  1. He looks at Ruva before he turns to leave. +The Sons of Sanguinius are not prone to giving in to the warp without significant deception... unless they see it as a sacrifice to save numerous others. Perhaps offer him the healing of his scars. Remain Cautious. Good luck.+ Sanakht began running, quickly crossing the ground in a sprint his sstartes physiology lending him greater speed. Heading to where he last saw Patricia he sends a thought ahead of his arrival +I am to take you to the gate to open it; I am on my way to you. @JennyDK An incredibly interesting task, I know, but it is a necessity. Unless you wish to be tossed over the wall unceremoniously."
  2. Sanakht continued following Ruva and noting the detonation of the generator in the distance. +Excellent work Segmir. What is your status? @Guroda+ He stops to look back at the turret he severed +Heretek @JennyDK I severed a heavy bolter turret from the wall (he sends the image as well) you may be able to get it working if you wish.+ Some bolt shells fly through the jungle, about where he would have been had he followed Ruva more closely. He turns to observe the Blood Angel Sergeant. +@WritesNaughtyStories I assume you would like to take this one alive?+
  3. Sanakht had always hated drop pods. They were such an inelegant way to get to the surface of a planet in comparison to Thunderhawks or teleportation. He sensed the minds of the others feeling that Ruva's excitement for the mission and being hurled at a planet at terminal velocity in a metal can. Well at least someone was happy. After the jarring impact Sanakht unstrapped himself. Then began helping the Heretek out of her pod. He swore under his breath as Ruva and Segmir took off. Then cast a spell allowing the group to communicate mentally +Now we can coordinate without having to worry about vox frequencies.+ Sanakht pulled a small mirror out of a pouch as he ran over to where Segmir was observing the enemy. He placed a hand upon the bike and let his mind touch the warp. He spooled the possibilties surrounding the fallen and his bike and bound their images into the mirror. He handed the mirror over. +Break this when you wish to have the illusions.+ Ruva began her assault on a crewed gun emplacement. Sanakht seeing her fervor uses Warptime to quickly catch up to his pupil while conjuring a whip of warp flame and using it to sever a heavy bolter turret from the wall.
  4. I think as soon as Jenny confirms yes.
  5. "An interesting proposal. @Guroda Segmir does it require line of sight or can it bypass walls?" Sanakht brushed against the mind of the Heretek and noticed their focus on technology as opposed to the mission. He decided to only speak to her mind. +Heretek @JennyDK you do understand the basic parameters of the mission at least, yes? Plus our foes may have more delicate tools...+
  6. "Even if I knew the full scope of the Rubric of Ahriman and taught it to you; you would not enjoy it's effects upon your dog, he is no psyker and would lose his form like ashes in a gale. I suggest coming up with your own solution." Sanakht looked over the other's assembled here. He was pleased to see a Heretek. He always enjoyed speaking to persuers of knowledge on a different path fron him, it offered greater perspective. The eddies of warp that surrounded the bikers of the First legion were strange indeed, but indicated the hands of the dark gods at work which removed most suspicion. "Well don't get to far ahead on those bikes. I won't be able to cover you with illusions should you stray to far. That being said Ruva are the Blood Angels expecting us or have we remained hidden from their long range scanners?" Sanakht entered the drop pod, strapping himself in preparing for the descent.
  7. Sanakht looked about his quarters he had finished making it his own; carving fell symbols of Tzeentch to ward his chambers against arcane intrusion and bringing his various tomes with him. He had also brought with him some of his works. 12 tzaangors he had made in a ritual to grant some favored cultists greater strength (he intended to gift 3 to Ruva for her aid in gathering some of the materials for the ritual before she had left). As well as a staff carved from a large soul gem that had been embedded within an Eldar titan at one point; it enhanced his illusions allowing him to more perfectly toy with the perceptions of his targets. As he was perusing through a translated copy of the Voynich manuscript an Augur appeared in his helmets display, a light blinking in the eyepiece as it rested on its stand. He closed the book handing it to a tzaangor. He stood up, strode over to his helmet and picked it up. He looked at the faceplate it's silvery surface showing his reflection his angular tan face and short black hair showing his Prosperan heritage. He looked into the reflection of his eyes and sighed as he saw them shift color and shape again. They never appeared the same way twice; luckily ever since the rubric had been cast the flesh change had halted within him. Banishing those thoughts from his mind he put on the helmet. In his inhumanly deep voice he spoke to himself "Ah the drop pod bay, and Ruva will be in command interesting..." He then addressed a tzaangors pointing at it. "Bring me my inferno combi-bolter then guard this chamber against intrusion." He grabbed it from the tzaangor and summoned his prismatic stave to his hand on the way out of his chamber; the cloak and robe he wore with his armor flaring dramatically with the movement, he began his journey through the ship to greet his former pupil. He happened upon Ruva as she neared the drop pod bay working a curse on the ammo in her bolt pistol. He reached his mind out to touch it and sense its nature; recoiling at the anti-psyker enchantment. It was a powerful working, likely granted it's strength the internalized self hatred the VIIIth legion had for those with psychic powers, including themselves. Ruva had worked through those issues under his tutelage, but they still existed deep enough down. "@WritesNaughtyStories Ah you demonstrate great skill and knowledge with that working; the primarch of the Blood Angels legion had the same Sight yours did. Those rounds will likely be slightly more effective on them than, say, one similar to your pet. After your successful command on this mission I have a gift for you... a little reminder of your studies." He continued walking to the rest gathered here and assumed an attentive position with those gathered for the assault. Ruva gives her speech and Sanakht raises his combi-bolter at the end and shouts in agreement to raise his former pupil's confidence. It wasn't true to his nature but Ruva would likely appreciate it anyway.
  8. Well @WritesNaughtyStories I have a feeling that those devoted to Slaanesh would still be very interested in the many possible applications of biomancy and other magics of change. After all experimenting with new sensations is fun.
  9. Oh seeing him descend further will be wonderful. Plus if he still has a progenoid gland we might be able to make a second one for you.
  10. He can still be T-Sons if you wish. After the Rubric a lot of Sorcerers went different ways.
  11. Oh well a full Sorcerer might be better in that case as he'd also have greater freedom. And you have a caged wolf that Sanakht (the name I just came up with) would be greatly interested in. Plus I can use my favorite image:
  12. "Maybe the message will come across better through an intermediary." "...and his head exploded. Well, guess you'll have to learn an everchanging daemonic language!"
  13. He's talking about the irl sex toy manufacturer. At least I think so. I would be incredibly interested in playing a Thousand Sons Sorcerer probably just an Aspiring sorcerer so my power isn't insane compared to the rest of the group.
  14. Gromit
  15. Duncan
  16. This is very good; it's just not my personal taste. I prefer a little more prominent and varied vocals. The song does evolve nicely over its eight minutes however.
  17. A DnD session I was playing online. (As a player this time!)
  18. I thoroughly enjoy this song one of the best made for a video game imo.
  19. A DnD session that was a super long combat (3 1/2 hours) but they all enjoyed it. There were betrayals, the fight actually flowed from different scenarios to another (rather than being just two sides hitting each other), they lost an NPC companion, they interacted with hazards. It was probably the best DnD combat I've Dm'd.
  20. Miles
  21. I'm interested in the concept behind this. Where can I learn more about Magnus academy and the world it is in, so I can make a character? Edit: I've read the character creation thread but is there more beyond that?
  22. DUNDUN DUN DUNDUN Terminator 2: Judgement Day
