  1. What's new in this club
  2. Jayce is not fully happy about doing favours for free, but if this can help him have a foot in with her and thus able to form a contract with this human, then why not? After all, it can likely become a lot of fun for him and with many pranks ahead of him."Allright. Very easily done indeed, but I will only give it to you when agree to my terms. Don't worry...I won't ask you for mad stuff like your first born or anything like that. No no...I just want to have a fun time here in your plane and that's it", he tells her without any ounce of deceit or fast talk."Give me...hmmmm...aboooout...15 minutes or so", he says whilst he makes up an impromtu idea. Of course, he has no idea to fear any authorities, if he even knows what those are anyway. The little spirit vanishes from sight and about 11 minutes he appears once more with the said item."Easy peasy...", he says with a cocky tone.
  3. Location: Just south of Shangul, along the river. That was a rather broad question that he asked, and deep down Claire doubted that he would be able to really do anything other than the fancy little trick that he had shown her earlier. She didn’t answer as she gripped onto the saddle of her horse and pulled herself up, sitting like a man. If anyone saw her, and realised that she was a woman, they would be scandalised. She nudged the stupid animal forwards, heading onto the road before turning and heading back towards the city of Shangul. After a few moments she then said, “There’s a High born lady back in Shangul. Married to a very wealthy man. She has a jewelled necklace that she is very proud of. If you get that, and bring it to be, I might actually believe you.”
  4. 'Oooooh, a human with either a huge ego or massive pride. Definitely something I can have fun with', the little jackal spirit thinks to himself and does his best not to grin widely from ear to ear. He can tell he is getting closer and closer to working out some way where they can mutually benefit from each other, though in a way she probably she has no clue of yet. It finally does seem like there is some way he can show his worth to her as she asks what he is able to do."Oooooh, there are so many things I am able to do - it depends on your needs most often. It would take me half a day to show you only a bit of it. What is it that you need done?", he asks, trying to home in on this and get more information. All the while, he keeps himself seated onto her shoulders, with his tail swishing around lazily.
  5. Location: Just south of Shangul, along the river. “I never give up on a heist.” Claire said, feeling a little irritated by the question. It was a point of pride that she had never given up on a job. She was very stubborn, and thus baulked at giving up on a heist. She was also very careful, and ensured that she studied her targets to make sure that there were no unexpected surprises. His question about the ones she would be unable to do, made her pause for thought. There were a few that she couldn’t do. Like bank coaches. Those were far too heavily armed for her to take on, on herself, “Oh yeah? And what help can you provide, exactly?” She asked, not answering his questions verbally. They had reached the area where she had stashed her horse and began to untie him from the tree.
  6. Location: Outskirts of Kvor. Victor found himself a nice spot that was up against a cliff edge that would protect him from the stiff breeze and it was tall enough that other predators wouldn’t jump down on top of his head. He let out a soft whistle, telling Fenni to remain in the area. He then dismounted from Cherry, and began to unload by taking off the cougar bodies before removing the saddle and most of the bridle but kept the part wrapped around the bottom of Cherry’s face. He then tied the rope to a piece of log to get her to remain where she was. He then fed and watered her. Once she was settled, he went about making the camp. He gathered sticks and made a small area for his campfire before rolling out his bedroll for the night. He then sat himself down on his bedroll, with Fenni settling himself next to him. He then cooked himself a simple stew before he fed himself and Fenni for the night. Once he was full, he remained awake for a while, staring into the fore that bathed him in its warmth. He figured that he could stay in Kvor for a few weeks before moving on. He needed money, and if they had other things they needed hunting then it might be a good source. He also might be able to help the local ranchers move their cattle. Fenni, being a well trained wolfdog, would absolutely be helpful in this regard. Bear was also part of the reason he decided he wanted to linger. It had been a long time since he had even had a friend. He was a good man, Victor could certainly see that, if a little blunt. But Victor did appreciate those qualities. He felt it would genuinely sadden him when he was forced to move on, but Victor couldn’t risk lingering for far too long. He glanced up at the stars before he removed his boots and wriggled himself underneath his bedroll covers. He felt Fenni settle against him before he relaxed himself into sleep, knowing that Fenni was looking out for him.
  7. Bear was talking to a customer who stopped by to get the rifle checked up after it had been jamming lately. He was taking the rifle apart to see what the problem was. He was making sure he didn’t break anything on it. Yamashiro was still fast asleep in the back, the snoring slightly muffled but still clearly audible. He didn't see anything wrong with the barrel but he had a feeling it must have been some kind of part that might have broken in the gun. It did look to be quite old and well used. “I say come back by tomorrow. I’ll have it done by then. It would be best to go stay at the bar until I can fix it.” As the owner of the rifle left, Bear started to take the gun apart to see what was going on with it but he also was cleaning the parts he took apart till he was able to find the broken part. “It's like he has been firing in mud. Proklyatiye. “ He found the firing pin and could see that it was in two pieces and so he took out a box of firing pins and found the right one for that rifle. When he did he then started to place the gun back together making it look better then it was brought into his shop. Once he was he took out a bottle from under his gun case and poured himself a drank for the night knowing it be one of many drinks
  8. Jayce grins once she finally tells him what interests her the most about all of these."Very interesting. Very interesting indeed....is there any heists or jobs you ever had to give up on for one reason or another? Or do you have any ones you think you might be unable to do? I think you underestimate the sort of help I can extend to you - your options can be so much wider, bigger and.....interesting and thrilling too!", the jackal goes on, trying to find some sort of entry way into her plans and what ways he could entice her further. So he keeps looking for ideas on how to form a mutual "bond" between them.
  9. Location: Outskirts of Kvor. Victor followed behind Fenni on Cherry, occasionally glancing at the ground to ensure that they still followed the tracks that had been left by the cougars. Fenni seemed to range ahead, disappearing for moments before becoming visible once again. Victor wasn’t concerned whenever Fenni disappeared from his view. He knew the wolfdog could look after himself and would never run away from him. Towards evening as the sun began to dip down towards the horizon, Fenni came to a stop, his body tense and alert. Victor pulled Cherry to a stop and dismounted. He gently patted her on her shoulder before pulling his rifle from his saddle as he moved as silently as he could to join Fenni. He crouched down, “Where are they, Fenni?” He asked in a quiet voice. Fenni let out a soft whine, looking out through a scraggly busy. Victor followed the pointed nose and he could see the cougar in question, lounging in the sun. Nearby was a smaller one, clearly a cub that was getting close to adulthood. The smaller one was sprawled out and chewing on the remains of some animal. Victor lined up the shot on the mother as Fenni tensed beside him. He took a deep breath, aiming towards the cougar's head. Fenni began to crawl stealthily towards the two targets. Once he was closer to the cub, Victor pulled the trigger and fired at the mother, striking her through the eye. The bang of the rifle reverberated around them causing the cub to begin to flee however Fenni sprung into action and pounced on the cub. The two animals snarled and scrapped with each other but it was hopeless for the cub as Fenni clamped his jaws on the cougars throat and tearing it out, causing the animal to become limp. Victor stood up and moved closer, “Good boy, Fenni.” He said, causing Fenni to look at him and his tail to wag slightly. He slung the rifle over his shoulder before he picked up the mother and slung it over his shoulder. He returned to Cherry, throwing the dead animal over the saddle before he returned for the cub. Once they were secure, he looked up at the disappearing sun and decided to set up camp for the night as it was dangerous to head back in low light.
  10. Location: Just south of Shangul, along the river. Claire rolled her eyes slightly when the strange creature said that one needed imagination in order to get ideas for the biggest scores. She didn’t use imagination for that. She used careful and tactical planning in order to decide what targets to hit and how. She ducked underneath a branch as she continued on, her leather boots making little noise despite the leaves scattered on the ground. She didn’t respond to him for a few moments before she said, “The thrill. I don’t need the money. The richer the target, and the more I can steal, the bigger the thrill.”
  11. Jayce begins to try and concoct an angle where he may lure her into his web of pranks and owing favours."Ah suppos' so. However, without imagination...how will yah ever truly get the ideas for the biggest scores? And that bit of money is nothing compared to what Ah think yah could earn...Ah can do a great many things and not just minor parlour tricks such as conjuring small slivers of sparking gold. Tell me...what is it about this yah like the best? The money? the thrill of it? Getting tah mess with rich people?", the little spirit inquires, trying to find one or even more "Achilles heels" of hers to get into. All the while he keeps sitting on her shoulder.
  12. Location: Just south of Shangul, along the river. “Imagination and wonder?” Claire asked scornfully, “That’s the kind of thing for children. I grew out of that kind of thing a long time ago.” She did however pulled the gun back slightly before sliding it back into her holster before she started walking again, heading back to where she had hidden her horse. As she did so, she responded to his last question, “If you mean fun as in robbing rich idiots of their treasures, then yes I am going to have fun. I’ve already had some today.” She held up the bag of goods that she had already procured that day.
  13. Bear was going on like he normally does inside of his little shop. In the background you can hear snores sound from the back from Yamashiro. It was so loud that some of the passers-by could hear the bear from outside. The Big man had a big cup of coffee on his desk he fixed for himself earlier .
  14. Oh, it wasn't meant to come off as it having to be here and now. Just whenever possible really I do miss my dumb Bruno
  15. I'll look into it if I am feeling it. It's unlikely to be this weekend, though. I have plans for this evening and tomorrow.
  16. If you ever could consider my medieval or postapocalyptic setting, I would be very grateful Feels good to play Jayce again too
  17. That was pretty fun, yes! Dozle and I have a couple that will be doing some very fun adventures. Basically being outlaws and running from authorities
  18. The jackal spirit tries his best not to outward groan and roll his eyes."Oh boy...mortals. Perhaps I need to talk slower? Ah...am....a...spirit. What is so hard to believe about that? Did yah lose all sense of wonder and imagination? Now...do yah want to actually have some fun or do yah just want to be grouchy alllll day?", he says with a miscievous grin planted from ear to ear whilst his tail swishes around behind him.
  19. I think it could be funny if we all three could get characters to act alongside eachj other again. I really liked our wasteland trio from before.
  20. Yeah I've been in a rather creative mood lately and I'm very glad for it.
  21. Very glad to see us getting back into things. I hope YOU have fun as well
  22. Location: Just south of Shangul, along the river. Claire’s eyebrows creased even further when this strange animal continued to talk, making her wonder if the water she had drunk not long ago had something a bit more to it. She kept the gun pointed towards the creature, the weapon holding steady with no hint of a shake. This creature didn’t seem bothered. If anything, they seemed almost amused. At his question regarding a partner, she almost snapped that she didn’t need one, and never had however he seemed to conjure a lump of gold before her very eyes. She was silent for a few moments before she said, “I don’t believe in spirits. That’s the kind of thing village folk believe in to explain their stupidity. So what are you, really?”
  23. Shangul City Shangul is the Capital City in Talvania, the centre of the government that rules over the country. It is the centre of business, commerce, government and the military. It is large and sprawling with wide streets to accomidate the horse carriages that are commonly seen moving between the tall stone and wooden buildings. If you're lucky, and stray into the wealthier parts of the city, you may get a glimpse of some of the new wonders such as vehicles. The City Centre looks impressive and seems to give an image of wealth and elegance. However in the poorer districts, crowded wooden homes are the norms with little food, and poor sanitation. Crime is rife in these areas, and it is unwise to flash your wealth, unless you wish to attract the eyes of criminals. So those who wish to talk the streets of Shangul, beware. All kinds of dangers lurk within its shadows, and not all of them are obvious. Relevant Links: Extra Information Character ID Out of Character
  24. Talvania Talvania has a range of climates that can make travelling across it difficult, especially if one is not prepared. The northern part of the country is more temperate, with the northeast being covered in a lust forest that can hide many dangers. It is the coolest part of the country, with a high humidity that makes it perfect for growing a wide range of crops. To the southeast of the island though, the climate becomes warmer and the lust rainforest gives way to a more dry and arid environment with sparse vegetation. This trend continues for the entire southern edge of the country, with sparse areas of lusher vegetation that make travel difficult due to the rarity of clean water and foragable food. The heart of Talvania however is more akin to the Mojave Desert, making it impassable to all but a few daring travellers. In the Southeastern section of the island is the Southstone Peaks, a range of mountains that is as dangerous as they are beautiful. There are not just dangers from the people and the animals but a force even more ferocious. The weather. Due to the hot climate, combined with the humidity from the north and the cooler air from the mountains, the mixture of different temperatures and pressures breed impressive storms that hover like giant anvils over Talvania’s core. Some of these super cell storms produce unpredictable and powerful tornadoes that make living and travelling through the area dangerous. So, travellers beware. Always watch your back and keep a hand close to your gun. You never know when you will need it. Relevant Links: Extra Information Character ID Out of Character
