Any Metroid fans out there? I don't know why, but I've been having the series on my brain a lot lately. (And I totally didn't have the recent epiphany that the reason I like Samus so much is because I'm bi and she's hot af lol)

I probably spent as many years single and dating/hooking up the younger people here have been alive. I both hated and loved that time, and even though I always felt empty, I never allowed any of those intimate pairings to turn into more.
