Khalida had glanced towards X-369, her hand moving up to lightly pet it's head. She had taken a moment, a nod from herself being given to the other four that had entered after them. The silver haired female had thought thought a moment after listening to Ryan's reasoning and what their next moves should be. She seemed to have stayed silent before she opened her mouth to begin to speak. Her hands were folded across her lap. "If I'm being honest, from a researchers point of view, it would be more beneficial to stay on this planet for a little bit longer." She began, pausing for a moment to think. "It would be important for our safety to go first. I agree on scouting the area out, and make sure if this planet is truly safe or not. Plain brute force wouldn't work if their nest is bigger than expected."

Khalida had entered the room a few minutes later. Her hand rubbing her eyes, as she had been taking a quick nap before the captain had called a meeting. She gave a nod to acknowledge the captain before she had taken a seat herself at the table.

Khalida paused, her eyebrow raising for a moment as she questioned its actions internally. A soft sigh left her mouth, her hand moving to lightly run her fingers over the creature. "...a cat... you remind me of the cat I used to have." She mumbled out to herself, staring at the creature.

Khalida seemed surprised at the perfect imitation of Captain Ryan's voice. Noticing the effort it took to allow her to lower her guard down. She fully relaxed her tense body, soon approaching the creature before stopping when she was about two feet away from it. She soon knelt that, examining the creature up close. "Very interesting indeed. You're quite the interesting creature, aren't you?" She mumbled out. Khalida hesitated for a moment before reaching out her hand to touch the creature.

Khalida continued to observe X-369 from a distance. She seemed a bit surprised when he reached his hand out before pulling it back. "Quite intelligent too," a small smile seemed to appear on the silver haired female's face. She thought for a moment to herself, debating if she should let it come closer or not. In the end, she allowed the creature to come closer to her, but stopped it when it was about a few feet away.

Khalida kept her eyes on X-369, unmoving from her defensive stance she had taken. She seemed surprised when the creature jumped down and took a low position. Her eyes seemed to fill with curiosity as she slowly relaxed. Her eyes examined the creature, soon relaxing fully, although she kept her guard up. "..friendly creature," She let out a soft sigh, allowing the creature to come closer to her, although keeping it at a certain distance as a precaution. "How interesting you are,"

Khalida had paused in her tracks, seeming to have heard something within the Main Bay moving. She gave a small frown to herself. Her eyes seeming to search for anything. When she didn't find anything, she was about to look away and continue on her way before she flinched from the loud crash of thunder. Her eyes landed on X-369, her hand immediately going on to the sword she kept by her waist. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she kept silent, examining the creature that was on the jet. "..A new creature huh," Khalida was unsure if the creature, X-369, was harmless or aggressive. Yet, the researcher inside her was dying to make new discoveries about the creature in front of her.

A soft sigh had escaped Khalida's lips. The silver haired female had just gotten finished with some of her work and had decided to bring that to the Captain later on. Her teal eyes scanned the room, the Main Bay. Since she was taking a break from her work, she decided to just wander around the BlackStar and managed to end up here. "Ah- I should head back to finish my research.. should be about time I get back to it " She muttered out quietly to herself. Her voice quite soft as she spoke to herself. She let out quite the heavy sigh, brushing back her hair from her face.

Aye. I'll do that then.

Hmm... how about by the Main Bay? Would that be alright?

Researcher Khalida de Achlys Name :: Khalida de Achlys, Lida as her nickname. Age :: 25 Height :: 5'6" Sex :: Female Sexuality :: Asexual Personality :: Lida is described as 'blank' as she rarely shows emotions. She's more of a serious gal, though she is very gentle and kind to the other crewmembers. She mostly keeps to herself as she doesn't like a lot of distractions or noises. Skills :: She has a high memorization for things she has read over. Khalida has also learned some swordsmanship as a way of self defense for herself. Bio :: Khalida comes from a family of researchers, who did tons of research on many different things. This included research from after the invasion on Earth and the left over alien tech. As a result of this, she was both interested in it research but also was experimented on by her parents (resulting in her high memorization skills and such). Lida continued to be experimented on until she had reached her teen years and left her home to pursue her want of becoming a researcher like her parents. She mostly has complicated feelings for her parents and prefers not to talk about them. She went to take classes to become an researcher as well as taking a few swordsmanship classes as a precaution. She later on joined the BlackStar as a researcher and continues on to do research on the various worlds and other things they find.
