This forum game requires a little imagination. Basically I will start this thread off with an example while explaining what to do. Try an image hosing site (of course you'll need to look at their Terms of Service) I recommend (Personally) Imgur. Of course that is your choice, "professionally" I'd recommend making a "Friends Only" or "Private Album" due to the way the system works, even if the album is private if you choose to share that image on the forums, then you can. It will work. I hope that's helpful I will include this in my first post.</offtopic>

It's a work in progress. It's been a low priority for the simple reason that the current system works already. EcchiText's have been done because of the heavy references in the Terms of Service. I'm currently focusing on issues that are 'site breaking' or completely offline (Like the Gallery and Arcade) I am working on it in the background just give me more time. xP It should be implemented by the end of the month (conservative estimate) or by 11th August (optimistic estimate).

So the aim of this thread is simple. If you have a sexy desktop or you have a desktop you want to show off, then this is the thread to do it in. Post your desktop; as the name implies. You can use our gallery to upload a picture in a "Stuff" or "Misc" type (for example) folder, which can be set to private, friends only and public. Of course any images you choose to share will still be accessible, just share the image URL as normal. Alternatively if you don't want to use our Gallery then I personally recommend Imgur. Just please follow their Terms of Service (And when posting images on to this site from there, respect ours.) I have two to share with you today: When people are visiting me, I switch to SFW mode When people aren't visiting me, I switch to "normal" mode or "Porn mode" as I like to call it. I no longer use Windows 7 Gadgets (For this reason) so I switched to something called Rainmeter. It's much better anyway. The drives that are being shown show how much activity is going on with them, and how full they are. The weather shows me the outlook for today, tomorrow and the next day. It shows how much RAM and CPU I am using, as well as monitoring my network traffic. Of course I got a big date and time in the top corner too. It actually works really well with my SFW background, but seamlessly blends just as well with my NSFW background. [Of course you don't need to write about it, you can just post your picture or browse around. I figured I'd write what I was using in case someone wanted to know, you never know better to be prepared than caught with your pants down. xP]

Welcome to EcchiDreams, I remember you. Thanks for re-registering! If you decide to join the RP or not, I hope to see you around. NeppyNepNep or even myself (Because I'm also apart of the RP team now as well as Forum and Gallery xD) will try to help you out. NeppyNepNep is still the best person in my honest opinion to ask though. I'm... New at this. xD That said you don't need to write essays to Roleplay. Some people look at (for example) the work of more detailed roleplayers, and think that's a standard they have to live up to, to RP here. No; as long as it's not constant one liners then you'll be fine. :) It should be up to the person on who they want to RP with and to partner themselves to a person with a similar skill-set. Some people would like to improve on their Roleplaying and that's a noble thing to do, so there are plenty of guides on here that might give you an insight as to how to build your posts in the RP. For example I'll show you how I do it changing this: He walked in to a pet shop and asked "I want to buy a cat." to something like this: Jimmy walked into a pet shop in down town Blackberry Falls. His daughter wanted a cat, so badly... She had been pestering him for weeks about it, proving that she could look after it in so many different ways. As Jimmy pushed against the deceptively heavy door, it creaked open, there was a ring of the bell to let the shopkeep know someone had come into the store. 'The door creeks so loudly, why does it need a bell as well?' he thought to himself as he entered the shop. Walking down an isle of pet food and pet essentials he made his way to the desk, Jimmy made his intentions clear. "I want to buy a cat." --- I filled it with talking (Really) about absolute nonsense. </joke> I gave him a little back story and added some description in there. All in all it didn't take that long, but at the same time it obviously took me longer to write than the first one. I used to be a lot like yourself when I first started, I did small replies and wasn't very descriptive. All it takes is time, practice and a will to improve yourself.
