    Amelia's words caught Taka off-guard. For just a second, his eyes widened and his cheeks flashed a modest red. He felt his heart skip a beat. What the hell was that...? He asked as he looked to the woman. "Don't worry, it's not a drug, though it may feel like one. It's a powerful substance that can illicit a strong sexual desire. It can also make your inhibitions fade and make you truly want something that you crave. Doesn't necessarily have to be sex, but that's usually how it goes." He said, inching closer and closer to the woman. "But I didn't lie to you. This is a menu item I have been wanting to put on for quite some time now, obviously with a forewarning. I just needed someone to test it on so I could record the effects. So I'll ask again..." He said, close once again to Amelia. "What did your really want this whole time you were squirming and moaning?"

    With Taka being pressed against Amelia, he could feel just how wet she was. It was so evident, that even he was sure some of her juices had gotten onto his pants where his groin was. He let Amelia go ahead and would direct her from behind, thinking it wouldn't be hard to make it look as if he bumped into Amelia "accidentally". "You'll be getting your pay for today tomorrow, so... rest easy, I guess." He said, untying her apron off of her. His hand, though, slightly grazed Amelia's back; enough for her to feel it anyway. "Hope you feel better soon." He said, hiding his slight smirk from Amelia. Maybe something more would happen at this moment, but it was more likely that Amelia would leave the store. Still, a man could dream.

    "W-What the hell do you mean?! What's with the sudden accusation?" Taka said, feigning ignorance. "Can you at least face me when talking to me?" He said, spinning Amelia around gently by her shoulders so he could see her face. When he saw her bright red face and flustered expression, he knew it was working perfectly. Of course, he didn't show it on his face, but he knew. The only question that remained was what the young woman would do next. "You're face is bright red...! Do you have a fever or something?" Taka said, putting his hand up to the woman's forehead to feel her rising body temperature. "You're burning up..." He mumbled, faking worry in his voice and on his face.

    "Uh... Okay. I can take you to it if you like." The man said going up to Amelia and lightly placing his hand on her shoulder. The aphrodisiac must've started to take effect. "What, did you think I was gonna keep you here after hours? I figured you would want to go home soon anyway." He said, trying to hide his already faint smirk. It was already much stronger than anticipated if it was having this effect on her already. "Did you think I wanted to keep you here or something? I still have late night customers, y'know." He said before making a voiced sign of concern. "Hey, you alright? You haven't looked at me this entire conversation." He said, obviously knowing what was happening to her, but couldn't show that he knew. Feigning concern was the best thing he could do right now.

    Taka's mind focused on cooking and taking care of his business. though he did occasionally think about what Amelia would do with just his first name. He didn't really care what she found out about him, he was an innocent man on the surface. He may have had a court record, but it was proven he was innocent and falsely accused, so he wasn't worried. Even then, his mind still went back to Amelia and her reaction to the root vegetable currently and very slowly taking hold of her body. But, there wasn't much time to think about it unfortunately. The shift had begun and the day, while not super busy, was sure to be long... Location: Taka's Ramen Shop / Time: 7:50 PM Amelia's shift was just about over, and Taka had to close up in about two hours. "Alright, you end in five minutes." He said to the woman as some customers were leaving after eating their food. "Not bad for your first day. You held yourself pretty well." He said seriously.

    The man looked up at Amelia. He had been straightforward with her this entire time, but I guess the one area he hadn't been was with his name. He figured that even if this all did fall through, there was no point in hiding his identity. Besides, if he wanted her to feel more trust in him, he would need to be at least a bit more transparent. "Takahashi. You can call me Taka." He said plainly with a small smile. "Alright, customers should be in any minute. Look alive." He said casually as he started making more ramen. It was slow, but his plan was coming to fruition. But for now, it was time to be in business mode. He had Amelia's reaction to the noodles to look forward to later anyway.

    Taka didn't think much of the girl's explanation for her paranoia. It made sense, though the sex trafficking ring comment made him make a face that almost looked like disgust. He wasn't interested in stuff like that. No, he much more enjoyed when people did things of their own will, or at least they were under the impression that they are. The man grabbed the empty bowl, putting it in the sink to wash out later before going to the register with Amelia. "It's a standard register. Push the top button to open it, push the tray back when you're done. Use the keypad to calculate purchases and... Oh, right." He said, grabbing a piece of laminated paper which had all of the stores menu items and their prices. "You'll need that. I wouldn't want you having to look up at the menu every time you needed to do an order." He said, as he walked back to the sink to wash out the bowl. Despite this going far better than expected, he still needed to keep up the facade as best as he could. Especially if some moron came in here just to harass the new female worker, just because she's female. He couldn't just let stuff like that happen, at least in his shop. "Is there anything else you need to know?"

    "...Do you consider a vegetable a drug?" Taka said seriously, stoically looking at Amelia as she freaked out. Talk about a drama queen, even if her intuition was right on the money. But she wouldn't have to worry about the side effects until after her shift. Though, he did wonder what would've happened if he didn't measure out the ingredients correctly... Now, that would've been something, even if it would've been bad for business. "Relax, drama queen. I only put in a sweet root vegetable. Not even a lot. I would've called it the Lovers' Choice because the new ingredient in there, if you put a high enough amount of it together, is an aphrodisiac. I only put in about four ounces worth to not mess with the flavor. I assure you, you'll be okay." He said, faking sincerity. He wasn't lying, he just knew she was going to be a sopping mess later on and he couldn't wait to see what she would do then. "Get up in my face all you want, just eat before your shift starts." He said as he went back to his own workstation.

    "Jeez, do you always need to look at me like that? It's just an ordinary bowl of noodles. Though, I did put a new ingredient I've been wanting to put on the menu. I figured you'd be perfect to try it out on." Taka said, half-lying. There was a new ingredient he had been meaning to try out that was in the dish, but there was also something just for Amelia. Maca, a sweet root vegetable with a bunch of health benefits and flavor bonuses was the new ingredient. It's also a naturally occurring aphrodisiac. Obviously, he couldn't put too much in there as it would ruin the flavor so it was mixed with Asian ginseng and saffron, two ingredients he was already using, to make a rather strong aphrodisiac-laced ramen. Obviously, if he put this on his menu, it would come with a huge disclaimer of its effects, but Amelia wouldn't need one. "I think I'll call it... The Lovers' Choice." He said to her with a chuckle. "Nah, that's pretty cheesy, huh?" He said with a shrug. The effects wouldn't start until after Amelia's shift was over, but she would feel it. Oh, would she feel it. In fact, he would tell her later to see if he could get a recorded reaction. Having a food guinea pig was fun and much more arousing than he initially took credit for.

    "Hey, you learn fast." Taka said as he grabbed an apron and tossed it to Amelia. "It's a Friday, so business will be pretty slow. You should be able to get the hang of it easily. You get a lunch break in two hours. I'll let you know if there's anything else you should know." He said as he returned to his own station, bringing the noodles to a bowl to dry. "Maybe before closing time, I'll show you how to cook actually good noodles. Not just store-bought ramen." He said, finishing the first bowl of his homemade ramen, the shop filling up with a classic aroma. "Here, you can try some if you like. You still got a bit of time before your shift, if you're really hungry anyway." He said, holding the bowl in front of her. He was kind of banking on her eating at least a little bit, as he put something special in just for her.

    Taka chuckled a bit, shrugging as he let the situation go. "Whatever you say." He said before looking back at the clock, going right back into his business like persona. "Alright, your shift starts in five minutes. I can't teach you how to make noodles in that time, but I can teach you how to man the front register and take orders from people. You can manage that much, right?" He asked seriously. He wasn't just gonna throw her into the deep end. A job is still a job, even if it was all just a front for something bigger. If he acted like the bigger person during all of this, it helps with two things. For one, it keeps people unaware of his and Amelia's true relationship and what he plans to do with her once she's comfortable. For two, it keeps Amelia under his thumb without her realizing it. "Oh, you still need an apron too. Kitchen protocol and all." He said, getting up and walking to the back to get an apron Amelia's size.

    "Well, since I'm a private company, I have a reputation to uphold. The quality of business is going to reflect how you and I come off, so I need you at the best of your ability. There's a ton of different factors at play here." Taka said seriously, looking at Amelia and talking like an actual business owner instead of the punk he was being last night. He wasn't kidding about extra hands on deck at his place of work. Though he held incredibly vital information, first and foremost he needed to take care of his business before anything else. At least, that's what he was saying to use as a cover up. He had more than enough money to close up shop and just play with Amelia if he really wanted to. But he liked to play with his food before diving in. "At any rate, you'd be getting paid just a bit above minimum wage and work four days out of the week; three weekdays and one weekend day. What, did you think I was just gonna fuck with you? Or... Did you want me to do something to you while you were working?" He said, some of his attitude from last night seeping into his business like persona a bit.

    Taka was behind the counter, making noodles as he usually did before hearing the door open. He looked to the door to see Amelia, then back up at his clock. "Good to know that you're early." He said, leaving the noodles to finish cooking on their own as he dried his hands and walked from the counter. "Sit, we'll talk about your pay and what you'll be doing here." He said, taking a seat at one of the tables and waving for Amelia to come towards him. While he needed a legitimate worker help, he obviously wanted a toy he could play with. Still, work was work, and just making her do things to alleviate his own workload felt just a tiny bit cruel to him. Besides, he was going to make sure Amelia revealed her depraved sexual feelings to him on her own. Making her feel secure was part of the fun, so her mind could be broken later.
