I am good with whatever one fits you the best. Currently a bit behind on some RPs and scenes, but I try not to keep partners waiting too long.

Since the influx of new students is pretty low and the active members fairly consistent, it doesnt' seem like it needs a ton of work to keep up with. I simply have to watch which characters are being used regularly. But thanks for the consideration, nontheless! I think she is currently in a scene, but my scene partner doesn't seem overly active. I would argue we can do the scene on the side in a dorm room.

I have compiled all of the students listed into a full list. If you see any you wish to be listed as active, feel free to let me know. Of course, it does require the character to be used within the foreseeable future. I hope this list will help you guys!

Who wants to start us off?

The image issue is due to the admin doing stuff with the image database or something along those lines and it messed up tons of image links on the site. The monster codex does say to only lay with your own kind, but they are more guide lines than a strict set of rules. Basically, it is trying to outline what the best way for monsters to act like, but of course it is impossible to really uphold to the letter, even if they wanted to. It is there mostly for flavour and some fluff. I see. Not really going to do all the work though. While I appreciate hearing the methods for it, I still find mine more simple and practical. Not going to link to posts - but I will be putting the topic page number next to the names.

Honestly, I still think the best option is a simple name list and their current status. I can also name the topic page number they are found on and any more info than that, they can now easily look up. It's look a single page is kilometers long after all. Unless someone else gives a better alternative, I think this will be the "winner". Also, I made a topic under "Suggestions" for asking the staff if there could be a club wide "tag", meaning with a single tag, every member in a club can be informed of something at the same time.

Cleaning up inactive students seems fairly simple to do, but the question is this for me: How to do it? I would hate to "hide" the posts, in case said users do return and want to get with their student characters. The best I can think of now, is a separate topic with the only use is to show which characters are both considered "in use" and, as you mentioned, telling people which characters can be considered inactive by now. I am an avid user and fan of the K.I.S.S. principle, so I try to make things as simple as possible.

As I am currently running multiple clubs with open world settings, I have had the need sometimes to address everyone who is a member of the club at once, for large announcements and other things. I would like to hear if it's possible to have a tag that could target all members within a club at once.

I did put an image on all or most of the start post in all relevant location topics. It just seemed natural to do for me, along with a minor description when needed or fitting. Honestly, I feel like I can check off all the stuff you have listed @LazarusLuna. I hope that @Icarian Dreams can confirm this. Certainly, I at least attempt to be as fair and open minded as possible. I have few hard no's, but in general I like players having freedom.

As always, I LOVE hearing your input, Luna...and no, no sarcasm intended! I already know I have a ton of characters here, but I think it makes a little bit more sense with me being the owner and such. In any case, I don't think you should feel any sort of required to or pressured into making more than one character. It does give you a lot more options of course, but it does require more of you as a player naturally. Regarding inactive ones: I have removed the staff members who are basically "dead" RP wise. I DO give people the option of telling me if they are still interested in playing said staff members and if they say they are, they can stay. For students and townsfolk, I see it as less of a problem, but if there is a bigger interest in making it clear who is active and who is not, from the community, I will try and make a thread for that.

There was talk about larger events for members to participate in, but I doubt I need to remind you how well our classroom meetings went. It was a huge jumbled mess to keep up with. I am aware not all find it difficult to do, but I do know a fair share prefered not to do it again. I would love to bigger events, but how would you go about it, without it turning into something what we saw in those times? I honestly would really, really like that to be a thing, but the execution seems difficult to pull off without it turning into a bigger project each time you need to interact with the "room" as a whole. It seems like the people who stopped using the site altogether also often correlate with those who also stopped using the club. Like Olruk, ThatAnnoyingGod, Multiversal for instance. I don't think it was the club as such, but more a question about their activity on he site as a whole. I really hope that if members do find issues with the club, that they are vocal about it - otherwise, it's either a complete guessing game for me or I will have to keep bothering people who fall in activity. Do not worry about it. I have a lot of patience, as long as I know my partner is still wanting to do a scene or roleplay. Sadly, I have had some people here just outright stayed silent about things and left in me in "limbo" about whether or not something was "dead".

Very true, but surely we can agree on that there is a thing between "one" and "way too many" characters? I will be more than glad to help make things easier for you. The main reason I suggested it, is because it allows for much more freedom and scope to do scenes with. If I only stuck to, for instance, Yoko, I would probably never be doing any lewd scenes since that is not the type of scenes I really seek with her. You also need to consider that multiple very active users have pretty much vanished by now. There were several who put a lot of time, effort and creativity into this and whom I miss having around. We had an amazing and sprawling community. While I know that when it gets busy again, it will be different, I still think it is worth trying to aim for. I had a wonderful time back then and I think it is worth my time and effort to try and even get near it again. Are you suggesting that I put in some story lines to help things go forward? I will say this though: I am trying to create a longer story for all of my characters over time. I am not sure if it shows, but it does require that my characters interact with the same ones multiple times for it to properly show. For instance, I greatly enjoy seeing Karnis try and be more open to new people and experiences. With that being said, I am also very interested in dropping some story lines on the characters of members. Would that interest you?

@Icarian Dreams When this club was all new it was very, very active. So I think it mostly depends on the exposure and of course how each member feel about public RPs. I think what makes it easier here, is that we are talking shorter scenes which are mostly contained within themselves, rather than a longer and coherent narrative. Personally, I really really enjoy the public open world things. So I will continue to do all I can to try and make my clubs visible and hopefully attractive to those who share this interest. I will not pretend I know the interest of the community as a whole, so I think it's a bit bold to conclude either way. I am not saying you do by any means, but we have seen that clubs can be very attractive and active publicly. A few examples: 1) This one 2) The Pathfinder one 3) My Neuropa when it was newer 4) The Black Crusade one @Chiyako Happy to hear it! So do I and I hope we can soon do more scenes. You are very fun to roleplay with. Have you considered making more characters? The staff, for instance, could really use someone to take over some of those roles too.

I think I will begin with a status update advert at least and look at more options to get us out there! As far as I can tell, there is the option of having an advert on the top right corner of the home page. I will look into this as well!

As the symbol has now been spent, it is no longer visible on the floor at all, leaving behind the room as it was before the triplets had begun drawing upon it with the magically imbued ingredients. So there are no traces left of what transpired but in their minds and on the back of the hands of Giana, Claire and Jessica. The triplets smile softly and all step closer to the anubis, their eyes wandering upon her body as they encroach her, but in a non-threatening manner. They all nod gently and get pretty close to Anpu."Ohh, but of course. Your input was very valuable", "I thought we would have failed for sure without you" and "How about we show you our appreciation?", is what she hears next from the sisters.

OOC: Since it seems relatively pointless to have a conversation between two different characters of my own, I will try and make it short and to the point. Jessica soon learns the name of the familiar, which is Jennifer. Then exchange terms for the bond between them and her, which basically boils down to her being their champion in battle and in return, they provide her with their magical energies and monetary payment, as well as being considered part of the prestigous LuBelle family. The sisters seem surprisingly reasonable and agreeable in their offers. The negotiations are over rather fast and easily as well, putting an end to the whole thing. The three sisters and Jennifer are given a symbol on the backs of their hand to both represent the bond as well as a means to summon Jennifer when needed. After that they say their goodbyes and the mysterious creature vanish once more. After this, the trio then turn their attention towards the anubis lady once more."So, what do you think miss Anpu? Went smoothly after all...we told you that we were some of the best", Jessica says with a cocky grin on her face.

Bridget is not really someone to show a ton of emotion, particularly at work, so she simply nods and gives a faint smile at the appreciation from the student she is working with."Good to see that it helped you out miss Tina, but if you have more trouble, you are always welcome to look me or your own teacher up for it", she replies back and offers the little one a scone with chocolate chips in it before she goes away completely.

Bridgets takes some paper she already used for notes in general and begin to dot down information and data from this session. It seems needed and helpful for Tina's teachers if they are to help her better and of course so she can spend her own time more productively. Not that she considers this a waste of space, but those who the lizard girl better and sees her regularly, would be better off knowing how to deal with situations like this. She finishes about the time when Tina does the same and she checks her answer. She gives a soft smile back and pet her head once more, thinking this is the easiest way to communicate approval."Very well. Looks like you did good, miss Tina. I have written down some notes for your teachers. Can you bring that with you as well?", she says and quickly duplicates the notes onto a new sheet of paper, she puts into an envelope with her name on it.

OOC: I worded it badly. She didn't use her ability, but stopped herself from doing it out of instinct, so she remained where she was. Also, how is she able to tell what "race" she is? She hasn't said anything about it. The relunctant zombie student feels a bit trapped here. She knows she could probably come up with excuses to avoid being pulled into any furher interaction, but she also still do want to try and wade beyond her comfort zone and it's not like Rashi is overly pushy, mean or anything and even asking if she is allright. So she gathers her courage and willpower and tries to calm down enough to not be totally awkward and weird."My...my race? Uhhmm...I...I am just..you know...not used to...meeting strangers...and such...you know?", she says and tries to force a small smile.

Mary eases up a tiny bit as he would probably have tried to smosh her if his intentions were outright bad. However, she still keeps herself calm, collected and ready to act in case this goes sour very fast. He seems to be someone of few words, which can make things more clunky to get through, but luckily it isn't too much an issue for the southerner lady."Have yah been livin' in that there cave? What exactly are yah curious 'bout? This is private property and Ah will have tah ask yah to leave the premises unless yah have some sorta business with the academy", she says firmly.
