I plan to get reference images of the two races put together. Humans have changed a bit due to their advancements so I will have to make those. I plan on using AI shoujo ( the current repack) to make the examples of their appearances

I noticed some peoplw joining already despite the fact that this is still in the early stages of being made up. So I will put this here and if people want to chat or ask any questions feel free to do so.

The Humans ( Homosapien ) The Humans are the original inhabitants of the planet who had polluted the planet to it's ruin in the past. This forced them to leave in search of a new world once earth became uninhabitable for them. However they could not find a suitable home. Knowing about quatum mechanics they decided to return to earth hoping it would have healed some during their travels. And upon return they have found during the mellenium they had been gone from Earth's prospective it had not only healed but had evolved over time. So humans decided to set up an orbital station to live on till they can absolutely garuntee that they can return to live on the surface. Morals and Sexuality Most humans enjoy a lot of their 'freedoms' and tend to view certain priveledges as owed to them. Such as good paying work, a home, and certain benefits with health care. Humans usually view killing as bad except in situations where they may be in danger themselves then they would willingly kill. As for sexual morals humans are very open minded. Anyone could have sex with anyone or any number of people as long as all participants are consenting adults. In fact sex is more viewed as akin to a type of leisure activity rather than actual reproductive purposes. Marriage is not common anymore it is more or less viewed as a ceremonial title for those who want it. But most will choose a specific person or persons to co-habitate with and these are their life partners. If a human female gets pregnant it is no longer considered a burden as humans have designed an artificial surrogate system. An artificial womb that the Germinal stage fertilized egg can be placed into. The system provides the perfect enviornment for the fetus to grow and can even allow a doctor to make modifications to the genetic coding if necessary or if requested. [WIP]

The Latua ( Homotinea ) The Latua are the new humanoid race that have developed on Earth. This race of humanoids evolved from Moths. As a result the Latua actually can see exceptionally well in the dark, while normal daylight will bother their eyes after long periods of exposure. As such they are mostly a nocturnal nation. On a Latua's body they are born with markings that are unique to each Latua member. These markings cover their body head to toe including genital area's. Identical twins are the only ones that will have the same markings as each other, while Fraternal Twins will have similar but different markings. The Latua believe these markings identify the inner soul and personality of a being. The Latua also have microscopic scales that cover their skin that can flake off appearing to look like iridescent dust. It is theorized that these scales actually help protect them from the radiation that lingers on the planet after the ruination that was brought on by humans before them. It is not harmful to the Latua to shed these scales as it seems they do regrow quickly. The Latua also have a highly advanced brain function. This was evident when the humans first arrived, the nation at that point only spoke Latu (their native language). But just within a few days they had picked up the human languages just through observation and now the languages have become part of their society. The Latua also seem to have minor telepathy skills that develop as they physically mature. However this is not an immediate thing and needs to be thoroughly trained and practiced. Latua priests and priestesses seem to have a stronger connection to allow for telepathy, even allowing them to communicate telepathically with humans while other Latua are not able to do so. While they can speak to each other telepathically it is not possible for a Latua to hear thoughts that are not purposely transmitted out. Moral Views The Latua are a deeply spiritual and honor orientated people who tend to put duty to the well being of the tribe ahead of their own needs. If one does something purposely to harm the tribe or results in harm to the tribe, then they are viewed as not having honor and will be shunned or even exiled depending on how serious the act is. If one is being shunned they can regain their favor and honor by accomplishing a great feat in benefit to the tribe. Things like murdering a fellow tribe member, forcing oneself onto another sexually whether bonded or not, physically abusing ones partner or underlings, and killing of an infant either in the womb or already born are examples of some dishonorable acts but is not the full list. Clothing Due to the much warmer and humid climate of the planet. The Latua typically do not wear any clothing at all as they do not need it for warmth. There are some exceptions however. As the chieftain, the high priest/priestess, and members of their families will have special head gears that they wear. Another exception is hunters may wear a strap that helps hold their weapons such as knives, spears, bow and quiver, darts, and blow guns. Another exception is when Latua members go out to gather supplies they will wear a sash with folds that can be used to carry gathered materials. Mothers will also use similar sashes to hold their infant children as well. For a few religious rites and ceremonies there are certain garments that must be worn by the participants. Such as in the Eternal Bonding ceremony, which is the Latua marriage ceremony, both partners wear headdresses specially crafted by their partner for the occasion. It is also common for partners to be wearing necklaces and bracelets during the bonding ceremony. There are other ceremonies like the Rite of Divine Duty, the Passing of Life Ceremony, and others that will have special garments or accessories during those occasions. The last exception are necklaces, bracelets, and head pieces made from trophies of the hunt. Usually used to show one's achievements in hunting such as killing a dangerous animal and displaying its teeth, skull, or claws on one of these accessory pieces. Sexuality, Genders and Eternal Bonding The Latua only have 2 sexes and 2 genders which are one and the same Male and Female. To them the idea of more than 2 genders is illogical because there are only 2 biological sexes. However they don't have distinct roles for each gender the only gender specific expectation is that females who bore a child will usually be the main care takers of that child till the child has been weaned off of it's mother's milk. After that point the child is the responsibility of both parents. Besides that any gender can fill any role. Whether it be chieftan, High Priest/Priestess, Priest/Priestess Healer, Hunter, Collector, Cook, Builder, Weaponsmaker, etc. Unlike a lot of tribes in human history the Latua openly accept homosexual couples and bonding's. As they understand that love can be shared between anyone whether or not they are either opposite in sex or the same. In fact one of their Goddesses is in a same sex bond with another goddess that they venerate. The only requirement on same sex bonds is one of the members be willing to reproduce with a willing member of the opposite sex in the Rite of Divine Duty. This act is obviously not done out of love but duty to produce offspring to keep the future of the tribe secured. When a couple bonds a tattoo is put on their left wrist. The tattoos for bonded partners will match. The only way out of a bond is death of one of the partners. If a Latua widow or widower wants to remarry the new partner is given the same tattoo as the widow/widower bears. If both are a widow/widower than they are given a new secondary tattoo higher up on the fore-arm. Spirituality and Superstitions The Latua similar to many tribal nations is a very spiritual nation. Having many rituals, beliefs, and superstitions. Religiously they have a polytheistic religion and a pantheon of gods which they fear and venerate. They believe that these gods helped create the world and helped in their creation as a nation. The Latua pay tribute to these gods by venerating idols or performing certain ceremonies that involve incense burning, offering of various grains or meat, and the singing of special prayers to these gods. They also believe that the gods have provided all living animals and plants that exist on earth. As such whenever they hunt they pray over the animal as it's life leaves it's body to show appreciation for it so as to not anger the gods. The Latua also have several annual festivals to venerate the gods. These are tracked by the phases of the moon. and the alignment of the stars. These festivals are usually celebrated by the whole nation with exceptions of a few festivals being only for certain groups among the Latua. The Kaelga is a fearsome name among the Latua. It is treated similar to a boogey man among the tribes and for good reason. Kaelga are large venomous serpents that have preyed upon the Latua in their past. The Latua treat them akin to evil demons believing that even just the shed skin of a Kaelga can bring bad luck or misfortune on one. They also believe the Kaelga to be pure evil and to be enemies of their gods. They also believe the Kaelga to be intelligent enough to plot against the tribe, sabotage the tribe, and even ambush hunters. If a hunter kills a Kaelga the Kaelga's body is destroyed in whole or else they will recieve the wrath of the gods. It is also the only creature that has a special prayer said over it upon kill, a prayer of tribute to the gods for slaying on of their enemies. Geographic Locations The Latua typically settle in areas with lots of cover, mostly forests, and along flowing bodies of water. These covered areas help protect them from the weather as well as normally being similar habitats to the animals they hunt. They also like flowing water as it can not only be a good food source but it can be used for drinking water and they can use the water to bathe in as well to keep up hygiene. Latua typically try to avoid barren areas such as mountain tops or rocky valleys. Also they will tend to settle in areas that are distant from Kaelga den's. [WIP: The information here is not finished more may be added later.]

Well its been a while since I looked in here.

alright so I made a poll for people t vote for the type of reset they want and I also describe what each one entails.

This is a poll for the Reset. Pick either of the following. Hard Reset: The Hard reset is basically wiping the whole campaign clean. Starting from the beginning as if none of these events have happened. Soft Reset: The events that have happened are still treated as having happened but we jump to the end of all interactions to start fresh and unlock players. Any characters that are not active or being dropped will be treated as either having died, left the area, or having never existed at all.

No werewolves are not wiped out.

Actually I wonder if I could make a poll to see if people would prefer hard reset or soft reset.

As for existing roleplay I am not sure exactly tbh I am thinking of either resetting or doing a soft reset after the event. I don't know of any war between werewolves and vampires. If you are referring to the purge that is something very different. But I would say just not to really worry about it too much since this takes place at modern times everything from those eras is in the far far past. The only ones who could remotely know anything about it is any really old elder vampires. If you want you can keep your characters, change them, or make new characters. It will be up to you.

Revitalization Project and Expansion Announcement This is going to be a Project to renew and streamline this campaign. Some changes will be made to this campaign. Some of it is regarding some of the specifics of functions with certain dark mythos creatures, one of the species under consideration for restructure is the vampires themselves. Although I have a specific set up for them right now and this set up will remain as a variation even after the restructuring. Below I am going to detail some changes that are planned. Worldbuilding: So I plan on fleshing out a much larger world and a general history for this iteration of Earth. Right now there is planned that there will be 3 major Era's in this world as of so far. These eras will be connected but will have different feels to them and could fall under different genres of fantasy even. I have made mentions of an alternate history before in this roleplay but I never managed to actually work on it and flesh it out. However this will be a bigger project to deal with and I may want some help with this. This new fantasy world will be called the Lost Fantasy World. The 3 Major Era's are as follows The Wild Era (Name may be subject to change): An era where the world was vast and had regions that have yet to be explored. A world where there was many species such as elves, dwarves, tieflings, Taewari, and more. During this era Magic was free and extremely common. This is your typical High Fantasy like setting. The Great Purge: A time period spanning a few centuries. During the early years of this time period the humans went to war with the other races. They began to search through lands they owned and conquered, executing any non-human they found and grinding up their bones. As this time period progressed eventually magic was banned and the humans went through destroying magic texts. Eventually humans developed a strict religious system and would rewrite history to make it appear that these other races, old gods, and magic in general never existed. The Modern Era (Name also may be subject to change): The era after the purge. and the one that Spruce Moore take3s place in. Most knowledge of fantastical creatures and people has been suppressed by the humans. Monster are disregarded as myth and things such as magic and elves or more are regarded as fictional imagination, with most people unaware that these were based in truth.. In the early days of this era hunting guilds were made to hunt remnants of the older days that had survived somehow such as vampires and werewolves. However now very few of these guilds still exist and now many members of these groups are chastised as being insane or crazy. By the modern day any survivors are so deep in hiding that it is believed even by the church and it's secret societies that humans are the only race left. Even human governments do not know about the previous existence of such fantasy elements, But this calm that was formed can become upset at any time. As you may imagine fleshing this out may be difficult especially in a forum such as this or other forums that I plan to run other roleplays connected to this joint world. Because it will be a mess to pin every topic and then to get things lost in pages of threads where you have to tediously click through it isn't too efficient. This leads to the next point. World Anvil Integration: To keep all this lore and information I plan to make a world anvil database that is open for viewing. Where people can read information on whichever subject they are looking for. World Anvil works similarly to a Wikipedia or an encyclopedia but designed for world building. I already set up the work space on World Anvil for Lost Fantasy, the world that Spruce Moore takes place in. Here I will work on information for the world starting with things that are most necessary right now. Such as information on vampires, werewolves and other elements that we are touching on in this roleplay. I plan to put a link for this database in the description of the roleplay. There will not only be information on races, history, lore, and such. But also I plan to even feature some artwork for characters and certain items as well. However any character art will have to be original character art of that character and not of a pre-existing character that is used for general appearance reference. With all of this put on world anvil it will be possible to have roleplays on various platforms all using the same reference material. Vampires: So vampires in general are some what confusing as they are highly inconsistent depending on which material you are looking at. So I decided that I will introduce multiple varieties of vampires that will have different strengths and weaknesses depending on the type. I will detail the specifics about this at a later time. Humans: I plan to add normalish humans to be playable in the roleplay as there will be humans who still believe in some fantasy elements and some who may want to hunt them down or some who may want to help. If the human is not aggressive towards vampires or werewolves then a reason that they know of these races existing will need to be given. Hunters that we will be dealing with would likely assume that these creatures are out there even without proof. Humans could either just do their own thing or they could possibly join one of the factions. I was originally against this at first but now I am deciding to implement it. As far as how magic goes for humans they will have the capability but it will require a lot of practice and use for their mana pathways to work again as magic has somewhat atrophied in humans since they have not used it in so long. so most humans would not be as skilled in magic as vampires will be due to the increased difficulty and the short life spans. Character Limits: As of now I will be limiting characters to 3 characters per a person max that can be distributed however you want. This will allow people to have one of each (1 werewolf, 1 vampire, and 1 Human) or they can use these slots however they wish. As such I plan to remove any extra characters or inactive characters as well. Possible Discord?: I don't know if I plan on making a discord related to the Lost Fantasy world. At least for now If I make one it will be primarily used for anyone who is aiding me in the construction of the world and it's lore. If anyone is interested they can ask if they could help and I may need to see maybe an example of their writing and works to consider them. If I do make a public discord in the future (A big if since right now the group is somewhat small and I don't think it will grow much larger at least on Ecchidreams,) then I will post that as well. Basically the thought has come up but it is not even remotely necessary at this time. Any suggestions will also be appreciated. And if there is a question feel free to ask me. I obviously don't have everything thought out just yet, but I will try to answer the question if possible. And sometimes just asking will cause me to think of an answer. That answer may get tweaked but it will be a general idea of where I want to go with that.

I plan on making an announcement later about the future of this rp. Ao I reccommend people be following the announcements for when i finish typing it up and when its posted.

Also anyone who is inactive I will be removing their characters from play. I haven't decided if I will remove the players from the group itself just yet because if they become active again then I can let them pick up their character again. Also I am considering maybe putting a limit on characters as in the case of some individuals it seems that they took on too many characters and then were unable to upkeep them all. I know alot of this was due to rp lock. So I might have to decide on a way to free up characters who are in rp lock. Any suggestions would be helpful.
