The kingdom had been under siege at night from an unknown creature, livestock and supplies missing randomly throughout the past month. This time, after a prized cow was found torn apart by the farmers who owned it, something was finally to be done. Therefore, word was sent to the castle resting atop a small hill in the center of the kingdom to address the matter.
About a week passed, and then the large wooden doors of the castle at the center of the kingdom burst open as guards shuffled into the main hall. Clad in armor, the banging of their movement echoed throughout, and being towed in with rope and prodding sticks, was a large furred beast standing just a bit taller than most of the horses stabled nearby. Gasps erupted as servants and those in the castle bore witness to the chaos ensuing.
“Get some royalty down here now! Or someone who has an idea what we do with this thing!” The commanding knight yells out, another guard running down the hall to do just that. Meanwhile the beast sent another guard flying into a wall nearby, his gasp for air as he collided sending worry to the rest of his companions. This creature seemed unworried though, continuing to twist and thrash against its binds.
