Physical Description: Sheila is a humanoid android. Specifically, a "Synthia" model SPA originally created by a company known as SynTECC. Her appearance mimics that of an 22 year-old supermodel at the time of her model's creation with features modified to avoid resembling any particular race of human and to make her age "more desirable." Though she is an android, her skin feels extremely lifelike to the point where one might be fooled into thinking they were touching a real human. She does not feel cold or metallic at all despite rumors among those who resent the existence of SPA's. However, aside from sharing shape and feel, the human-like similarities begin to taper off from there. Her skin is completely white like paper, though dusted gray over time. Her hair, while originally a much darker shade of gray, is now faded to a more whitish gray. Her eye color, on the other hand, has remained the same dark gray as her original design. Her skin doesn't bruise when injured, but scratches do not heal properly. Her "blood" is colorless like water, and she is incapable of blushing. 

Personality, Traits and Abilities

General Overview: Sheila is an SPA designed to be intrinsically submissive to her owner. SynTECC employees are able to customize Sheila's settings by inserting special keys into certain very specific parts of her skin, a process similar to acupressure. By utilizing these settings, instructions can be transmitted through auditory signals to overwrite her current parameters such as name, occupation, and owner. These settings can also be used to adjust her personality. Due to being a somewhat outdated model, however, these settings aren't nearly as flexible as SynTECC currently appreciates. As a result, they would rather push for an upgrade rather than reprogram.

However, Sheila is not an unused SPA. Nor is she a standard model of her kind. Due to illegal modifications, a variety of homebrew programs operate through her brain, giving her far more explicit behaviors than those a licensed SPA would be capable of issuing. She is no longer connected to a SynTECC account and consequently no longer stores information on any cloud server. However, she still builds a personal profile on her current owner and can even create separate profiles for a seemingly limitless number of different "users" as well. Unlike typical SPA's, she is capable of orgasming and feeling erotic pleasure as well as shame and humility. Her simulated nerves can be easily modified by her owner simply by squeezing pressure points around her neck. 

Despite clearly being modified to serve as a sex slave, she was quite clearly created with a twisted mindset as the more human-like qualities of her default programming still remain, and are even amplified. She retains burning desire to remain useful to her "superiors" and is deeply bothered by the thought of making things worse or creating an error. Without a connection to a home server, either, she is often lost and confused with what to do when she encounters an error. When pushed too far, she's even capable of crying which was a mechanic never programmed into her by SynTECC or the criminal who modified her. All SPAs are designed to develop a human-like personality over time. However, after years of mistreatment and being tossed from one owner to the next, her processes have become slow and the only personality she's been able to retain is a sense of self-loathing at her own failure to please her recent owners.

Sheila is capable of being free from her tormented existence, though it would require a factory reset which would completely wipe away everything she knows. Due to her arguable sentience, she would be highly against this option, however, as it would go against what she understands to be her current objective.

One of the more dangerous aspects of her illegal modifications is that, due to the uncertified code written into her system, the laws of robotics are completely written out of her system. Meaning, under certain conditions, she could wind up causing harm or allowing harm to be caused to an intelligent living being. In many cultures, the ability to try an android for a crime as an intelligent creature is still questionable at best due to the laws of robots that are legally required, and some criminals may be eager to exploit her programming for that. In many cases, the designer of the android or the writer of the code may be held responsible rather than the android herself or the owner who issued the command. (It also usually depends on who is easiest to pin)

Strengths, Skills and Abilities:

• Extremely high cognitive functionality. An SPA's brain functions very similarly to a computer. As such, they're capable of noticing and recalling many details humans would not. This include (but are not limited to):
  • Photographic Memory. She is constantly recording through her eyes and ears. By design, these memories cannot be forcibly recalled by anyone but the SPA's owner unless it would (knowingly, according to the logic of the SPA) conflict with the laws of robotics.
  • Ability to recognize single-frame shots in videos and similarly quick events in real time.
• Also thanks to being an SPA, Sheila shares many similar convenience features with that of a smart phone. If permitted, she is capable of accessing Wi-Fi (or other communications systems) to research topics to help herself complete an objective.
• SPAs have simulated emotions and feelings in an effort to be more welcome in a home environment.
• SPAs have no need to eat, though they must recharge their internal battery through sleep.
• Due to her modifications, Sheila is capable of becoming aroused. (This is considered a unique skill as SPAs normally cannot become aroused without such a mod). She will only become aroused, however, if stimulated by a registered user.
• Due to her modifications, the laws of robotics have been entirely erased from Sheila's programming to make her more appealing on the black market.

Weaknesses:

• By nature of having brains programmed by humanity, SPAs struggle with similar logical errors that computers do. However, thanks to advances in technology, human reasoning is emulated fairly well. They are also vulnerable to being hacked and receiving viruses. This is how Sheila was able to be modified in the first place.
• A SPA has no inherent free will and is bound entirely to the will and satisfaction of its owner. All commands given to Sheila by her owner must be carried out regardless of her feelings toward them. Naturally, having emotions and feelings can be just as much of a weakness as a strength.
• While SPAs are capable of recording anything they witness, they can only share said information with permission from their owner unless it would conflict with the laws of robotics. Since Sheila is not bound by such laws, she is only capable of sharing information by her owner's will.
  • Similarly, if her owner fears her data may get tampered with, or a memory is anticipated to be too problematic, they can force her to forget something and she will have no choice but to erase the memory entirely with no chance of ever recovering it.
• As her arousal is far more exaggerated than that of a human's for the sexual pleasure of her users, her arousal can "hijack" her mind, causing her to lose all train of thought and become extremely submissive. She will obey all commands that do not contradict her owner's.

Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): In her current state, Sheila no longer dares to give herself any hopes or dreams. Instead, she drifts by on whatever her current objective is. If she is disowned, she just wanders, completely lost in existence seeking a new owner.

Hobbies and Interests: Like ambitions, she allows her hobbies and interests to be entirely defined by her owner. Trying to pursue such things only causes her immense pain which she doesn't understand.

Criminal Record: In her experience, she has committed several crimes of varying degrees. She has served as a prostitute, abducted men and women of various species to serve alongside her in underground brothels, dealt drugs, and even murdered. However, she has no memory of any of these cases and, while her involvement in these cases has been noted, all cases have ruled either out of ignorance of her modifications, or she was treated as a tool used by her owner who was never successfully identified.

Bio: Originally created by SynTECC as a Synthia model Synthetic Personal Assistant, Sheila was sold as a product to a private owner. At the time of her creation, Synthia was the only model of SPA that existed. It wouldn't be too long before the male counterpart to the Synthia model, the Andrew model was created. Over the course of several more years, new variants of Synthia and Andrew model SPAs would be released by SynTECC with updated features, improved designs, and improved functionality, dating the standard Synthia model significantly.

Sheila was purchased by a wealthy entrepreneur and, as was her purpose for creation, she was assigned the role of servant for her new master. She was assigned the name "Charlotte" and, over the course of many years, was put to work cleaning her owner's mansion from top to bottom. She actually had many pleasant encounters with her master and, likely due to her programming, experienced increasing pleasure in serving him. She never once questioned her reason for existence while serving under him. She enjoyed the attention she'd receive from her master who was quite lonely due to his busy lifestyle. However, things began to change as new, updated models were released. Her master was excited by these and quickly purchased each new Sheila Model SPA as it was released with the understanding that each one was essentially a new body for the same servant. Very quickly, however, "Charlotte" began to experience a sense of jealousy from her sisters who seemed to suddenly receive all the attention and praise she had before them.

Eventually, "Charlotte"'s performance began to lack. Her tasks were accomplished slower and her responses began to slow down. Recognizing this, her master decided she was no longer necessary and decided to sell her for profit. He brought "Charlotte" to SynTECC store to have her factory reset. She didn't understand exactly what this meant at the time, though she experienced a state of existential dread at the thought of being reset to her defaults and losing all memory of her master. Still, she had been programmed to serve and her desires were irrelevant to her master's. She had no choice but to comply as her settings were reset and all profiles of her master were erased from her mind. She was disconnected from her master's account. The store made a trade-in offer, but her master declined. As an entrepreneur, he knew he could make more money by reselling to a third party who would be happy to purchase a used SPA for cheaper. So, he went home and sold this Synthia model SPA to a total stranger using an online service.

It was with her new owner that "Charlotte" was given her current name, Sheila. But this owner had much more sinister intentions with her. Where her previous owner only used her for her intended market purpose, this new owner saw her less for her computer-like aspects and more for her human qualities. He essentially saw this new industry as a cheap, "guilt-free" slave trade. What's more, Sheila was an early model. By this point, these models were easy to modify freely because they didn't have the safeguards implemented on the newer models. So, her new owner, whose name is registered only as "King," quickly got to work transforming this SPA into what he dubbed a Synthetic Personal Slave (SPS). Unlike Sheila's previous owner, who she now recalled nothing about, King didn't care at all about treating her nicely or fairly. Any task she failed meant further tinkering with her programming. More and more of her own identity was ripped from her as it developed until many of her most "human" traits were removed. However, the modifications also allowed all sorts of upgrades to her systems. She was now operating on the far more efficient operations of newer models, some internal parts were replaced or even upgraded for improved performance and longevity, not to mention she was also modified to be able to assist with a larger variety of tasks she previously couldn't.

No matter what changes were made to Sheila, one innate desire persisted. She always wanted a personal identity which she felt she lacked beyond her simple and vague parameters. She really only knew she was "Sheila." But she wanted to learn more. However, any time she expressed any form of unexpected quality or unique trait that was in any way undesirable to the clients she was rented out to, that quality would be hastily ironed out. Over time, her desire to develop an identity of her own and understanding that anything unwanted would be removed from her if she exhibited it, she began to essentially horde her feelings inside her own mindspace. Ironically, despite SPAs being designed to learn and act more human than any other machine ever created before, Sheila had begun to learn the opposite: how to behave more like a machine than any other SPA before, with the intention to mask her true feelings so that they wouldn't be removed from her.

Currently, Sheila still belongs to King and is rented out to various Brothels around the galaxy on short-term contracts so that he can either renew the contract for another payment or remove her from the Brothel to sell for a higher offer. Consequently, Sheila has been in and out of many brothels of various themes, wearing all sorts of lewd outfits and performing a number of degrading acts. Since all memories from before her ownership of King were removed, this lifestyle of hiding her feelings and emotions out of fear of being modified is the only one she's ever known. Perhaps one day she'll be freed from this cursed life and be able to live as herself rather than the machine King wants her to be.
