The vampire countess listens to both Hellhound and the home economics teacher, trying to see what the best strategy would be, even for something this obviously simple and easy. She has never heard about these oven mitts before, but it seems pretty straight forward. She simply watches the teacher use them to grab the pie tin out of his oven."Ohhh, I can handle that with no difficulty, I am certain", she states and nods. Thankfully, a part of being undead is having a colder body, which hopefully helps a bit as well. So she puts on the oven mitts and then quickly slip her hands into the hot oven, pulling out the metal tin and up again onto the stove where it can rest for now."There! Easy enough!", she says, sighing in relief though.

Pacifica nods approvingly at the first bit of his reply, letting him know that she can follow this intentions about sticking to more articulate and formal speech. After all, she does have subjects who actually prefers this sort of approach of speaking to her and it is not at all like as if she dislikes it."That makes sense. I just like people to feel comfortable around me, so if you still feel that way, then speak as you please", she comments back on that briefly. Once he gets into the more interesting subject she does show a much more pleased and perky expression on her face and he can tell she very much approves from her facial expression alone."Ohhh, ambitious...and we could indeed use more humans who wish to work for the future coexistance and cooperation of our worlds. May I ask what gave you the motivation for this?", she asked very interested.

For now, it does seem like he has her undivided attention as his sister is mingling with others and the teachers speaking amongst themselves as well, leaving the two to have their own private conversation. Everyone has been given a small drink as well, a glass of red wine to enjoy as well as a few snacks on a nearby portably tray table. The queen herself has taken a glass of wine which she gently sips at from time to time. She almost giggles a bit at Raul's very classy adressing of her."While I appreciate the gesture, I am really not that formal mr. Raul. To answer your question: I was scheduled to come here anyway on a more routine-like inspection and light briefing about the dealing of the last few months, as well as on that last event - the school dance. So pretty uneventful as such, but it is nice with a bit of diversity, like this event. What do you intend to do with these powers then?", she replies back and takes another sip of red wine.

I am in general very happy and content with how patient far most people on this site are. I have had some RPs that has had a lot of time without replies. I at least do wish to hear if others has the interest in it and if they do, I usually feel fine with waiting.

Just after that she adds her own final touches to her own project. Her own one is mostly a fangirl-ish project with various singers who Karnis really likes and thinks are nice person in real life. She has added a quote and short description under each of them."Looking good Keya. Yeah...why not? It certainly helps to make it stand out more!", she comments lastly.

The tall and imposing dragon turtle demon walks fairly slowly, but with determination and assuredness in her whole body as she approaches. The silence seems to hold until she finally reaches the crowd who were watching her. Her dress lightly "floats" just above the ground and in general there is whole aura of awe around her. The first person she approaches personally seems to be the teachers, whom she briefly shakes hands with, congratulates and so on. Afterwards, she trots closer to the student in question, with a soft smile on her face as she does so."Hello mr. Raul. Congratulations on your achievement. It is rare to see humans aspire and aim for such talents. You must be pleased with it yourself, I hope", she says in a more jovial and grounded tone of voice than one might expect.

OOC: I am kind of running empty on ideas for topics for them to discuss. Shall we try and move to a conclusion? Karnis is mostly through her own project as well, meaning it is soon the end of the excuse to try and hang out for a bit. She has very much enjoyed it really and hope it may be the start of a longer and better relationship towards her classmate."But of course...your physical traits don't really define you as a person after all", she quickly comments on that, happy to hear that she was able to give some reassuring words to him. Then he goes on to explain how he thinks it goes for guys. It seems pretty much like how she imagined, but for now she will have to take his word for it."That makes sense. Are there any guys you like to hang out with?", she asks, trying to slide into a new subject.

I like to have a lot of options to pick from and for my partners to potentially RP with, so I can indeed recommend having more characters.
