How Prizes Are Paid

Prize Availability

• There has to be at least 1 entries per prize tier to unlock the prize tier.
• That is to say, if there is only 1 entry, only the prize for 1st place is available. The amounts for 2nd and 3rd place will return to the pot.
• If there are 2 entries, the prizes for 1st and 2nd place will be available, but the third place prize will return to the pot.
• There must be at least 3 entries for all 3 prizes to be available.

Prize Eligibility

• Prizes are awarded based on number of votes. If an entry doesn't get any votes, it is not eligible for a prize.
• If there are 10 entries but only 2 of them receive votes, only those two will receive prizes.

Ties

• In the case of a tie, the tied entries split the total value of the prizes awarded for all the tied places.
• For example, if 2nd place in a contest pays $1,000 and 3rd place pays $500, the total prizes are $1,500, so the two users who are tied for 2nd would each get $750 and there would be no prize for 3rd place.
• We always do our best to split the prize evenly between the tied users, awarding the total value of the prizes.
