  1. What's new in this club
  2. mesmerelda yawns as she traveled towards the front gate, it was still dark out but thanks to years of living underneath the great mountain hold of the goblin king. she hung her great axe off her shoulder as her rifle was kept in its sling on her back.
  3. If aaanyone is interested, I got an Orc Guard Captain available for RP?
  4. The SkyHawk captain nodded as everyone agreed to this, pleased that they did so. Most people would have ran at the mention of the The BlackMist forest, but they all seemed eager to go, Which showed that they had some guts. He glanced at the Goblin as she spoke. “The gem is very rare and the ship I built wasn’t cheap, so it will help pay for things we need for the journey, along with making sure we can work as a group.” He explained. “Now that it is decided, we’ll leave early tomorrow.” He said as he stood.” Let’s meet by the City’s front gate.”
  5. mesmerelda looks between them all. the underground is the home of most Goblins but going after anything left underground is not to be trifled with. "why do you need this gem?" she asks
  6. That caught Ikaski's attention. The Black Mist was a place of extreme danger being home of the Beastmen of course. He's gone against a few way back when and they weren't easy to down, yet the again he was an apprentice in his arts and was still fresh with a blade. No matter! It was the ideal of going somewhere that potentially had rare herbs and ingredients for alchemy as well as the chance to gain insight on the area and an enemy. It was also a way to test out his magic on other non-magical beings- being said they are magical to done extent, they aren't the expert magician or mage. "Very well," Ikaski clasped his hands, from the corner of his eye he noted the Oni undoing her collar which allowed more cleavage however he was no brute and didn't bother to full on look, "It seems we're all up to the task. And I for one am quite eager to get started."
  7. " That sounds like fun to me!" Aiya said in response. In her culture it was always welcomed when an opportunity to test their strength came along. The possibility of having to fight monsters in a dark damp cave sounded like a spar she could not pass up at all. Due to her drunken nature at the moment she started to feel a bit overheated at the moment. She reached up and unclasped the collar of her which allowed a bit more of her clevage to show despite her outfit already having a sizable window showing alot of it already. However she still was not indecently exposed yet by any means. Although it probably wouldnt take much to get her to that point in her current condition.
  8. Thomas smirked at the HobGoblin and Oni going back forth a bit. While it was amusing, it could be a bit of a problem on the ship. Good thing he had a test planned first to judge if it was really going to work for this crew. “You sound very useful and I can assure you that you would have plenty of room and I don’t mind handing over some blood.” He said to the Hobgoblin. “But before I let any of you join my crew I do have a test that you will have to past.” He waited to let that sink in before he continued. “I’m sure you have all heard of BlackMist Forest.” He said.”I want us as a group to go there and retrieve a rare gem that lays deep in the forest in a cave network.” BlackMist was a place crawling with many types of dangerous creatures, the natural magic that rose from the earth making the monsters stronger and faster, sometimes giving rise to crazed mutants. And on top of that it was the home to the BeastMen, a powerful race that could turn into beasts and didn’t show mercy to trespassing. If they could survive the journey while working together, then they would be as prepared as they ever were going to be. “Still want to join?” He asked the three around him, curious about their answers.
  9. OH! Sorry about that but I waited because your post or Blade's didn't really involve Lumina's so don't worry, it's not your character. I just don't know what to do yet. And well, I am stuck to the library since it's my only character right now. Sooo I'm not sure what to do for now.

  11. Ikaski raised his brow again looking at the Oni woman. Her drunken state wasn't anything to look at nor be worried lest she was a testy one. And by his gut feeling the Oni might be quite the stubborn creature, even one picking for a fight perhaps or at best throw petty argument. Regardless of that, Ikaski replies calmly, "I'm aware that Oni blood gives you immunity to allergins, however if someone important in the crew gains some ailment of sorts from a dangerous spore or an illness; there's a lot more to it, and I'd rather have a healthy crew so I don't die. I'm certain you wouldn't want the same either?" Ikaski looked to the captain and continued, vocally stating so that the Oni could hear, "I can also brew... Alcoholic beverages, as well as a variety of tonics and such, for when the crew runs out of course."
  12. @Kitsuyumia To respond better to your comment on the Oni and Hobgoblin conflict I'll actually be doing a history within the lore of how Kao'Crys and its Goblin, Dwarven, and Kobold people became so prominent. Before the Cold Dwarves and so forth immigrate to Kao'Crys the islands were ruled by Oni clans and warlords in ancient days, just after their creation. In originality Hobgoblins, certain kinds of Orcs, and Goblins were from a common ancestor however the Oni were direct descendants while the others were only from half the line. So pretty much the Oni thought they were (knew they were) superior than Goblins and Hobgoblins, so they begun leading sieges and enslaving the other races. Goblins escaped to Lowlands, and any history of them in Kao'Crys is either forgotten or buried. Hobgoblins on the other hand were fighting an uphill battle that they inevitably lost, so for nearly two hundred years, and in those years HBs really learned a lot from the Oni. Well in the uprising when riots begun the HBs used the Oni's blood in a mix alchemy and magic creating the first Blood Magic known to the world. The magic was otherwise known as Sin, since its purpose was a dark one used in warfare of all kinds, but that's not how the Hobgoblins won. Sin can be used from the extension of one's body if you're cursing them, this ranges from spit to hair, toe nails and such. The most potent product was of course blood, so Hobgoblins invented powerful curse that kills an Oni's entire family line. So the bloodiest war (no pun intended) began and while many HBs lost their lives many more scores of Oni fell as well, and the war was won in under a year thanks to almost all the slaves being taught this art, killing the entire royal family, major clans and powers including the women and children, even bystanders. And with the Oni outnumbered and outpowered in this sense, they were pushed off Kao'Crys with the dwindling enclaves of Hobgoblins being victor. To sum it up, the Oni got what they deserved, because their treatment against the HB's were tremendously horrid ranging from torture to open rape, public shaking and discrimination. And half the population, even after the first war, were only by a couple thousand. After the second war only a few hundred were left, the Oni by this point were near extinct. That isn't to say there weren't any of them in Lowlands, just that these guys were down to a few dozen in numbers. So there's this beef between Hobgoblins and Oni since the very beginning, which one was the best, while Oni were clearly physically and magically superior (of certain magics), Hobgoblins were all about the mind and invention hence Illusion, alchemy, and the many forms of Pyromancy. Sin was abolished due to it's nature and was only ever recorded in books, the history of it rather, the ability to recreate the lost art through text and depictions we're erased to prevent temptations of using it. So Ikaski and Kuranaro having spite toward an Oni isn't unnatural, the hatred isn't taught but it's still there because events like that should not have happened, especially of the Oni are the exact same like they were before. However Hobgoblins have invented a variety of sword and magic arts that can put the Oni in their place if another war happened... That is to say, if they win against the Snow Elves. I can also imagine the Oni sending agents after the royal line against the HBs (Ikaski) due to being in a state of vulnerability. If this seems like a lot sorry, but this is to sun it all up.
  13. (Oof hobgoblins pushing out Oni. I would love to see how they manage to pull that off xD as Oni of all varieties are normally considered much stronger than goblins of any kind.) Aiya heard the hobgoblin's request for blood and oit out a groan. "Who cares, if someone is allergic to magic or some shit like that then it should just be natural selection at that point." she said in answer while in her drunken state. She probably was speaking out of her inebriated state probably not caring since she would not have an adverse reaction towards anything unless if it was just straight up poison. As she half lay on the table she was starting to feel a bit over heated in her drunken state. But she was not uncomfortable enough to do anything about it.
  14. Kuranaro could have spoke about the blue powder, all it were a simple mixture of- Well it doesn't matter now since the tall fellow was moving onto more important matters. Those matters being the large books opened and spread across the table. At first glance it appeared to be all history going over certain cultures and a particular item this Roland that he seemed so invested in studying the... What was it? Time frame from it's original make, that was it. And already Kuran could see the texts that points to a variety of makes from the specific culture. "Hm... So we'll see..." Kuran started to look over the book himself, his eyes were darting back and forth until he pulled another book from the pile and started to look through it. After a few minutes of silence until he looked at the bangle for a moment before taking off to find a different book. Upon coming back into the circle Kuran set two small books on the table, one of which had almost nothing to do with cultures, however they did involve catalogues of certain trinkets, odds and ends, and the various museums and collectors that either sold or displayed the items. The second book was extremely old and slightly tattered, however it was thick and clearly the Hobgoblin wouldn't have picked either of they weren't worth anything. With a sigh he started searching through Exotics and Eccentrics, the catalogue of all things. It was quite possible if someone knew further info of the bangel all the collectors were in Runae City or just nearby, to add, many museums could help with information... Granted they might be stingy and require Roland to hand over any items regarding the matter for a public display. "I've been in this library time to time, reading as much as I can taking in any form of knowledge, useful and useless, but knowledge nonetheless. I remember coming across something in both these books, something very similar to your bangle from the markings to the shape. If we can perhaps find a brief description in this catalog and a further... And it may give us a chance to see if there are others like it. While that may not be as fruitful, it is worth a shot. This other one should have what we're looking for... Perhaps more than that. I'll search the other ones too after I'm done with these."
  15. @BladeRunner @Seraphina Hopefully Roland is an amusing character and will continue to be so as I just posted once more. I was hoping to keep up with the goings on in the tavern but sadly have yet to be able to.
  16. Roland's mouth opened to comment upon the satchel and powder at first, but then immediately silenced himself upon seeing the red-skinned hobgoblin extend his arms out. Though the Incubus seemed quite boorish in manner, he was, in fact, quite studious and observed both the gestures of his newly met companion as well as the blue powder that filtered the air, soon transforming into a bubble of sorts. Immediately Roland stood to his feet, his horns able to pierce the bubble though he could neither feel it nor did it result in the barrier being pierced by any noise. "What ho there!" he declared, but there was no response from the surrounding patrons. Even the glare of the little fairy seemed more of observance than disturbance. "You seemed quite at work here," his companion stated, stepping into the blue ring. "What is a crimson-fleshed Hobgoblin looking at?" Roland did not notice or perceive the inflection in the fellow's comment regarding his skin-tone, but instead gave his new compatriot a might smack on his back shoulders with a guffaw, powerful enough to at least urge the fellow forward. "Well met good stranger! Is the powder a compound you yourself have made or do you procure it somewhere?" He then immediately shakes his head and his hand. "Nevermind, we can discuss such things later. I am Roland Greyplains, procurer and seller of artifacts, trinkets of old, and treasures of the land. A recent expedition team recently brought in a golden bangle just like this one." His finger stabbed at the parchment with the illustration of the bangle in question before pointing at the various notes he had written down. "As you can see, I am in the process of determining which potential time frame it came from, which culture, and if it is a specific and unique bangle or one of many. It is certainly pre-war, though perhaps only fifty to fifteen years before it all began, which already prices it at a decent sum. Yet I wish to discover more specifics to get a more accurate determination of its value." With a wide smile he looked up to his new partner. "With double the hands and double the eyes I feel I might stumble upon more details of its make. And do not worry, friend, for I shall ensure a percentage of the earnings shall be forwarded to your address once it has found an owner. I do not take those that assist me for granted." With that said, and giving the hobgoblin little time to respond, he began to go over his notes, comparing similarities to jewelry of different regions and different races, helping him to pin down a few guesses as to what sort of origin the bangle might have. @BladeRunner @Seraphina
  17. Ikaski watched the woman as red as himself easily guzzle down tankards of beer. At first he mistook her for another Hobgoblin but as she approached it was clear she was not in fact a Hobgoblin. Instead her horns clearly indicated two possible races, a Tiefling or best possibly an Oni. He would have preferred the former over the latter given either people's historic dispositions, and with the Hobgoblins driving the Oni out of Kao'Crys many eons ago... No, there had to have been more Oni in the Lowlands, but that didn't make Ikaski feel any more comfortable about the situation. Then again, the Oni he was used were warmongering demons, not some lush making side coin. Not caring for what the Oni had said, Ikaski spoke up, "If you do not mind I'm hoping there is enough space for my alchemy? Wherever we travel I tend to collect native and exotic herbs and plants, that said, I cannot stress the needed room to conduct experiments or concoctions for the crew as a whole. And to add I will require a blood sample of everyone that joins, I could ask for hair but crimson allows me to see what mixtures are best suited for the given individuals. And no, this isn't a request, it is a demand, I don't want to kill anyone because they have an allergic reaction."
  18. Two brothers born from different mothers, a Orc and Oni who worked in prostitution, when the human King, John GreenStone, had sex with them. 19. Aiya nodded and she fanned herself a bit with her hand. "Yeah yeah, just getting some extra cash on the side." She said in reply to the captain. Although her head currently felt like it was throbbing and she felt her world was spinning around her as she sat there slightly inebriated. "I just need to take a small nap real quick," she said before leaning forward and placing her head down on her part of the table.
  20. Thomas looked up as a yell could be heard from a nearby table. He glanced over to see Aiya having a drinking contest with a Tiefling. Aiya had already join his crew earlier, the Oni having found him after seeing the notice. He grinned as she stumbled a bit to the chair next to him and sat down. “You ok, Hon?” He asked, holding her shoulder to steady her. He turned back to the HobGoblin. “If you don’t mind the danger, then welcome abroad.” He said. He was the type of guy who made up his mind quickly and he followed his gut, which said Ikaski was good in a fight wasn’t a bad guy. “Do you have any questions?”
  21. Let’s start with Goblins. I don’t really have much on them at the moment, except where they are from. Homeland(Where most of the race lives)-HavenLeaf BackGround and Lore-Open Traits(Strengths,Weaknesses, Personality) -Open Abilities-Open
  22. As a race in particular, not sure to be honest. A race usually has an origin, which you kinda have. The background and lore can come as much from the race than it comes from the character itself. The traits if we think race traits just speaks mostly of their strength and weakness maybe. And racial abilities. Seems fine? Not sure what else could be needed to define a race with what we already have.
