no worries, the concept was interesting in its own right so i thought id join

So far i think TAG's mechanic is the most likely, if just because hes the only one thats gone into specific ideas.

*warning mild BDSM below to explain a thing I think im ready to incorporate my stowaway somewhere, if anyone wants an curious alien tribalwoman to be stalking them, let me know! Im thinking it will be about a week of IC stalking and lurking before my character actually does anything tangible to said stalking victim. And said thing will probably involve having my tribal woman "force" you down to the bed as she crams something soft in your mouth so you cant call for help, tying your hands to the bed post, then riding you till either morning comes or someone comes looking for you

That could be neat indeed... and since hes messing with machines that gives me plenty of reasons IC for a tribal girl to get interested

Plus all stowaways dont need to all happen "at once" the earth stowaways could have been ported in with supplies since you mentioned teleporting humans was possible with the security guard, and the experiment can slip in at one stop and my tribal woman at another... things can be spaced out abit... and via the power or play by post we can have multiple points in the ships history playing out at once

Well my stowaway will come into play once the ship lands on a planet... so that will be far less stowaway and more like... an infestation of a single purple skinned alien girl who can phase through walls and turn invisible... rather then a security guard you probably should call animal control for me xD

Erm i need to correct my statement, someone wrote a stowaway shortly before i finished mine... bugs did one, and sarah has one so theres currently 4 stowaways

... are we now at 3 stowaway characters or am i just looking into things too much?

Currently no, i was going to ask if anyone wanted to volunteer to be her focus point Also thanks for the compliment! I spent about 20 minutes editing someones existing art to turn the normalish tribe girls skin purple, and give her pure black alien eyes... all n all it was a neat time and turned out nicely

NSFW pic in spoiler Name- Unknown to crew IC, below is a spoiler Species- Aespiravit Age- 19 approximately Sex- female Sexuality- aggressively bisexual personality- extraordinarily curious and possessing an overabundance of bravado she is too brave and foolhardy for her own good... however she is clever and fairly intelegent when compared to the rest of her species... when compared to the primitive tech level on her home world at least. Skills- excluding her high level of physical capabilities, her tribe/species has developed the ability to become ethereal at will with some limitations, allowing her to phase through walls, partially float, and turn almost completely invisible... Bio- currently the rest of the crew would know very little about her... at best understanding that she was a tribeswoman who stowed away on the black star... she speaks a language foreign to the rest of the crew and currently cant understand them... she has been on the ship for a while, for a good period of time unknown to the crew of the voyager... the only hint that she was on board being an increase in food consumption that didn't have a particular explanation. (more will be filled in here as RP progresses)

so should i make my alien stowaway in the crew list or other characters category?

I figured as much, i did like the idea of singling someone out that my character would be particularly interested in or curious about and having them be something close to my focus early on

Personally i like the combination of intangiblity and invisibility... like her people are natural escape artists... which without special reasons (ie a coller that she had forced on her that surpressed her tribes ability, which would be odd for the tribal level of the planet) the setup seems odd... however the idea that she saw a specific crew member and was curious about something so she followed him is rather interesting as a setup

Well then i immediately do have one! Essentially after looking through the current positions nothing particularly stood out for me.. which is why i thought of a... stowaway turned pet kinda character, i basically want to play an alien who slipped onto the ship well it was planetside... The character herself would be closer to a primative tribeswoman personality wise and does not speak the general language the crew speaks... As for how shes able to sneak on to the ship undetected? Im imagining some kind of biological power her species has which may be why shes on the ship in the longer term... aka to be researched. the power being either camouflage, invisibility, short ranged teleportation, or temporary intangibility... or some combination of the above Any thoughts or input is welcome

Just wanted to say i love the concept of this location, has a nice "worlds last Bastien of hope and knowledge" kind of feel. Currently imagining a few characters, namely a scientist trying to figure out a way to induce controlled mutations, and a girl from the slums with an extremely minor mutation that barely helps (like a third eye that can see in infrared or something similar) but without knowing all the races i hesitate to commit to either right away, regardless im intrigued

Sasha was nodding along... this seemed... easier to understand... bad people would be bad... kind people would be kind... people would simply be people... which was oddly calming.... just the fact that she knew some people would like her was... oddly reassuring. With an excited yet nervous little laugh she idly mused "it would be nice if people liked me..." before letting the silence build... comfortably enjoying the warm water on her back, hair, and body. (Its fine, i have posts in other rps im horribly behind on so i get that it happens... going to do a short post since honestly the specific scene has... lost alot of momentum for me)

Well this all depends on scale and situation, if the ship is big enough to house all of humanity, if theres say hundreds of smaller ships, heading in different directions probing the cosmos, or if its one fairly small ship that houses a small percentage of what was once humanity... theres options here based off the environment

If two people register as a couple they get -a bigger, shared room with their partner -an increase in personal budget to accommodate preparation for the new crewmate -higher quality food to provide better nutrition for the new crew -some paid time off to both encourage production of the crewmate, and allow the couple time to bond ------in order to register as a couple you must -be capable of breeding or cross breeding with one another -confirmed an "injection" of genetic material into a pregnancy capable partner. -both parties must consent at every step.

For human x human it wouldn't make sense, but for the more unusual species on the ship they may have a breeding program to try and continue their race. Possibly with a specific human with enough recessive genes to result in a nearly pure version of the alien hybrid
