A loud uproar of cheer erupted from nearby as one of the members of the sky-hawk, the Red Oni woman named Aiya, was engaged in a competition. However this was no ordinary competition of strength or wit. This was one in which they saw who could hold their liquor better. Across the table from her was a tiefling male. A species that had some similarities in appearance to her own. However dispite the large horned man's confidence in himself she knew that tieflings had a similar constitution to humans. Thus she felt she definately had an advantage being an Oni and a pure blood oni too at that. The crowd in their little corner chanted "chug" repeatedly as the two of them lifted up their steins of ale and began gulping down the alcoholic brew. As the ale hit her tongue Aiya could easily tell it was cheap based off of how much it tasted like what one would image dog piss to taste like. However despite the less then pleasurable taste she pressed on in her endeavor to win. As she had money on the line as well as reputation. As she guzzled the liquid down she would raise her stein more and more to allow more of the liquid to pour into her mouth. Already her vision and balance had been slightly affected by the copious amounts of drink, and she sloppily place the empty stein down next to the others that she had finished earlier in the challenge. The Broad Tiefling man also finished his and put his empty mug down. His balance was a bit more unstable than hers. Also his face looked sick like he was going to throw up at any moment. the mugs decorating the table suggested they were 14 to 14 tied. Aiya grabbed the next one in unison with her opponant and they began to chug their drinks. However the tiefling had more than his fill and ended up spitting some out into his own face before turning and hurling onto the floor. Then losing his balance he fell off his chair. Mixed cheers and disgrunted groans filled the air as money began to be exchanged. Even though she won the competition she did not feel like a winner with how dizzy and liht headed she was once she finished the drink. she grabbed her money, and she clumsily made her way to the table where her captain is. She could barely stand up and she almost fell over as she sat in a chair near the captain.

So since you said skyhawk crew starts in the pub is it alright if I intro my character there?

Small amount of fire resistance. Personality: Aiya is a very athletic and tough person. She enjoys doing work outs and usually tries to solve her problems using brute physical force. While she usually acts more playful and coy she can quickly become stern and hotheaded when annoyed or experiancing discomfort. She echibits a dependance on multiple substances such as alcohol and smoking herbs that usually would be commonly reserved for potion making but give a high when the fumes are inhaled. When under the influence of substances she usually is much more open and blunt about her feelings, opinions, and her sexuality. Sometimes even giving in to lewd behavior while under the influence. Such dependancies can have a negative affect such as making her grumpy and irritable when she does not have access to these items. Appearance: Aiya appears as a demon woman who stands at 170 cm (5'7") in height. She has bright red skin and silver hair. Her hair is shoulder length and is wavy with curls at the ends. On her head she has two horns that start red like her skin color but fade into a black coloration near the tip of the horns. Aiya also has pointed ears similar to an elf, in which she has 3 piercings on each ear. Her eyes are crimson in color with black sclera. On her fave she has some freckles but they are difficult to spot normally unless if inspecting her face up close and personal. On her neck and chest she has a tattoo that does not have any specific meaning as she got it cause it looked "fire". The flesh for Aiya's nipples, genitals, and anus are a darker shade of red, and her nipples are pierced with silver colored barbell piercings. Her breasts are D cup in size and Aiya does not have body hair on her. On Aiya's back there is a scar of tjree large claw marks she recieve in a fight with a drake that attacked a cargo ship she was a crew member on. Aiya's body is slender and muscularly toned due to having to often move heavy cargo. Aiya has black colored finger and toe nails that grow in sharp and almost claw like. History: Aiya is a demon woman who was born of the Red Oni tribe of demons. She was born to Jiro and Orella Yamamoto as their first born daughter. A family of noble position in the demon culture. She grew up mostly comfortable. However despite this comfortable life she yearned for adventure. When she was 14 she deemed herself worthy to go out on her own and live a life of adventure. At first she was more of a drifter who would work odd jobs. But the harshness of that life struck her hard and she decided to choose a life with a more steady wage but would still allow her to travel. That is how she came to start working on airships, more specifically cargo ships. During one particular trip her airship was attacked by a wandering drake which was unusually close to civilization. During that battle the drake clawed her back giving her a nasty scar. The result of the attack caused the cargo ship to crash on a nesrby island. Thankfully they were rescued only a few hours later after the drake flew off. However once she got older she developed a bad habit of excessive drinking and with it the occasional rowdiness and lewd behavior when drunk. This was distasteful to most captains as alot of the cargo ships worked in hand with the military and often expected the crew to have the manners of a military officer. As such she would often work for a few months before being kicked off the crew. Thus she jumped around from ship to ship until after a few years she eventually found herself in the employ of the independant Sky-Hawk. Here she was accepted despite her personality quirks and had been a member of the crew ever since her initial employment on the ship.

So i am going with an Red Oni demon (usually they have super human physical strength. Basically she hits harder and can lift more than one would think she can.) What position in the crew do you think she would have. Idk if anything in particular would need extra strength like that.

Lol didnt realize that is also the back story for the captain xD Well I guess that will just be something they have in common.

Actually looking at the plots I will do something different. I will do a demon girl who is a crew member of the skyhawk. The daughter of a noble demon family who gave up the comfy life for a life of adventure.

@BusterbugsWould there be any reason to hide the fact she is half demon?

I mean the least humanoid are the baphomets which are half man half goat like the minotaurs. And for baku probably a humanoid substitue would work. I assume it would be alright for her to have abilities that come typical to her demon subspecies.

Ah so typical demon stuff. So basically i can do almost anything appearance wise and it would work.

I think i will go with half demon. But I have some questions. Is there any unique traits for a demons appearance. (I csnt find the race list anymore. Like is it just the typical stuff devils, imps, concubbi, oni, ifrit, baku, and what not.) Plus also how would people be able to tell who is a beastman unless if they shift in front of someone. Cause based off of the refs they look exactly like humans.

Like do I want half elf, half demon, half beastman, or something else

Omg i cant decide what to do for my character I keep flip flopping between ideas.

@Busterbugs So I was thinking of setting up a royalty character if thats alright. More specifically a princess. May I ask if we are allow to use any species? or is there a limit on species that can be used for the royal family. Cause I ammildly considering a halfbreed princess but I want to know what I can work with.

Well it more or less never took off. People introed and a lil rping happened but it died off shortly after.

So I was thinking of rebuilding this with a slightly different plot then what we have, and maybe scaling down the massiveness of the environment. as it seems apparent when people have an open ended rp, instead of allowing them to be creative and do almost anything they want it seems they most commonly just do nothing at all. So my Plans are as the following goes: - Cut down the scale of the ship: instead of a planets population maybe just have a couple thousand at most. like a small township in size. This will also reduce need for npc's as many people suggested the current scale would require a massive amount of npcs which I nor anyone else would have the capability to up keep. - Change the plot: The current plot is much more open ended and seems that it doesn't engage people enough. I will make a new plot to have a more straight forward objective. - Define a specific set of species: Allowing anyone to create any species they wanted created too much variation and most people would just use a new species instead of picking human or an existing species. So in the new updated rp there will be a specific set of species so that the population of each species can be built up a bit more. Some species from this iteration of the club will be carried over. - Events: I had originally planned for there to be events in this rp. That will still be the case but I plan to have events be more in number than what I originally planned. - change the way that the club is structured (maybe): I am toying with the idea of having the rp structure differently. Instead of having a bunch of topics representing each area I am thinking of having a main rp segment and allowing people to create offshoot rp segments for interactions between characters. I will post a reference topic that will show the basic areas of the ship with reference photos of what it would look like so people can have the same information to refer to. Now I will go over the new storyline that I will propose. New name: Origin Point Zero Story: Throughout history on worlds with intelligent life there has always been stories of ones disappearing from the world via abduction from off-world life-forms. While usually these claims get brushed off as insanity, these claims have been true. An alien species called the U'vahn (pronounced as oo-phon). They have been kidnapping people from various planets and using them as slaves to build up their own infrastructure. The U'vahn were brutal and would abuse their slaves sometimes beating some to death. However after many generations of living under oppression the ones born on the U'vahn home world eventually grew up without knowledge of their original homeworlds only hearing tales of it through word of mouth from their elders. Eventually the slaves had enough and rose up and pushed back the U'vahn and stole a set of U'vahn battle cruisers. With the stolen ships the previously enslaved culture set out to find the homeworlds they had heard so much about from their elders, the origin points (the ship in this rp is set for earth so all members on it either are human, alien human hybrids, or aliens who chose they want to live on earth instead of the other worlds of rumor). There will be dangers though, as the U'vahn will be pursuing the stolen ships as well as there being other possible hostile entities. the way that these refugees would defend themselves would be through use of dog fighter ships and a set of Mech suits that the U'vahn have used for space combat.
