I also think various factions of the world will not exactly see eye to eye. This is why Hellhound is not exactly friend with demons. She is not one, per ce. Shinigami is a death born fox beast and also is not all friendly with demons. But add aliens to that, it will put another force trying to take control with or without demons. The enemy factions will tear each others or something, realistically. It can probably be for any reasons. To seize control, to overpower, to dominate, to govern, to invade and devastate. Certainly a fair point then! Maybe I'll take a Super Robot Wars-esque approach to it and have Souji be someone who has/had problems with another faction entirely before coming to the story here, bribgin him into potential interaction with other elements here. Gives me time to slowly flesh out the other side of things incase I want to bring it up here later on.

Still don’t know where the aliens will end up. Inactive characters may or may not do their own thing later on. The new idea I’m considering would be its own thing too. The basic idea of the club was people had a world to work with. There could be characters doing unrelated things far away, though so far most stuff has been pretty connected.

I doubt they would get chased since, as magical as we are, none probably have the power to jump to space. But yes, I also doubt that someone will just visit for fun. A hostile first visit seems fine. It will give any earthling characters the chance to develop as well. Btw, I am not rushing to push any idea on that regard. it's just my excitement speaking. I might wait to give someone the chance to do something. I might still poke at the idea later but I feel like I have a good cast of weird characters as it is. Also, androids could be a thing.

See where it goes. Earth will remain the focus. Off planet more as an option to establish the aliens and maybe some fighting. Though the idea right now is it will just be a small force that gets sent to Earth. Not friendly on arrival, but have to see what ultimately happens to them. Not the first alien invasion force to be fought off by Magical Girls & Knights. But see whether defeat means retreating to their world or something else. If they retreat, whether they get chased or not.

I started a story with my own alien, just because I had time on my hands and felt inspired yesterday. A man vs. machine theme for her background. Introduced a background of her running from the Machine Empire. Memorial day had me in the mood for tragedy, not sure it's even going anywhere, but I wanted to write. Depends how Vengeful Exzel feels, and if anyone trusts her enough to go through a portal with her, I suppose. I mean, if we want to leave the planet, I can very well do this. I am all for crazy concepts. I wouldn't exactly go dragonball route but highly powered alien races seeing humans like something to dominate is not too far fetched. The issue is, as I said, there is no way that everyone will be enemies at this point. At first, it was more like a kind of "Humans are the only friends", hence making my characters the only real exceptions because I like to toy around things a bit. But with alien worlds as well? It is becoming unavoidable.

Speaking of new characters. That is the other possibility. We have some playing going on the demon world, alien worlds can be looked at too. It is possible the aliens could start on their world making the preparations, if someone makes a character connected to them. Plenty of other races under the empire, so freedom there. Also a possibility of a human or two going through an alien abduction and being interrogated before they leave for Earth.

The truth to that question is out there, or will be when I decide. Might wait a bit to see where the major stories go, after the Shinigami bunch finish their current night and its aftermath, and after the other bunch get Catherine away from Azreal and figure out how they are going to do things. My guess is Emiri is probably sticking to the current flashback and the idea I just suggested for now. Though she is free to slip into Wanderers if she wants.

I realized one other character that might make an appearance in that story would be Jumi. But she would be an infrequent cameo, established as a sometime ally of Alexandrine’s old team. She would be an occasional help in a fight or some casual scenes. But back in this period, she would be young enough that she would not be around for any sex scenes. The idea might not start getting played for a while. Will give people time to think about it/ask questions/etc before any characters get made or starting too play it.

To be fair, Hellhound is still a hell beast in the world so any magical heroes noticing her miiight lead to trouble. Pretty much everyone was together at the convention, but yeah that came to end. Unfortunately dropping the plot around Chiyako’s Emi, almost every remaining active character has split into one of two major stories. Either the bunch around Shinigami or around the character that inspired the club, my veteran Magical Girl, Alexandrine (which could also be said to be a group around Balthier’s Exzel). Have a few other characters split into smaller one on one stories. Do have another possible idea that people might be able to jump into if they want, but will wait until I work out the details with the other key participant in that idea.

Well, even if the characters forget, at least we as writers can see more sides of her in the other topics! I can't say I see her as a monster (my goofy ass liking furry/anthro characters naturally), but I suppose I can't speak for what characters might see. I suppose many would want to try to avoid her given what she makes use of, and characters that can't really moderate themselves might find themselves on the wrong end of her abilities. : p

Shinigami is a lot like a schrodinger beast. She was there in the convention but only to those who "observed" her. And I almost want to make this canon XD She is a beast of void with almost too complex birth, existence and reasons of being around (But we can also call it bad storytelling and it was my fault in big part. Trying to fix her slowly) But yes, she was a big deal in the convention but due to the flow of time and space, she is probably already "forgotten" except for by those who are close around her. The further you are from her, the more you will forget about her quickly. (This is not directly canon but my mind is having fun).

The curse of your creativity, for sure. You could have tons and tons of character ideas, and usually are paralyzed by the choice possibilities/potential. : p That being said, It's no surprise some of those ideas can't really show themselves as much given what I remember of the rule changes. I need to try and follow the lore buildups in the city threads, but the last thread I looked through for that was the... Uh, the magical girl convention? Don't think that one flowed too well toward the later parts of the thread. x.x

I have so many characters out there but still waiting for replies. x.x Some characters I've put before like Delphinium who probably won't appear, though. I'm all for loli characters but right now, the setting is a bit difficult on that. We've built up some nice character lores in the cities so far, though. All we need is more character interactions.

Definitely makes sense. While I didn't plan alien threats with my guy character, I know I had some other extradimensional threats that were meant to be a thing. Although the person I was working on the character ideas with doesn't come around here anymore, so I'm probably gonna have to either work on something new, or else go with the old idea and don't run as far with it. I still need to dip my toe into this game properly though.

Yeah, I figure this Earth has had its share of a mix of demon, monster and alien attacks over the years. Monsters are a bit of a vague idea still, but distinct from demons. Some monsters probably native to Earth, but some could also come from the demon world, or other worlds.
