  1. "Ehm-. Testing! One-two-three! Is this thing on?!" A booming voice reverberated throughout Eddie. From a distance, the genie that had pulled Eddie into this world in the first place, had been watching from his crystal ball. The events he had witnessed were far more tame than he expected but he suspected that Eddie was not making much progress. Or, if he was, Mimun was much too impatient to wait to see what would happen. Instead, Mimun would simply whisk Eddie from there to some place alone so the two could finally have a conversation with the each other. "Fuck it." There was a loud -pop- and suddenly Eddie vanished from in front of the nude princess. Just as quickly as he had vanished Eddie had reappeared somewhere very distant and remote compared to what he used to. Eddie was somewhere that was on the side of the mountain. One side of it was a desert an on the other, the side that Eddie was facing, was the same forest he had been in just a moment ago. If he squinted juust right, he might be able to see the kingdom he was just in. Mimun was aware that Ren was making her own moves on Eddie, which required a level of finesse. Eddie was being misguided from Mimun's wants and he needed to rectify this misdeed by Ren. "So, we haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet," the same voice from earlier sounded now like it was mixed with rushing wind. A torrent of flame twisted itself around Eddie, meandering between his legs an over his shoulders. Quickly though a large figured came out from the flame. A massive, towering crimson red man of gargantuan stature formed out from the fire. Mimun, the genie that had summoned Eddie some time ago, had finally appeared before his pawn. His hair flickered silently on his head like a crown as his eyes narrowed. "Huh. I thought you'd be bigger in person. . ."

  3. Takeshi's humming was cut five minutes short by Donovan's early arrival. Not that it was a bad thing but, Takeshi was definitely caught off guard almost every time this happened. He did appreciate it though, finding it rather courteous of an individual to show up early rather than "on time". Besides, that meant the receptionist had actually listened to him when he asked for her to stop pinging him whenever a patient was approaching. He was plenty aware of when they were supposed to arrive anyways. The spare five minutes gave the two a luxury Takeshi liked to try to lead with, to have a conversation off the clock. Takeshi set his watering can next to his set of plants, straightened himself out and swept his hair back before opening the door. "Ah, Mr. Lyvon, great to see you here early," Takeshi greeted with a smile as he stepped to the side to let Donovan in. He gave Donovan a quick once over as he walked in and then shut the door behind the two. Donovan was only slightly taller than Takeshi and was well dressed for a detective. Not all detectives elected to dress in such a fashion, some preferring a sort of "street-savvy" aesthetic instead. Takeshi noted this, figuring that the most obvious assumption was that Donovan favored professionalism and most likely took a sort of solace in the structure found within it. Already Takeshi was trying to analyze Donovan, pondering the links between an over-emphases on structure and latent mental illness given Donovan's rather cool demeanor and lack of social connections. Thus Takeshi decided that he would have to push the matter subtly if he wanted to garner adequate information without disturbing the possible data. Maneuvering that, however, might prove difficult as some were quick to catch onto a Psychiatrists wordplay. If that didn't work than Takeshi figured falling back on a more blunt and honest approach might prove fruitful. Takeshi made another mental note to himself an approached the side of his desk. The coffee cup was starting to become lukewarm, and to Takeshi's dismay, was still no more flavorful than it was before. Takeshi took the cup of coffee, sipped with a grimace, and turned his body towards Donovan. He didn't motion for him to take a seat, saving that for the actual appointment. Instead, he tried to open to two up with something less medical. "We have like, four minutes until we're on the clock, so we ain't gotta talk like we're on it just yet." Takeshi said behind from behind his coffee. "How's it goin'? Miss bein' a cop yet?"
  4. (that's it folks we've come full circle we can all go home now) Scary dreams
  5. One cup per patient had the nerves alive and well in Takeshi. Five cups into his day and Takeshi was starting to consider asking for a rotating door to his office instead of the typical sliding metal and glass. 'Maybe I should write in for that'. The idea made Takeshi chuckle to himself, thinking that maybe having something more unorthodox would help lesson the tension for his patients, and himself. Takeshi Jimenez, only 23 at the time, had just started working as the districts lead psychiatrist only for a few months now, replacing the last one who had left for unexplained reasons. But, despite this, his rosewood desk was already littered with notes, books and patient profiles. Most of the patients were "manageable", but Takeshi was not specifically trained for dealing with police officers or military personnel. In his few months there Takeshi had realized that there was a large difference between those in active service and those who were retiring or about to. The former was incredibly reluctant to share their thoughts or feelings about their situations, usually resulting to platitudes while the latter was far more willing an eager to share their thoughts and feelings. It definitely made Takeshi's job more difficult. From the way some of the cops and detectives looked at him, Takeshi was beginning to suspect they did not trust him. Perhaps because he was the guy looking at their heads on behalf of their employer. That would make sense, Takeshi reasoned, as he glanced at the time on his arm comp. The time was almost 5:30pm, thirty minutes after his next patients scheduled break. Between the exit of his previous patient and now, Takeshi had grabbed himself another cup of coffee to accompany him in tidying up his office. There was a large rectangle of a window that took up one side of the office, looking out onto the streets of Mega-City One, adjacent to it was a set of windows that looked into the bustling hallway. Out of consideration, Takeshi usually kept that set of windows covered with blinds, for the privacy of his patients. On the wall behind his desk was a single bookshelf filled with academic journals and scholarly texts, all pertaining to different forms of evaluation or observations of the mind. Between his desk and the empty wall on the other side were two chairs an a small couch of maroon and warm brown colors. Save for the white walls and large windows, Takeshi's office was furnished to be as earthly in color as possible, per his request, in hopes that exposing his patients to something less mechanical might relax them. He even bought his own plants to keep around the place, with some petunias on his desk and a variation of zz plants and lucky bamboo sprawled across that empty wall that lingered across from his desk. Whenever he left his office, Takeshi would leave classical music to play softly for his plants, thinking that they enjoyed the soothing waves of the old music. Now Takeshi was well into cleaning up the office, moving his papers and files into neat stacks and placing books back into their proper places. Of course, he made sure to bookmark places of interest with note ridden sticky notes regarding previous patients. He took another sip from his coffee, grimaced at its lack of flavor, his own fault, and began to water and hum to his plants as he went over the next patients file in his head. Donovan Lyvon, once a beat-cop and now a precinct detective, was to be Takeshi's newest patient. Takeshi had seen the stunning young blonde around Authority HQ before but they hardly had a reason to interact. It felt strange to Takeshi, at first, to know more about his clients than they did him before they even walked through the door. But working at Authority HQ for a few months had started to desensitize Takeshi to what would otherwise be an invasion of privacy. It was just a part of the job after all. From what Takeshi could understand from Mr. Lyvon's profile, the young man was a bit of an aloof prodigy. The guy had only been on the police force maybe a year and he was already being promoted to a detective and had even married despite his young age. From what Takeshi had seen, to be a beautiful woman too, although Takeshi doubted her depth as a person. But he would reserve judgment until he had a clearer picture of the two. Takeshi tended to be quick to jump to conclusions just from seeing a single picture and because of his education, so he did his best to remain open to new observations to counteract this disposition of his. Mr. Lyvon, outside of his new partner and wife, did not seem to have any friends at the precinct, which was definitely strange. Most officers had a sense of commendatory between each other and, while Takeshi was not about to doubt that Mr. Lyvon felt some sort of kinship with his follow officers, Takeshi could not help but wonder if that was actually the case. All-in-all, Takeshi knew that Mr. Lyvon was rather cold and distant to just about anyone and, because of his quick accession of the ranks, that there had to be an intense mind behind that chilled demeanor. He would definitely be a hard egg to crack. . .But Takeshi was lost in thought as he hummed to his plants and pondered his new patient. Unaware of Donovan's approach. Very professional. . .
  6. The bitter taste of having had been caught was still fresh in Takeshi's mouth. He knew the risks of a human trying to steal from the dragonborn royalty but, after having had observed this "Aisuru" for several weeks, he was certain he could have pulled it off. Those damn reflexes and that troublesome perception was definitely no joke, that he knew for sure now. Takeshi had devised a plan, utilizing the state fair and a few of his street friends as a distraction. But even with the commotion of the crowd and the bustle of bumping kids against her, Aisuru still managed to snap her attention to him. In fact, his wrist still hurt from her grip. Takeshi rubbed his wrist, the faint swelling still reminding him of that day. Despite this, he still felt a level of gratitude as well as curiosity towards Aisuru. Instead of having his hands lopped off she instead decided to have him travel with her as her serf. At first Takeshi had figured she just wanted someone to carry around and clean her gear but after a couple of training sessions he quickly realized she had different intentions for him. Now the two were well past the castle walls on their way to. . .where were they going anyways? "Aisuru, shouldn't I know where we're going?" Takeshi asked with pursed lips. "I don't see how I can be of much help if I don't have the full picture. . ." Takeshi slung their gear over his broad shoulders while wearing a very distinct pout on his face. The young man stood at 6'0", a few inches taller than his new Lord. He dressed light for their travel through the dessert, with a mid-rift, exposed shoulders and pants that cut off above his ankles. Wrapped around his waist was a white top, easily accessible if the weather too harsh with a ring strapped to his chest by four straps of fabric. He didn't normally like having his body so extenuated but for some reason it gave him a sort of confidence around his specific company. In fact, he was starting to grow into his new royal attire. ". . .Can't I at least know why you're leaving the castle? Ain't royalty supposed to stay behind the walls?"

However, in an attempt to steal off Aisuru, he was caught by her. But instead of losing his hands she decided to put them to a better use. Now he is Aisuru's serf, studying and learning under her. 8. The sun had barely started to intrude its way through the shutters of Takeshi's apartment when his arm computer had pinged him for its HERO OS update. Groggy and still half asleep, he couldn't be bothered to check the ping and slapped the arm band to shut it off before shoving his arm back under his pillow. It was Takeshi's day off after all so his still foggy mind was quick to reason that he had forgotten to turn his alarm off and promptly fell back to sleep. Days off for Takeshi meant abstinence from the arm comp. in the morning. The thing had become associated with so much more than just himself, constantly being pinged by Authority HQ for new issues or patients, the news network and more. It tended to be a source of stress more than anything else for the young man. The only thing he had to look forward to on that thing was usually his gacha game updates. Of course, abstaining from the body locked computer was ill-advised for any grown adult in Mega-City One which lead Takeshi to sometimes wonder what the arm computers for Mega-City Two were like, and if their lives were as dependent on the things as much as his was. A few hours passed until Takeshi was pushing his nude form up from his bed, forcing the inertia out of his bones an into something more fitting of an adult of his stature. His hair was a wild mess, plastered to one side of his yawning face with his back hunched over. Takeshi stared at his art covered wall, second guessing whether or not he should have stayed up to play games with his friends back in the outer city. With a groan Takeshi reluctantly jumped from his bed, forcing his body into some sort of motion. He arched his back, spreading his arms over his head as his second yawn for the morning broke from him before starting his morning routine. The precious coffee maker, a hand-me-down from his mother, was purely analog with three chambers to it. One for the hot water, another for the coffee grounds and the third for the mix to boil up into. It only took somewhere around five minutes to boil into a couple of cups which was more than enough time for Takeshi to get in his "work out". It wasn't anything grand like Authority HQ had suggested since Takeshi leaned more on the lazy side of life, opting instead for a few sit ups, push ups and a good-morning stretch. The first cup of coffee was usually his breakfast and would wait for him outside of his shower while the second cup would either wait for him to come home from work or, on his days off, serve as company to a good-morning gaming session. Nothing got the blood pumping and the brain firing for Takeshi like couple of matches in his favorite fighting game. But the cabin fever never failed as it started to fill him with a lingering sense of anxiety. Takeshi couldn't tell if it was just too much coffee or the strain of responsibility that gave him that daily feeling but it was there with him just as much as any other feeling was. Takeshi's apartment was. . .homely. It was far from impressive as it was small and boxy in design but, despite this, he did do his best to make the most of it. The bedroom was only separated from the rest of the apartment by the bathroom and a hallway where, beyond it, was the living room that shared the same room with the kitchen. Luckily, Takeshi had a small balcony that came out from the living room where he could people watch whenever he stepped out to take care of his petunias. While he wasn't as involved in the local art scene as he was back in his University days, Takeshi tried his best to support the up-and-coming local artist by adorning the walls of his apartment in their works. Some were abstract, with a myriad of colors or simply monochromatic while others were portraits of the artists friends, landscapes or photographs of generic city settings. Takeshi didn't have to live in such a cramped space what with his healthy check from Authority HQ. Psychiatrists, especially by Authority HQ, were in high demand as the sophistication and complexity of society lead to more and more stress related illnesses, but he had figured that it was best to save his money while he didn't need to spend so much. In fact, he was hoping to save up to open a Psychiatric firm of his own one day. He had started to make another pot of coffee for his looming trip outdoors when he finally noticed the flashing red notification light on his chrome arm comp. Takeshi rolled his eyes, sighed, and tapped the device to life. To his surprise, the user interface had completely changed. Sort of. "Well it's 'bout time!" Takeshi exclaimed to himself. "Oh! This was went off this morning?" Takeshi wanted to dive into the new features, to appreciate all the new bells and whistled the UI had. Takeshi was a bit of a geek when it came to little things like that and had been asking for a UI update on the forums for almost a year now. While the changes were simple, mostly cosmetic, he greatly appreciated the new colors, smoother animations as well as the new chimes that came from interacting with it. Nothing looked out of place, which was nice to know. The last time he had received an update the changes had moved all of his files and load orders out of place. He had to spend hours fixing things because of that. Instead, the only thing that was different beyond the aesthetics was the version update in the top left corner that read "HERO OS" and a single file located underneath it. Takeshi quickly poked the file with all of the curiosity that one could manage and then suddenly stopped, the glee and color dropping his face. ". . .The hell?"
  9. Howdy all! I'm new to rp an am looking forward to roleplaying with ya'll ^^ I had a couple of questions for some players? @Neptune I was wondering if it would be okay with you if Donovan & Takeshi had a professional relationship, what with Takeshi being the Authority HQ's Psychiatrist, making the two familiar with one anothers excistince/job but not friends? I was thinking this could also give some opportunities for character development/presentation in the rp via dialogue in the two's sessions together. @Ice Queen I read that your chara wants to become a doctor and is still attending college, so I was wondering if it would be okay with you that Lilian and Takeshi had attended some classes together until he had graduated before she did, making the two acquainted but not having had spoken since Takeshi moved to the inner city?

    Matty's Chara(s)

    Chara(s) for Manni's Superhero RPG
  11. From the album: Matty's Chara(s)

Name: Takeshi Jimenez Age/Date of Birth: 26, February 4th Gender: Male Species: Human Origin: Mega-City One Nationality: Altechian Occupation: Psychiatrist GAME + Genre: Outward + Simulation In Game Battlesuit: Physical Appearance Height: 6'0" Weight: 175 lbs Eye Colour: Emerald Hair Colour: Silver Physical Description: Takeshi Jimenez has broad shoulders and hips and is a few days away at a gym from having a "barrel chest". With long, firm legs, strong arms an a toned butt, it's hard not to notice the young man saunter by. Some may be shocked to find out that it is his picky eating that he thanks for his physique. Despite this, he doesn't like to bring too much focus to his torso and instead wears slim fitting jeans to accentuate his legs and butt. It is rare that someone sees him without his regal blue coat on, a hand-me-down from his deceased mother that he wears instinctively on an almost daily basis. He much prefers his casual attire to anything formal and getting him into a suit and tie is almost as hard as getting a cat into a tub of water. He usually keeps his soft, silver shoulder length hair down out of preference and, in the right light, his emerald eyes practically sparkle. His facial features are strong and sharp, from his defined jaw line to his piercing eyes. Some find his stature and demeanor intimidating at first, but will quickly realize that he's quite rambunctious once that stern face breaks out into one of his many dramatic expressions. Personality, Traits and Abilities General Overview: Takeshi is adaptable, and changes according to his environment, embodying the element of air, and is quick to react to things with intense emotion, embodying the element of fire. In a nut shell, Takeshi is flamboyant, intelligent, observant, philosophical, political, stubborn, volatile, sassy, charismatic, instinctual, empathetic and sympathetic. "Help me help you dammit". Strengths, Skills and Abilities: Like everyone else, Takeshi posses an arm computer but has mysteriously acquired one of the GI's. His GI + Outward is a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none sort of thing. It excels at item creation and survival, ranging from bombs, potions, armor and weapons to traps and food. His mind and instinct is his greatest asset. The GI he posses is not directly designed for combat nor support but rather is what the user makes of it, heavily rewarding creativity, knowledge and experience. The player is given a Rapier that eventually requires repairs. If not repaired after battle, or during prolonged bouts, the items durability and damage will degrade until it breaks from use. It cannot be destroyed in combat unless it has not been maintained. This applies to all weapons and gear created via the GI + Outward. Ability 1: [Lvl1 Item Get!] The player is afforded an inventory located in the GI's pocket dimension. Inventory space is 2x Player Level. Items may be given or exchanged to other players. Ability 2: [Lvl1 Item Create!] The player is granted a deftness with their hands, reducing lag between mental functions and the hands. The player is afforded the ability to create items from their inventory in an instant, save for the time necessary to access their inventory. Quick Slots unlocked through player progression or the UI of the Arm Computer can circumvent this issue, to an extent. Finishing Move: [X Variable] The player locks onto a designated target and delivers a highly effective blow, dependent upon the item they have equipped. The X Variable varies item to item and depends upon its attributes. I.E., a healing salve may instead be used on a near-death ally whereas the starting Rapier, or other offensive weapons, may deliver a devastating blow to a weak spot of the target. Weaknesses: Besides being easily swayed by his emotions, Takeshi's GI prevents him from excelling at one or more things until later levels. If the enemy is observant they may easily determine how to counter his current load out. His starting load out, the Rapier, is inherently cqc and requires precision. While Takeshi is deft in eye-hand-coordination, the lack of armor afforded makes cqc undesirable for him despite it being his main option. Takeshi relies on openings and thus an enemy with high defense makes an offense difficult if an opening is not created. Weapons and gear created are dependent upon items brought into the battlefield or found there and are generally limited in use. The level of items created is locked to his level, making his class effectiveness an efficiency locked to later levels. What Takeshi can do on the battlefield is highly dependent on the Battlefield, the opponent, and the items available to him. Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): Takeshi has a dream of one day creating a Psychiatric firm that both Mega-Cities can use. He finds it strange, if not idiotic, for both mega-cities to be at odds with each other when there is the ever looming threat beyond the two. He knows his dream is unrealistic, if not outlandish an impossible, but he can't help but hope that one day both cities can see each other for the people they are. Both sides, bleed, think and feel and if there is one thing they have in common, it is their need for mental care. Hobbies and Interests: Fighting games Caffeine Strawberry anything Adventure Being needed People Personal Sexual Information Sexual Orientation: Probably Bi-Curious Turn ons: Vanilla, Aggressive, Submissiveness, Ass, BDSM (He's a switch), Blowjobs, Breasts, Legs, Hips, Dubious Consent, Pet/Master, Petites, Romance, Size Difference, Uniforms, Exhibitionism Turn offs: Adult Baby, Anal (Giving), Bestiality, Cheating, Chikan, Necro, Cuckold, Food Play, Fisting, Scat/Water Sports, Mind Control Penis Length: 8-10", depending on arousal Sensitivity: Neck, back, shoulders and legs are all very sensitive to touch, kissing, licking and biting. Genitalia sensitivity is extremely sensitive at the moment since he has not had sex in years. Can change with exposure. STD History: Clean Extra Information Father: Manuel Jimenez Mother: Anaris Jimenez (Deceased) Siblings: None Grandparents: Unknown House: Apartment near Authority HQ Car: Motorcyle Additional information: Ask him about fighting games and watch him turn into an excited child. History Awards/Commendations: 5 time Debate & Rhetoric Champion at Authority University. 4 time champion of FLS (Fighting League Sports), currently in second place and competing for 1st with a long time rival. Bio: Takeshi is two parts fire, one part air an all parts a walking-talking furnace. There is nary a difference between his rational mind and his emotions, making him prone to giving into his emotions quite easily. However, Takeshi is quite cerebral. Highly intelligent, inquisitive and instinctive, he is quick on his feet both mentally and physically. As his emotions serve as his life-compass, he uses his intellect and knowledge to guide himself through the chaotic waters of life and his mind. Takeshi is hard to predict; one moment he’s kidding around the next he’s trying to start a philosophical debate with you. He can be overly dramatic but he does it for the amusement of himself and hopefully the other. Most of the time. He is a very “go with the flow” kind of person. Takeshi is still a human, and thus comparably weak to the monsters of the outside. Despite this, Takeshi’s main weapon is compassion, hoping that maybe by showing people kindness he will somehow pull some good out of them. When he moved from the outskirts of Mega-City One to Authority HQ, he left all of his friends and father behind. To Takeshi, this was necessary to escape his fathers abusive household in the outer city. Takeshi never had a strong relationship with his father and because of this he now lives in an apartment by himself that he pays for with his winnings from fighting game competitions and his job as a Psychiatrist. Back in the outer city Takeshi was a social butterfly and a playboy. Now that he’s in the inner city he has changed into what you see here. When he’s not at work or studying, he’s usually out and about, looking for opportunities to help others, playing in video game competitions or just out to people watch. Takeshi has a bad habit of constantly focusing on others and the world around him rather than himself, leading to a degrading social life and difficulty acknowledging his own problems. Although Takeshi hates a dishonest person, he is dishonest in a few respects. He does his best to make sure people do not know he’s watching them or reading them. Takeshi knows reading people and getting into their heads is an invasion of privacy but his rationalization is that it’s okay since he does it with the intention of helping people, especially as a Psychiatrist. Takeshi is constantly reaching out to others, trying to help them and make them feel good, but he has never had someone do that to him. He will never admit to it, and even deny it, but he secretly desires someone to do the same to him. Takeshi has a tendency to push aside his thoughts or feelings to make others happy. He believes this to be dishonest, but he does it anyway.

Name: Takeshi Jimenez Age: 21 Sex: Male Height: 6'0" Weight: 210 lbs Eye Color: Emerald Hair Color: Silver (From stress or from dye? Who knows) Sexual Orientation: Straight Turn ons: honesty, quick wit, compassion, vanilla, rough, dubious consent, aggressiveness, light bondage, doms/subs (he's totally a switch), cosplay, exhibitionism, Turn offs: scat/water sports, rape, necro Penis Length: 10" Quick Summary: Takeshi is a young and new member of the city's university and the ecchi apartments. He goes to school studying psychology, sociology and other humanities subjects to become a therapist, but despite that Takeshi usually tends to keep to himself. Having had just moved from his parents home in L.A., he is hoping to make friends, and maybe a new lover, by spending his free time either playing in fighting game tournaments or drinking at the local bar. Naturally curious, his guilty pleasure is people watching and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
  14. @Multiversal I did not think that could be constituted as high level drama. My apologies for the annoyance. //:
  15. Mk. I understand. Please share this sort of info at the begging for future reference. It'd make things more easier for all us instead of having to decipher things. I'll make sure to get people to be more clear in the future as well.
  16. So why didn't you communicate any of that?
  17. I asked if Mimun could join in just to talk to Eddie to which you declined. You do not have to outright say the word "no" to give someone the equivalent of "no" via declining, that's just semantics. However, I sincerely apologize for making such an accusation. I hope you can see how it would like that from my perspective since you have not given any of us your full and clear thoughts. You declined my proposal to have Mimun simply talk to Eddie, which you just said you assumed he would do even though you declined that much earlier. Besides that, you failed to communicate any assumptions that you had apparently made. The sudden revealing of your assumptions makes it look one thing while you're saying the other. Regardless, you declined my proposal that you then assumed I would do anyways an instead of communicating that, waited over a month to get that across.
  18. This is your response to me asking if Mimun could join in to the encounter. Why are you making stuff up when you can just scroll up and clearly see that you said no to me asking if I could do what you had apparently assumed I would do?
  19. Bruh, I asked if I could do that a month ago and you told me no.???@onearmeddruid
  20. So is that a yes?
  21. Can you two move it along? The rest of the rp has been held up waiting for you yall to finish your encounter.
  22. Lol is that the only reason ?xD
