  1. Otay, I've been trying to write this post for like 2 hours now, but it turns into a stream of consciousness that I'm not very happy with by the end of it. So I'll just try to nail down the core thoughts I had and it might be better to work out on them together. For the record: I've read up the entire OOC thread, I skimmed through the IC one, but I think I got an idea of what's going on. I'm also passingly familiar with FATE - I've read the book once or twice, but never really had the chance to play or watch somebody play it to actually know the mechanics by heart. I'll certainly appreciate some help as we go through this, and I think I'll just work out who the character is narratively and then we can start putting labels where the system needs them. So the core idea that I have in my noggin' is to have a character who's actually still a part of the Hive when we meet her first — a leader or member of whatever skeleton crew is stationed at the outpost LUST DF is attempting to liberate. They've been told they're there to defend the settlement, but it's pretty clear that it's a suicide mission and the whole thing is just to dispatch of some of the more problematic members in the military with as little paperwork as necessary and in a way that's most beneficial to the Hive's interest — in this case by contributing to the propaganda campaign in a similar way that the local population is going to. I think whomever my character is has already taken a few steps to deprogram herself from the Hive's conditioning (so that we don't have to spend 90 in-game days to wait for her to get converted :p). My initial thought was that a mission in the past got her stranded without the supply of emotion blockers, which left her with a taste for emotion and sensation (que Hooked on a Feeling) but it leads my brain in the direction of writing someone seeking increasingly stronger emotional highs, and that's... not something that feels particularly appealing to me to write. So I'll just leave it here for now and see if maybe somebody here can prod me in a different direction. Alternatively (in part, at least), I was thinking of using my character to introduce some third party to the conflict. A pirate gang or a mercenary outfit operating on the peripheries of the Hive, but not directly affiliated to the Union. Rebels vs the Empire is a tried and true base framework, but it does feel like it could use some spice from outside this core foundation. Just a loose thought so far, but I could pull onto it a bit more. A question, since I wasn't seem to infer it from the thread: Is the setting placed on Earth/some other singular planet, or are we operating on an interplanetary level? And a separate one: How autonomous are the Bio-Frames? Are they dependent on a pilot to function at all, or are they able to maintain themselves without one? The image of the rare rogue Bio-Frame learning to operate completely on its own is an interesting one to think about in the context of the setting.
  2. Ohhh, that's a lot of very tasty lore and explanation; thank youuu~ I'll catch up and give a proper response tomorrow, since it's way past my bedtime right now. But this is looking lovely :3
  3. @WritesNaughtyStories I saw something about mechas. Sex mechas. And game systems. In the game master corner thread. As someone who just finished thumbing through the rulebook for Lancer, been playing MechWarriors for ungodly amounts of time recently, and is fresh after reading WARHOUND for the first time, I, uh, I might be interested in joining 9.9 Are y'all still playing/do you have some free slots?
  4. @roll to seduce Do you have a preference sheet or something similar I could look at? I need to know all your secrets and darkest desires >:D
  5. I'd love to join in as well, and I potentially know someone else who'd like to join as well, if you'd have us :3 I'm familiar with Pathfinder (though it's been a while since I last played), though unfamiliar with Savage World. With how numbers-crunchy PF can be, I'm willing to learn, though :p
  6. If it's one or the other, I think you should 100% have supernatural elements — long road rides and paranormal activity goes hand in hand often, and for a good reason. I think it's good to leverage that in your game. I'd say do it in a subtle way — think Stephen King's fiction (I have the Dark Tower on my mind for some reason): weird things can and will happen in the narrative, but you don't exactly have players walking around slinging spells or fighting dragons. That edge of the natural and supernatural is where I'm seeing this game fit quite well setting-wise (and it wouldn't require you to change the character sheets necessarily :p) That being said, if you do want to allow for multiple settings, I think you should try to make the supernatural elements as optional/separatable as possible. I'm with Isa here in that something like an epiteth-based system, akin to FATE, could let you bypass having to create separate mechanics for this kind of thing, though depending on how deep you are into development (or how set you are on certain ideas), I can understand that might not be entirely possible. It's honestly a little difficult at this point to give specific advice without really knowing what the game looks like in detail, so I think it's best you go with your gut from here :p
  7. Ohhh, I love that idea! First thing that came to mind is the videogame Pacific Drive. Very similar kind of vibe. I'd love to play it. I think for a setting, you want something that works well for a base (and postapo does feel like the obvious choice), but then allows for hacks of the game to be created. Let people turn it into a game about a stranded starship floating through outer realms, a fun (and maybe a little weird) roadtrip, or a pirate adventure on the high seas in a barely-holding vessel. The core that you've got allows for some really fun spinoffs, so I think making the game a little generic by design may actually work in your favor here. One game that I know did it succesfully while still maintaining an interesting spin on a fantasy setting is Ironsworn — it's great on its own and has some semi-unique worldbuilding, but is also built in a way that made spinning it off into other settings really easy.

  9. Boop! Just wanted to poke my head in; didn't realize we had a TTRPG club around here! Is anyone actively running anything? I see a lot of mentions of various Rapscallion's systems. I'd like to contribute a link to Carbon Pink, which is their D&D5e lewd cyberpunk conversion. Pretty neat, with both the upside and the downside of being essentially D&D 5e
  10. Bump! Resurrecting this since life got the better of my last partner and they dropped from the site completely. But hey, that means more people I can get to know :3 Feel free to leave a comment or DM me privately if interested!
  11. Hey there! Long time no see! I've returned to this wretched hive of sin and debauchery to look for someone who'd be keen on helping me fulfill some of my more taboo kinks. I've had a couple of similar ones in the past, but for one reason or another they all ended up having to end early, so I've been feeling somewhat edged in regards to engaging in those sort of themes. What am I talking about? Well, if the title wasn't clear, I'm looking for someone who would be eager to run a game with (or for) me with strong themes of bestiality and potentially monster-fucking, with my character being the (un)fortunate victim to the creatures' excessive closeness and affection. I'm actually quite flexible when it comes to specifics, so pretty much anything that I'll mention is up for negotiation. Essentially I see it, as one of the two scenarios (though I'm open for alternatives): F4GM - Something akin to more traditional RPGs, albeit with a lewd spin. You'd be playing the world and the monsters/beasts/characters that inhabit it, I'd be playing the intrepid adventuress that tries to get through the dangers of her adventure (and presumably fall rather spectacularly). Format-wise we could do a dungeon crawler, an actual adventure, or just fuck-around-and-improvise-in-the-setting kind of game. Most likely a fantasy setting, but I could see this being something akin to an MMO/Simulation, Sword Art Online-style, or even a more modern or Cyberpunk setting, if we could manage to spin the theme to fit it. This mode of play (with a game master) is my preferred approach, partly because it's easier to create a variation of creatures, encounters, and plots in this sort of a scenario, partly because it has the potential to let me engage in more of my kinks, and partly because it gives more power over to you, which turns me on. It would, however, require significantly more effort from you, so I understand if you'd rather not take up that much responsibility. F4Any - This one is far simpler and closer to what one would imagine as a traditional 1on1 roleplay. It would most likely involve a closed setting and some sort of a main character for you to play aside from the creature(s). The bestiality aspect here would likely be an extension of your character's control and dominance over mine, and be a little more grounded. I think this can also work in a fantasy setting, but also fits much better something more modern in nature. I don't have as strong a grasp on this idea as I have the first one, so there's a lot to be discussed for that, but I'm also definitely willing to explore something in these regions. If you have a good idea, you're welcome to shoot me a prompt :3 Feel free to mix and match any of the ideas from above, as well as suggest your own. I'm absolutely open for discussion, as long as the core kink being explored remains more or less the same. There's also a bunch of kinks that I think could fit well in these sorts of scenarios (some better in 1, some better in 2). These are by no means hard requirements, and should be considered more as a list of potential stuff I'm open to for you to pick and choose from, or serve as inspiration. So let me know if any of the following interest you (or indulge me and treat it like a checklist :p): Swarms/groups, humiliation, insects, infestation, interspecies pregnancy, oviposition, noncon/dubcon. pet-play, filth, ugly bastard, public play/exhibitionism, prostitution, free-use, corruption, cum-play, and many more! What do I bring to the table? 4+ years of ERP experience and even more in traditional RP/RPGs. High standard of writing & formatting in my posts. Two-to-four-paragraph-long replies. Focus on more than just sex in the RPs I'm in. Eagerness to communicate, set, and respect limits. What do I want from you? Interest in engaging with the major kinks I've specified in this post. To have read my preference sheet and to acknowledge and respect its contents. To have a preference sheet of your own and/or be willing to discuss your kinks and limits. Ability to write at least two-paragraph-long replies in coherent English. I hope I didn't sound too stuck-up in the post. Feel free to reach out either under the post or in private if you're interested, or if you have any questions regarding the ideas or the post. That's it from me, and I'm looking forward to hearing from all you lovely people ^^

  14. Well, for one, I'm sorry that I ended up dropping pretty much without a word. I joined Spruce Moore in a period where I didn't really know how much time I'd have in the coming months, and it sadly turned out that "not a lot" was the answer. I just wouldn't be able to keep up with the plot, nor really show much activity considering how much time per day a single lengthy post can take from me. I've come to really enjoy both the storyline and the characters y'all have made, but sadly real life is a thing as well :c Just wanted to get it out there, mostly so that nobody thinks that something about the club turned me away. It was a wonderful game that I wish I could have fully engaged in.
  15. Reading up on the posts a bit. Damn. Now I want to have Daliah figure out that something happened between Austin and Rinoa. Only fuel up the tension between the two. @Kitsuyumia, how is the main Mating Season thread supposed to work? I see so far people just dropping in with what their characters are doing and where, but how do you see it progressing from here?
  16. Stumbles into the room, messily trying to button up his shirt- I'm here- I'm here-! Sorry for not saying hello, I had my weekly RPG start right when I got the post done Whoa. Yeah, that was a long last few weeks. How have you guys been doing? I see the mating season has officially started, I may try to join in. Not sure how active I will be though, college has been really a pain in the butt in the recent times, and I'm not sure how much time it will leave me in the coming weeks/months as well. Will do my best to stay up to date though. Should probably do something on the vampire side as well, I had a character planned a while back that I wanted to throw into the mix. That idea sounds really cool, but I think we should keep most focus on this roleplay for now; We don't have that many people active even now, so dividing our attention between two roleplays could result in people getting overwhelmed or scattered too thin. That said (and it may be your idea already), if you were to keep it less free-form and more focused on a singular plotline/maybe a collaborative short story, with a smaller group of dedicated people, it could work as a nice way to do some worldbuilding. I'm certainly curious how it's gonna develop, though I don't think I'd join in, considering my likely limited availability on the site. Speaking of, @IsabellaRose, I'm really terribly sorry I kept you waiting for a month. I've tried writing something through the days, but I was either flooded with assignments or too exhausted to do creative work. You totally should have ditched me for the mating season fun. (By the way, I didn't really give any hooks in my post to not keep you tied to the scene for much longer, but if you'd rather, let me know, I can have Daliah inquire about Lupita a bit more). @Venari99 @BladeRunner I believe I owe you some scenes as well! Probably not what was planned the last time I was around at this point, but I'm open to start something after the current one finishes (which I wager should be rather soon). On a different note, I've been scrolling through the character thread a bit (some great new faces around by the way :3), and does Austin @BladeRunner have a son? Or is it a different Austin being mentioned in Samara's backstory, @Lady_Xien? I'm curious now :x
  17. Daliah felt a soft gasp escape her lips as the girl’s arms clutched firmly, needily around her frame, seeking out the Beta’s embrace, taking her by surprise with the sheer magnitude of affection she was suddenly being shown. She found herself tensing up at that very moment, her voice breaking slightly mid-speech as she looked down on the girl within her arms, slowly coming to accept the firmly returned embrace. It wasn’t really all that unexpected, given the sympathy she had been trying to express to Lupita, and yet it felt… rather strange to end up as the target of all these emotions. Almost disingenuous in a way, like she wasn’t the one Lupita had actually wanted to hug, and was just tricking the girl into sharing all these emotions with her – even though that had never even crossed Daliah’s mind before now. It was the Beta comforting a pack member, but Lupita embracing Daliah. So when she pulled back to look into Lupita’s eyes, for Daliah it was more of a retreat, a strategic withdrawal from this strangely intimate position she had put herself in, rather than anything else. And behind the genuine sympathy still lingering in her eyes hid also a slight embarrassment, an internal conflict of someone who felt as if they had just seen something than they were really privy to. Quite ironic, considering the circumstances of their encounter… Hearing Lupita speak up after her, she did find herself relieved a bit. It gave her a moment to sort the mess that were her emotions. “It’s alright-“ she assured quickly after Lupita expressed her concerns, not letting the girl know that at that very moment the only person she considered most “scattered” was really herself. But as she was going to follow up on that, she paused, hearing that there was more to what the pale-haired biologist had to say. And as she listened, her expression shifted, realizing she had once again misjudged the woman’s character. A smile warmed her visage, as if her problems had been resolved just by hearing this single assertion of Lupita’s determination. “Your words already prove you’re stronger than you think.” Daliah’s grasp grew slightly firmer on the girl’s arm, her own voice gaining strength in response to Lupita’s confidence. "And you won't have to face your troubles alone," she reemphasized, though her words started to carry a bit more personal weight than she might have originally intended, feeling like she owed it to her. "As long as you're with us, Lupita, we'll support you every step of the way, be it through the hunts or in those periods between them. That's what the pack is for." She smiled, finally pulling back a bit, giving the girl some space.
