story and smut [ F4M ] avatar : the last airbender ——

what's that ? another idea ?
HELL YEAH !

this is an idea i've been having for a very long time, but i've never been able to find a partner who's interested in it because of its potentially taboo nature. the story is based on the canon avatar : the last airbender universe, prior to firelord ozai's downfall. i was thinking it takes place after book one, where katara is already a waterbending master. yes, one party involved is katara, who i will be playing as after not having touched that muse for ... literal years. i'm looking for someone to write firelord ozai in a slow burn and romantic setting that develops from intense hatred to love that makes zero sense to anyone but the two of them. i'm expecting a good amount of angst, potential manipulation and eventual smut with a virgin character. the smut will probably be mostly vanilla at first, but we can introduce some kinks in the process. to be honest, i'm more interested in the romantic development and angst between them. probably the political barriers of their relationship as well, seeing as katara is basically a watertribe peasant and ozai is the firelord. there's also the fact that the fire nation murdered katara's mother, but if she can forgive zuko, she can forgive ozai as well. perhaps and eventually.

this is the story i had in mind : basically, ozai disguises himself and goes out to get a drink at a pub in the capital. at that time, the gaang is there and they get separated. katara finds herself in the same pub as ozai and approaches him to ask for directions, pretending she's from the colonies in the earth kingdom. ozai takes an immediate interest in her and invites her for a drink, which katara hesitantly accepts. they have a chat and enjoy themselves and the disguised ozai requests to see her again the following night at the same pub. katara agrees because she's charmed by the interest he shows her. the only men who have ever been interested in her were jet, who turned out to be a jackass, and aang. who's way too young for her. she has no idea that behind the charm hides a monster. i'm thinking they meet quite a few times and katara falls for him entirely, so she sleeps with him and although they're not an official couple because ozai never asks her out, she's faithful to him. the gaang then stumbles into a festival, where the firelord shows up and katara is horrified when she recognises the man she's been in love with is, in fact, firelord ozai. despite all that, she loves him. so she finds a way to approach him and demand explanations. i haven't thought further than that, but the end game is ozai falling for her as well and the two of them getting married. i'm not sure about how the war would end in that case. perhaps a redemption arc, or a bad ending where the world burns down because of ozai and because katara is too brainwashed by her love to not defend him.

as you may have guessed, katara will be 18 in this au. i might agree to lower her age to 16+, but don't bet on it. i'm looking for a long term roleplay, with alot of angst and hurt. i write in third person, past tense and like my replies on the lengthier side ( 3+ paragraphs ).
