    I've been digging into my Metroidvania backlog, having already played Ender Lilies and just finished Ender Magnolia. Also rerunning through 9 Years of Shadows since it got a pretty significant update. I think next I'll break open that Castlevania Advance collection I've had for a while now.

We've recently received more information about Metroid Prime 4, and in the gaming communities I'm a part of there's been mixed reception to the psychic powers. On one hand, they are functionally doing the same thing as any other upgrade, but Samus having psychic powers feels like a bit of a weird direction to go for a sci-fi franchise that hasn't really touched on that sort of mysticism before.
