I think perhaps one of the biggest issues might have been how much you appeared to be against the rules as a whole. You were quite vocal about not playing around with highlighted stats that were weaker (or perhaps just the Weird stat?), which sure is fine on its own but honestly it would be a little disheartening for me to hear that if I were running the game.
