KittyTrin Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Makitsu huffed in exasperation as she dropper her messenger bag just inside the door of her new place. It was not nearly as big as some of the other places she had looked at, but it was manageable, both in price and space. A single bedroom, small bathroom, and tiny kitchenette was all her own. After so long spent sharing a bedroom and having things go missing thanks to her sisters, as well as constantly getting berated for the strange hours she kept, it was nice to know she would have some time alone. At the same time, an overwhelming sense of isolation enveloped her and she hugged herself in her oversized sweater, wondering if she had really made the right decision. Taking a deep breath, she moved away from the door, leaving it open, knowing her dad and uncle would be coming up soon with her queen size bed and she would have to say goodbye instead of good night. She wandered into the bedroom, seeing a window that overlooked an alley, thankfully it seemed to open so her little fan would fit. There was enough room in the main sitting area for her computer desk and she made a mental note to get some houseplants to liven up the space as soon as she got her first check from the part time job she had picked up to supplement the income she made on her latest mobile game. She smiled and hugged herself again, this time in glee from the feeling of independence that came with the tiny silver key she had put on a chain around her neck.
Daemon Alexander Deactivated Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Daemon is walking down the hallway making a phone call. When he finishes he begins walking back and notices something he didn't see before. An open door. He walks over and knocks tentatively. "Anybody home?" he calls into the apartment. Not hearing a reply he decides to leave a note. Hello, I live in apartment 216A. I came to say hello but nobody seemed to be home. Swing by some time and we can hang! -Daemon
