  1. Guilty. Several. If you go looking, consider yourself warned, there is some very dark stuff I've written in public spaces here and elsewhere. Next poster has been tempted to write snuff but has never, uhm... pulled the trigger.
  2. Guilty-ish, always start that way but wake up on my back. Next poster flies a Pride flag or sports a Pride sticker on their car/laptop/water bottle.
  3. Guilty. You need a hug, Izzy? Next poster has had a pretty good day.
  4. Guilty, but funnily enough, for hockey. Next poster has taken a penalty in a rec league hockey game.
  5. Guilty. Michigan from several angles, Superior from one and Huron from one. Next poster has been to an NHL game.
  6. If we were talking about Chad's period, why?
  7. Nevermind the question mark, how the hell did we get to "period" instead of "full stop"? Isn't "full stop" clearer? Is there a penalty for bonus questions?
  8. Not guilty. Humans are TERRIBLE about using power. If anyone had magic they would Lord it over everyone else in vulgar displays like we see with wealth. Next poster owns a skateboard and rides it.
  9. I had pictured Dylan coming up from the beach toward the house, so I imagine that they may see Robin - but will they recognize her?
  10. Magda leaned back in her chair and sighed as she stretched, "Actually, Lieutenant Kehrer, that is precisely why I ordered you here. If I wanted you here for an intimate encounter, I'd have pinched that pretty ass and asked you if I should shave my legs or not." She zoomed the tablet's display in on the outpost and panned to what Intel thought was the food processing plant and raised her eyes to Emily with a wink, "That's not off the table, but I didn't bother to shave - so there's that to consider." "It would be an incredible breach of my responsibility to you to order you here for sex - unless you're into -" she cut herself off. "Not germane to to discussion." She said, waving her hand. 'Fuck, that nicstik is taking your head weird places.' The captain chided herself. She pointed at the tablet, "In your estimation, is that the food plant? And, if it is, if we can get the outpost quickly and quietly, can we adjust the amount of E-bloclers it adds to the food? If so, we can make enough for us that's clean and wean theirs down, right?" She reached out and patted Emily's hand gently, "I am asking you to return to hell, I know and I don't like it, but it's the only way we start to get ahead. You've suffered, a bunch, to get here - I owe you a better world for that." She pointed at the tablet, "And I want to know if this is step one in making that happen."
  11. Guilty. Several. I keep hoping to find a story for a couple of characters, but nothing quite shakes out for them Next poster ate Thai this week.
  12. The Liberation Union REALLY needs a new pilot so Captain Payarkoon doesn't have to make Emily swap BioFrames. @WickedCadrach, is Scyllia the jealous type?
  13. Magda could smell the cigarette smoke before she opened the door. She'd only just gotten out of the shower and was wearing only her tank top and a pair of shorts. She shook her head trying to clear her head of the thoughts the scent of smoke stirred in her. The captain opened the door to the small suite that acted as her office and apartment. It was little more than a pair of closets at the end of the squad bay, but it was private. "Damn it, Kehrer - could you not smoke here?" She asked. It reminded her of Kitta. Magda pushed the thought away, hoping the flash of romantic nostalgia hadn't shown. "Seriously, that's got to play hell with your body." Magda liked the younger woman. The Hive had taken nearly everything from her and what was left, Patches had given to the Union. A lot of what she has given has been collected by the shaven-headed captain. "Nicstik outside," the Captain ordered as gently as she could before pointing inside, "you inside." Magda turned and took the few steps to field table she called a desk and gestured at the folding stool. "Sit." The smaller, darker woman spun her data tablet to face Emily. It showed the Hive outpost they'd defended earlier that day. "So, here's the plan. I want that outpost and we are going to liberate it. With everybody inside intact. I want their food plant, and I want it all broadcast, non-stop, on the Hive's own drone." She looked up, "I know how much you hate them, some of them anyway, but if we can free that whole outpost and keep it - safe from the Kaiju and the Hive, we may have food." She tapped Emily's data jack, "And meds." Magda raised her eyes to Emily's, "Most importantly, hopefully you won't have to be the only one fighting back." The captain flicked off the slate but left it facing her subordinate, "Now the hard part. You're going to have to pilot that new frame, at least for long enough to drive off the Hive military." She paused, knowing the sacrifice she was again asking of Kehrer. "Granite and Patune are formidable but we're going to need more firepower than Scyllia has. I know what I'm asking, and if I thought I had a choice, I wouldn't." Magda rubbed her temple, "We'll bring Scyllia in the carrier and you can switch back as soon as it's safe - I just don't want you, or her, bitten in half," the scent of smoke hung in the air, "like Kitta." Magda couldn't explain why she'd said it and immediately regretted it. "Once we have the outpost we'll be able to get a couple of turrets up, and Scyllia will have access to the river to keep warm and wet." Magda wasn't entirely sure who she was trying to sell. Or what.
