Well I guess if you have looked at the lists above you must be wondering how on earth someone with such narrow tastes ever gets a Roleplay going! I admit that, compared to many here, I do seem to have remarkably boring tastes. I like to think that what I lack in variety, I make up for with quality! I am not in any way prudish or frightened of pushing my own limits. I will put as much into a RP that is set in someone else's favorite time/place as I will into my own. I will explore sexual limits as long as they are in the context of the story and make sense with the characters. I think that Romance - like any emotion - is conceived, born and nurtured in the mind. I enjoy roleplays where both partners can be themselves but play out their thoughts in a story. My most favorite RP is one with two people - m&f - where there is little up-front constraint. Ideally, I just need two people who are destined to meet (how does not even have to be defined) and then we just see where their relationship goes. I do understand that many people want there to be some things pre-defined so that the story at least has some context. I say, let's just talk about it and see whether our minds connect enough to give it a go! I cannot gender-swap. I am male and I write as a male. I feel that if I write as a female it will lack integrity and will probably be either a lot of cliches or very shallow. I am imaginative and love to connect with a sharp mind - with someone who enjoys writing but goes beyond the dialog and helps me see the environment of the story. I will not write anything abusive or unnatural. I do not accept them in real life and, therefore, will not do it here. I love long RPs - following a couple through the ups and downs. I will write long responses and short responses and often somewhere in between. I believe I contribute equally. My requests of a RP Partner: If it is not working, don't just abandon - tell me If you have to take a break - tell me Do not speak for my character but let's share everyone except our own characters! Be prepared to have a side-bar conversation (outside the RP) where we can agree/disagree and manage changes to the story I will do all these in return and add that I will always respect my RP partner.
