  1. Guilty. Something about this place or the inhabitants here encourages a reckless honesty in me, and I've connected with a couple people to a level I didn't expect. They might just think I'm crazy, and that's fine. It's a fair assessment. But I hope I'm providing some goodness back that people can take away into the rest of their lives. The next person has sung out loud in the last week (not humming or quiet, whisper singing)

  2. Mitsuko was not the first involved to make such a comparison. To a degree, it was a good one, though the stakes were much higher and the comparison was more difficult to make in some areas than others. “We are lucky to have a relatively quiet area. Some are worse than others. Of course sometimes one team helps another if it seems necessary and one is free. That’s how I got sometimes involved with Alexandrine and her old team. Of course there are surprises, you can’t things lightly. Alexandrine’s old team did not ask for help in that last fight, none of them thought it would go so badly.” That was the prime example of how dangerous thi

  3. Chapter One - The Easter Surprise Part 2 At first, the dream was just warmth. A sun that didn’t burn, a wind that smelled like lilacs and sounded like laughter, a distant sound of bells or flutes or maybe just a different kind of laughter… it didn’t matter. She was lying on grass that felt like velvet, her bunny ears fluttering in a breeze that kissed her bare skin. Someone… was it a woman? …whoever it was, someone was tracing her shoulder with fingertips like silk ribbons. Someone else whispered to her in a voice like honey, promising nothing she had to earn, only pleasures offered freely, lovingly. She turned her head and saw fa

  4. Just as Kari opened the door an older man was right at the front of it. He seemed... The stubborn type, the kind that asks too many questions and could annoy Toshiro. What a drag. Toshiro bowed slightly toward the father in an act of politeness, entering when Kari's father moved out of the way and removing his shoes at the front door. But by the end of it all the intense young man knew that this individual was only protective of it own daughter. Toshiro followed Kari through the interior, observing how clean and orderly his own home was. How nice. He didn't have much for questions except for one, "How long have you been in this city for

  5. Mitsuko nodded as she understood a little more how it worked. "Just like in a game, then... Well, I know this is no game but I will do my best to handle my sword. To think I may fight real demons.", she said with a certain share of excitement. Shinigami went on and did her best to wash Jumi as she listened. "And if things go wrong, you have me around...", the fox added, not without a smirk. There was a thing that Mitsuko was curious about, however. "Yes, Shinigami... You will be with us, I insist. But... How strong are you now? You looked quite scary back at the convention.", she risked asking. The question did not seem to please the fox but

  6. ((It's alright I'm patient. Ask anyone I roleplay with.)) Kari smiled. "I see I guess to each their own and please forgive my father if he asks to many questions and is overprotective of me." She sighed as they reached the house and dojo. She began to open the door as her father opened it first. "Where have you been young lady and...." He stopped mid sentence and looked over at Toshiro. "And who is this. You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend." He said as Kari felt herself shrink. "Dad...please he helped me on way home and I wish to have tea with him. Can we not turn away another person." She asked as her father crossed his arms. "I

  8. Chapter One - The Easter Surprise Part 4 The knock came a few minutes later, soft, lazy. “Bun? Hey. Come on. I told them to leave.” His voice was slurred at the edges. She didn’t answer. Just lay still, eyes burning, mascara running, leaving marks on her pillow. The door creaked open. Brandon leaned in the doorway, still holding a beer, almost like it was a shield. He gave her a half-smile, the kind he used to get flirt with waitresses and get out of parking tickets. “It was a joke, babe. You know how they are. I didn’t mean anything.” Bunny turned her face away but otherwise didn’t move. “You looked hot,”
