post, I think I'm good for a start. Had to sleep a long night before I even speak of it again. Hopefully, it wasn't too bad.

"Mitsuko Kugimitsu.", a voice echoed through the classroom yet no response replied to the call. The girl owning the name seemed to be elsewhere despite her physical presence in the room. A few giggles from other students did not do much to get her attention but the teacher coming to stand near her desk finally made her look away from whatever she was staring at. "Are you daydreaming in my class...?", the teacher asked, which made the student blush slightly, especially as some classmates were also looking at her. "N-no, sir...", she only replied, definitely guilty but not ready to admit it OR talk about it. The teacher didn't seem to insist on the matter, instead going back to resume his teaching. Mitsuko could not help thinking about what had happened the day before. Something that may have changed her life yet she could not tell anyone. First, because she would look crazy and next, because it would put others in danger. The day before... After arriving home, Mitsuko made sure to put her shoes away before she returned to her bedroom to study a little before dinner. Yet, she hesitated after walking half of the way there. Something didn't feel right. "Hello...?", she asked, wondering if anyone else was home. No answers. With a gentle title of her head, she turned and walked to another direction. She was not hearing a noise exactly but something lured her in. It did not feel malicious or anything. Mitsuko knew that nobody else was there. Nobody could have entered her home except her family. That feeling was not one from a person. It was indescribable. Opening the door to the basement, she took a good look downstairs before walking down the steps to an apparently empty room except for the boxes stored there. No lights were lit yet a clear light could be seen. This was it... What Mitsuko felt so strangely. Her blue eyes stared toward the light, nothing else mattered. What shone before her was not only a light but an object emitting it. As Mitsuko approached, what she saw appeared to be a jeweled sword no bigger than the size of a hand, laying on a shelf. She did not remember seeing it before, though. Somehow, it begged for her to touch it and surely, there was no harm in doing so. In the moment, she was enthralled into what she was seeing. She had to. Her hand moved slowly to the object until she could feel it. At this moment, her irises became smaller as she had a vision in this moment of shock. A new reality to this world that she was made aware of, if only vaguely. And yet, that vision was truth. After a moment that seemed to last eternally yet lasted merely a few seconds, Mistuko saw herself grabbing the object while a magic circle formed under her feet. Before she knew it, her eyes closed and she felt a powerful magic fill her body, causing her to shine, tearing her clothes to transform. When she opened her eyes again, she saw herself in a new light. The sword she held had grown to be a weapon in her hand and while she felt naked for a moment, free, new clothes now protected her body. She now wore a small armored bra with a ribbon and a skirt, different from that which she wore before. Her legwears felt slightly different, more heroic. Even her arms now wore long gloves of the same style while there was now a decorated headband of some sort on her head. Mitsuko had no idea how it had happened but she had been turned into a heroine of sort. With how much skin she was showing on her shoulders and belly, she felt somewhat embarrassed by this new costume. Looking back, she even found strange little wings there, which seemed to complete the theme she was dressed in. She had become a warrior. Could it really be? Was she destined to fight like she had seen happen in that vision? She wasn't sure. A while later, a knocking could be heard from above, followed with a voice. "Mitsuko? Is this you down there? What are you doing?" The girl froze, realizing what state she was in. There was no way she could show herself like this. "N-nothing, mom. Just looking through old things...", she replied while praying it would convince her. The mother did not seem to insist but still said, "Alright... Dinner will be ready in a moment, come back up soon." before she left, making the daughter sigh in relief. Now, how would she change back? Her clothes were gone and there were no spares down there. No commands to get them back either. And that sword... Best to leave it in the basement for now. Mitsuko's only chance now was to sneak up to her bedroom. With this plan in mind, she started going back up and took nervous looks around to make sure nobody was there. The mother seemed busy in the kitchen for the time being. Perfect. Making her way up, Mitsuko thought she could reach the stairs before being seen but a voice echoed behind her. "Where do you think you're going like this...?". The girl froze again, this time more embarrassed than ever. She got caught. Turning around slowly, she looked at her mother who had raised an eyebrow at the costume. "Is this one of your conventions again...? You children and your fantasy disguises...", she said, speaking of popular cosplay conventions. Mitsuko simply blushed but at the same time, saw this as a perfect way out of this situation. "I-It's a cosplay, mom... I don't wear this all the time. I will change back soon...", she told her before she stepped back and ran upstairs as fast as she could, reaching her bedroom at the speed of light but instead of changing, she dropped herself on top of her bed, not knowing how to even remove the costume anyway. Strangely, Mitsuko found herself to be sleepy, falling asleep quickly. Her mother apparently did not want to bother her after finding her like this. Whatever plans her daughter had, she figured that she was too exhausted to eat for now and left her food close by. Back to present... Mitsuko did an effort not to daydream in class again but facts were that she had found herself in this situation. Was it even real? The sword that somehow found its way back to her was proof that something was true. The small piece of jewelry had been on her desk when she had woken up in her normal clothes this morning. What she had seen was on her mind all day but she still did an effort to keep up with the others. She was usually not one to lose her focus but this situation felt so strange and new to her that it was difficult not to think about it. Perhaps it was best not think about it too much even though she kept the sword with her. The energy it radiated felt nice and besides, it was pretty. Mitsuko could not really hide that she liked the idea of wielding a sword. Being a fantasy heroine was not something she thought to do and yet, the sword seemed to call to her. Otherwise, why was she brought to it? Why did she transform? The bell finally rang and the class was over. Mitsuko only had one idea in mind for now: Find more about what she felt during that experience and if she could transform again. Without being seen... Next Chapter in the Story... (Click here)

I just noticed randomly the reference of Alexandrine and Jumi. Which is pretty much a "Legend of Mana" giveaway. (The former being a jewel). Jumi were the best.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking this alias thing may not be good for Mitsuko because she doesn't really try to be a super hero of sort. I know some magical girls DO have special names but some don't. One of my favorite for instance, Sakura, doesn't really use a code name. Meanwhile, Sailor Moon. XD But yeah. I don't feel like my Alias is that good for her.

Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 2X Short Bio: Mitsuko lived a peaceful life, studying hard but loving gym classes the most. However, she always felt like something was amiss in her life; a feeling that was lingering around her. Searching her home out of a feeling, she found a small piece of jewelry that was speaking to her but not with words. She felt a certain connection yet could not explain it until she touched it and felt the first experience of magical energy through her. Like it was destined for her. Like there was more to life than being a human. But this action did not only attract positive energy. It also revealed the ugly side of the world to her and what she may have to do to protect it against evil threats. The jewelry in question was a small sword radiating with magic. Magical form: By the power of the sword, Mitsuko became a winged Valkyrie with the power of light; the power to banish evil. When she transforms, her clothes vanish and/or tears away, leaving her naked yet at peace for a short moment and she soon regain battle clothes befitting a warrior angel. The wings give her the ability to fly while bringing down her sword of light and her judgement upon her enemies. Her eyes also change color from a blue to a purple ish color. When she loses her transformation, she usually find the clothes she was wearing before magic tore them away to make her transform. She is usually dressed in school outfit most of the time, being a college girl but when threats come, she holds her sword close. Orientation: Mostly Yuri. -

What I like to do is simply see it like a VN or a game. We have character introductions (If they are alone) and we can refer to them if we branch to other threads. Like a main threads where characters gather. I would post on such thread with a link to my character introduction so readers can see the root of where that character appears from. In short, I do not think that it would be an issue. Now if a character is directly relevant to an introduction, they can always step in there before branching. But yeah. It MIGHT sound confusing but it will make much more sense in action. We can always find out specific ways later but for a start, I think it would be good to spark some starting activity.
-
Okay, I saw some new threads spawn up and I wonder... Should I just... Introduce my characters somewhere or is there an agreed pattern for roleplay?
-
Pretty sure there's nothing wrong with a cowgirl magical girl. XD And then you have her enemy: Ghost Rider. (And I'm just joking.) But yeah, it could work.
-
I was thinking japan for myself. Well, when it comes to my character as she really is japanese in name and look. (Name was not meant to be a weeb XD)
-
None that I'm aware. Satai seems to imply that the war is global but the story may want us to not be too far apart. Although, to be fair, aliens can go wherever they like. Demons can come out and portal wherever they like. My character can fly (Although a magical girl probably would not do country traveling but still). I checked the story and threads and no names seem to be mention. So really, you can do whatever makes sense or leave it vague until the Host makes a decision on that regard. I doubt any starting location will be an issue. Disclaimer: None of this is meant to decide anything for Satai. Just putting my reasoning on the way we could proceed with this based on what information we have.
-
Well this is nice. I think I'm ready whenever myself. At least for some introduction with Mitsuko somehow. I have an idea of where she'd start. Many, even. Dunno if it would involve anyone to begin with unless someone is not far from her. My character is the only schoolgirl, I think. She can always go out somewhere but yeah.
-
Thank you! Yes, she is a Valkyrie like magical girl. A flying warrior but she might be a little bit "Level 1" to start so probably not many skills except her own. I will probably actually focus on her to begin with before I already start on someone else. She won't be that strong to begin with so I'm not sure about "tough in a fight" yet. She is athletic but not trained.
-
Oh no, I read about the corruption thing but that would not really fit as "get along". More like "control". What I mean is almost "befriend". I mean, unless demons all see magical girls and humans like trash then I might have to change the angle I'm trying to approach this with. I supposed that since Micori is not exactly evil by nature, she might get along with someone who doesn't try to kill her. However, it might be more difficult for this particular characters if demons are not supposed befriend any humans (And I don't mean corrupting them). This said, if it's a negative, I will not bite more than I can chew. I'm already glad that I made Mitsuko at all. It's a lot for me, considing the godly researches I've done. x.x I might wait due to the above situation. Last thing I'd want is to rush and mess it all up for myself and everyone. I'll wait for answer but go ahead, really. IF I get any sorts of working ideas, I'll involve this character in due time. OR another one, depending on what fits the most. Thank you for the offer, however. This is very appreciated. Please don't wait.

Just so we're clear since nobody responded to me. (And I know I can be annoying with questions but it's mostly my ADHD and roleplay passion speaking). So I imagine demons and magical girls can't ever be friends right? I also want to acknowledge what Satai said earlier: "I want demon/monster/alien allies of the Girls/Knights to be extremely rare" so I'm only asking if it's seen the same way. I think the better question is "Can a demon get along with a magical girl anyhow". Sorry if I post again and annoy someone. Again... I'm just passionate about this. By the way, If Micori came to exist, she probably wouldn't be able to traverse dimensions. In fact, I don't even know how far the "world" goes so it's hard to say. She probably would be on earth or some other world appropriate for demons. (I'll let someone who knows about this tell me.) Then I might make a bio for her if things are favorable for her appearance.

Well, note that I was speaking of another character that I have who happens to have the same persona or about. That other character was too playful for her own good and sometimes punished for not following orders OR for failing to succeed a mission given to her. It became cruel enough that she basically went "fuck all of you, I'm leaving." Even the enemies treated her better. XD I would not want to confuse who I talk about, anyway. Now Micori has a similar trait but probably not under the orders of anyone. I dunno actually. The whole "Don't mistake kindness for weakness" means Micori will not pull her punches (Or kicks in her case. Even the fighting style between both is similar) but yeah, she will not actively try to kill them either. It all depends on the context behind why she has to fight. (If she follows order or do it on her own accord for chaotic reasons). Which I'm not sure if she'd do the latter. She might seek something out of it, fun, pleasure, etc. But this is why I also wondered if it's possible she develops some friendship with someone non-demon. I dunno if I can picture her heartless enough to simply have her way with someone and leave them afterwards. Well, if we don't consider her social semblance of her image, she might have been ruthless before as well. I am still brainstorming ideas for her. Which brought to the whole "Is it possible that she could develop a friendship with a non-demon character or is there a political or objective rule that would completely cut the chances of it happening?" And I do not have plans for anyone or anything. I'm just really asking.
-
So... Let's say that Micori is playful but kind in nature. (Again, no mistaking kindness for weakness), ally or not, is it possible that a friendship with a non demon character is built? I came to realize Micori is basically the same as an enemy character I had in another story. Not exactly a friend of the good side but wouldn't kill them. If anything, playful and a bit rough. In the darkest times, when things really mattered, that other character did the conscious choice of helping heroes but only because she was mistreated on her side.
