  1. Section One: Who Are You D20, 6 rolls. Taking a cue from @IsabellaRose's Anamnesis playthrough, I'm rolling all 6 times first, and then will address the prompts in an order that seems to make sense. Ine of the first things that happened is I rolled 15 twice in a row and there's no instructions on how to handle that, beyond "do what makes sense" we'll decide when we get to the prompt. 12 - You dream of owning something. What is it? Why do you want this thing so much? 5 - You have an emotional wound. What was done to you in the past that you can't yet let go of, but wish you would heal from? 7 - Describe your social confidence levels. Do you suffer from social anxiety, or are you quite at home in front of a crowd? 15 - You think your world is mostly good. Describe the coping mechanism you use to help you when it's not. 15 - we might be able to do this twice, but I think we'll reroll. 18 - You are jealous or envious of someone in your community. Who is it? Why do you feel this way? 19 - Your biggest vice is something illegal, or at least socially frowned upon. What is it, and how do you indulge it? Our Goblin roll is 2. But what do we collect?
  2. Creation Myths is a solo journeying game (the author's subtitle, not mine) by gothHoblin and available on itch.io. What it really is is a character back story generator. Before beginning play it is important (though not explicitly defined in the rules) that you have some idea of what kind of a setting the character belongs to. There are several "modes" of game play described at the beginning of the book and while it was my intent to use just the base rules, the Goblin Mode that adds a collection to the creation story is too tasty to not use. Inspired by the Cortex game I bowed out of when game creation steered a direction that didn't appeal to me, I returned to the steampunk western ideal that I had hoped for. This is the story of Benjamin Garret's creation. Each section requires a number of die rolls that indicate prompts to answer to uncover the character. Because I'm playing in Goblin Mode, I need to decide on what Ben collects and make a d6 die roll to see how many he collects. A 1 means zero, and that makes Ben unhappy.
  3. Fuck. Why fight the urge to orgy?
  4. Not guilty. But I have judged a chili cook-off. Next poster has sat all night, tending a fire to smoke ribs, brisket or pulled pork.
  5. Marry, because all this wedding night fucking sounds like fun.
  6. Magda allowed herself to be guided away from servicing her young pilot. She had given herself to Emily, gladly. The momentary disappointment of being pulled away from the sweet, sticky work of worshipping at Emily's seeping cleft dissipated at the touch of her lips. Magda loved the taste of herself on a lover's skin, and she could feel the same excitement in the way Emily's tongue touched her lips and the young lieutenant kisses nibbled at her sticky chin. Magda pressed herself close, letting the taller woman's erect nipples caress the dark, olive skin of her own. As Emily savored the taste of her nectar off the dish of Magda's face, the captain's hands found the firm flesh of Emily's pretty ass. Magda squeezed the pliable globes, caressing them, feeling the strength and harsh transition to steel and plastic. The seam was strength. Resolve. Terrible beauty Magda did not know if she, herself, possessed. Magda used one hand to gently pry the delectable peach open, as the other pushed a finger back to the entrance it had so recently vacated. Part of Magda wanted Emily to shove her onto her desk, face-first and stuff her sopping hole with three fingers, forcing her to cum.
  7. mic drop (Does that mean we're done here?)
  8. Guess if we're fucking with toys, I'll take a ride on the strap too. Yee-haw!
  9. Guilty. In the States about 2 hours on the highway (unless you live in one of the top 10 population centers, in which case two hours is an evening commute). Next poster avoids processed foods.
  10. Guilty, but not in many years. Marriages, kids, houses, jobs... I haven't been more than 100 miles from home in nearly 20 years. Next poster thinks that's an absolutely ridiculous truth.
  11. Fuck, because it's been a minute.
  12. Guilty., I guess. Baking looms large in my life, and I like roasted squash of almost any variety. Pumpkin is kind of more hassle than acorn or pattypan, but I like it. Next poster enjoys a massamum curry, be it pumpkin, chicken or prawn.
  13. If a Western turns up, maybe she'll make an appearance. For now, you all get on with YOUR game.
  14. My issue is mine. You all have a game you are happy with. It is more Steampunk Urban Shadows than appeals to me. The game is fine, it's just not the game I want to play.
  15. There are elements shaping up that don't look fun. Looking at it objectively there was one character who was NOT fitting in, so I withdrew. I'm sad about it - I like the idea of Saha, but she doesn't seem to fit well. I came into the the game very, and specifically, inspired by Prudence. No one else knew who she was. It was selfish of me to try to make her fit.
  16. I suspect that's for the best. I'm bowing out. I'll be around to help Izzy if she needs it (I suspect she will not). As Alex duLarge once said, "Apo Polly Loggies"
  17. What, if any, of the menu of waffles, seems like it would make a testy addition to our corner of the frontier?
  18. I have a few places that are pushing around in my head. Several feel important to Saha but irrelevant to everyone else. At least one feels like an important location to the setting, but doesn't feel immediately relevant to Saha. Without saying which ones are which, here's what I'm waffling on: The Sweat Lodge A Hidden Canyon Fort Calhoun Shotgun Mary's Saloon Billy Wong's Bordello The Tent Camp The Train Station
  19. Chicken shit. 70's. Yeah, I'm fucking old. So? If I can't beat your ass, I'll send one of my kids to do it.
  20. I'm 99.9% sure that's a typo for Step 2., but what to clarify. It would not surprise me if I failed the "Fill Out Your Character Sheet Roll"
  21. Challenge accepted. Just today in a 3d20 roll LOW attempt I rolled a 17, 18, 20 to buy myself a resounding failure, with a bonus side of Complication.
