Patricia is still not very happy about being among all of this fighting, but at least dealing with the turrets is somewhat helpful. As she gets to work on those turrets, she also retracts any useful "spare parts" they may offer and then teleport those back to her own private workshop within the ship, as she is able to transfer minor things like this with one of her handy tools. She stays silent with the team while doing so, but she does send out her surveillance robot."Go and keep an eye on the battle field Jessica", she tells it softly before letting it go to spy around.

Holy shit. Those are lots of posts being made while I was asleep. I will fully admit I am skipping every part where I am not involved. Not because I don't want to follow things, but because it is simply overwhelming and confusing me a ton.

I keep up behind the big guy in heavy armour and soon she too can see the door leading inside. She does her best to try as he said:'So this is how, huh? Seems fairly easy I suppose. So my next job is the door I presume?'.

After a while the huge turret seems to be up and running as it stirs to life once more. Patricia rolls her eyes at having to spend her much spare focus and time on trivial matters like this."This is soon over San @Solomon . I have no idea how your juju works. No one informed me that mind juju would be part of this and if you wanted me to use it, then tell me in advance perhaps? My job is to provide tech support and that is what I am doing. I can have my skull come to once we have no more need of the turret. Mr. Gibbers hates being out here alone", she tells him with little interest. The massive turret begins to spray the enemy soldiers with a hail of bolts, surely taking down at least one or two easily and quick. Once the task is over with, she simply gets to the nearest safest spot she can be at and pull out the robot she was tinkering with before."Allright...just tell me when we move on", she tells the man in armour.

Once the coast seems fully clear and no one to shoot at her, at least from what she can sense, she walks over towards the machine that @Solomon pointed towards, pulling out the necessary tools."I have got this mr. armour dude!", she says having no idea what else to call him for now. She looks over the contraption and it is almost too simple to be worth her time and effort. A heavy sigh of reluctance washes past her lips and she roams towards the energy feed which she begins to tinker with and then begin to reroute it through her servitor skull, so that it may corrupt it.

In all honestly, Patricia is not really a huge fan of screaming, blood and violence. Of course, this is a huge part of every day for most soldiers and the like and she has seen her share of it as well, but that doesn't mean she has to like it. So she takes cover the best she can and of course try to avoid any injuries. She bring forth one of her minor robots which has a camera attached to it. She sets up the connection to her left eye, which acts as different ways to get visuals on things and now she may send it forth to get a better look if needed.

This is one of few times Patricia has been in a drop pod and it still very unpleasant and not fun for her, so she mostly shakes all over from the trip and of course the impact. Lightly shaken, she unstraps herself and exits the pod to follow the others, whom she has yet to know the names of. If they need to talk to her or get her help with something, surely they will ask her. Luckily, her machine-like body quickly readjusts and she is soon fully mobile and ready to move on. She goes behind the woman in rather gruesome looking armour @WritesNaughtyStories."Do I need to do anything before we get inside?", she asks, hoping there might be interesting tech along the way.

@Eros Angel Patricia will most likely be fully following her own goals mostly. Will this be an issue for you at all?

Patricia spends very little time with others due to her focus on tech and building things, so for now she will have to get to know the others from this mission. She is aware of the mind ability things others can use and for once she looks up from her tinkering, with a very disinterested look in her eyes."Ohh, the mission? Can you give me the cliff notes of it? I think you are aware that my expertise only revolve tech and thus any other details, beyond my own safety, will probably be unnecessary. If they prove to have some proper hardware and new tech, I will surely be on the lookout for that. When do you plan to leave? I am allllllmost done here, after all!", she simply speaks.

Patricia only half way listens to what is being said among the rest of the assembled crew present as she is more busy tinkering with her new little robot."Ughhh...I really need smaller tools! It gets so freaking hard to reach the minute things in machines this small", she softly speaks to herself, with the retractable miscroscope zooming further in withing her left eye. She has not even heard the actual assignment being told on, her mind mostly in the clouds with machinery, learning new tech and so on.

As someone who has been wronged by this behaviour twice now, I can honestly say that I very much am happy this is getting adressed, but I am saddened by the fact that it needed to be said. I know I am not always the most politically correct (check title here) and I personally have shifted in my political views quite a bit (we all change throughout life after all), but when I act and talk in a calm and polite fashion, that gives no one the right to start freaking out on me for no reason. Are we going to get along 100% of the time? Absolutely not and it is utterly naive to even think that is possible. Do people piss me off at times? Yes, of course. The adult thing is to either let it go, talk about it in a productive manner or completely avoid that person or that/those topics. There are so many better option than behave like a fucking child who thinks throwing temper tantrums gives them the high ground or make them more right. I have learned more and more to avoid those people. Sadly, we now see how even that still brings those people to toss shit at you. =========== Now to the positive side of all of this (real talk and all that huplah!): I really, really love being here and engaging in fun times with nearly everyone I have ever met here and talk to regularly. So much positivity, so many nice people and plenty of creative effort and ideas. It's places like this that made me realize what a cesspoll I used to visit (F-List) and that we have places where freedom of speech is allowed and practiced in many different ways. Every day is a lot of fun in many different ways and there is generally high empathy and general understanding of each other. We are all very different and while it can sometimes divide us, I think it is best to focus on those many other aspects where it brings us together as a community. There are so many wonderful people who do know how to act like grown-up (to the extent we need xD) and make this an amazing place to be and community. I want to be very honest here: I still deal with some mental health issues, but I can genuinely say that a lot of people here support me very well and help to build around the foundation that I get from regular therapy. So while incidents like the past week or so are very bad and regrettable, it shall not take away from the 98% positiveness I have gotten out from visiting here.
