Physical Description: Sporting three prosthetic limbs to replace the ones she had lost to amputation, Lauren is a moderately tall elf with modest curves and various sizes of scars scattered across her skin alongside--among other things--part of her abdomen being replaced with metal plating and a couple artificial organs. The prosthetic filling the role of her right arm was installed at the shoulder joint, her skin stretched and scarred from the surgical procedure - with both of her legs experiencing a similar procedure attaching the prosthetics to her thighs. She wears clothes with a cyberpunk aesthetic, primarily a black hoodie with a lot of straps/pockets with white accents, black shorts with various pockets and neon orange accents, and black and orange sneakers with a neon blue accent streaking across the sole of both shoes. She tends to show very little skin aside from her face and neck.
Personality, Traits and Abilities
General Overview: Lauren is a victim of human experimentation who had reincarnated from her home world of Scoriazion, and as such she finds it hard to trust others due to her paranoia. Regardless of the trauma she inherited upon being reincarnated into her hosts body she still treats those around her with kindness, dedicated to her craft and willing to support those struggling to deal with their emotions. Although she's good with planning and coordinating efforts, she's prone to spacing out when stressed and often makes rash decisions when aggravated.
Strengths, Skills and Abilities:
-Longevity: Being a (reincarnated) Elf, Lauren has an obscenely long lifespan ahead to her - though she's still used to how she perceived time as a human in a previous life. As such, her perceived immortality is both a blessing and a curse to both herself and those around her, as she'll long outlive anyone she falls in love with.
-Regeneration: Fueled by her bodies mana, she can regenerate any part of her body--including her prosthetics--given enough time, though the regeneration kicks in all at once as opposed to gradually over time. Ideal for recovering small to moderate injuries or damage to her prosthetics, less useful during drawn out fights or for severe injuries. Does not alleviate ailments.
-Overdriven: Using a combination of acrobatics, athletics, parkour, and a unique augmentation replacing the padded heels of her prosthetic feet with motorized rollerblade wheels; Lauren is able to gain a lot of speed and better maintain her momentum when fleeing from pursuers or when trying to quickly traverse difficult paths, the combination of skills allowing her to quickly scale walls or jump between buildings with few to no injuries. Perfect for fleeing pursuers or otherwise making herself scarce, though it's prone to be predictable in tight spaces and completely useless in bodies of water.
-Holographic Great-Shield: Powered by the electrical pulses from her body that operate her prosthetic arm, she has a holographic projector augmented into her prosthetic that can generate a holographic barrier able to reflect attacks. She can adjust the settings of the projector to fit her needs, though she generally has it set to look like a great-shield that follows the movements of her prosthetic arm. The holographic great-shield is as tall as she is, though in its current setting it can only project her from one general direction in exchange for a longer duration. Other shield settings can provide more protection for less duration, though once the shield depletes it has a half an hour cooldown before it can be used again. Great-Shield setting lasts for 5-10 minutes or until the shield is broken.
-Rolling Thunder: By combining her mobility with her holographic great-shield she can utilize both her speed and defense to quickly reposition herself, though she can also use her speed to shield-bash into attackers with tremendous force. Using her abilities like this does limit how much of herself she can protect.
-Electrostatic Pulse: Using her knowledge of physics she uses her mana to amplify the electrical signals her nerves generate to build up massive electrical charges within her own body, channeling the electricity generated in the process into her prosthetics. Upon making contact with a person or object, all of the stored electricity is unleashed all at once. Can be used to jumpstart or short-circuit electrical devices or quickly knock out opponents without killing them, though the sound of electricity arching off of the metal of her prosthetics is very noticeable.
-Rigid Plating: As her prosthetics are made primarily of metal, she has metal plating protecting the mechanical and electrical components of her prosthetics. It can serve as her last line of defense when her shield breaks or its duration runs out.
-Elven Engineering: Having been an engineer in a previous life she's well versed with machines, especially now that she's experienced a second life with the influence of magic. As such, she found a way to combine the two aspects of both of her lives, creating machines that could use both magic and electricity to operate. Unfortunately, actually making these machines takes a lot of time, energy, and her magic reserve to make, and the materials to make them aren't very cheap either.
Weaknesses:
-Her paranoia can be exploited to breed distrust
-She can't swim due to her prosthetics
-She's prone to severe hypothermia due to her prosthetics
-She's prone to being kidnaped/abused when her prosthetics are broken
-She makes rash decisions when angry
-All of her abilities have inherent weaknesses
Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): Lauren has always been fascinated with machines from when she was young, and she still is to this day. She dreams of her machines making the people around her happy, with her hope being that she can find a way to prolong the lives of those around her. However, her biggest dream she's truly strived for is recreating an ancient relic from her previous life 'Pandora's Prism', eager to spend her new life as an elf researching how it works and being able to travel the multiverse using it... Though actually achieving that goal is still a pipedream.
Hobbies and Interests: Inventing, tinkering, researching - She enjoys learning everything she can about machines and physics alike. Though she is also interested in stargazing and reading, and to a lesser extent cooking and renovating.

Bio:
-Lauren was born and raised in another world undergoing a technological renaissance, living near the heart of her nations capitol city. She remembers her childhood fondly, as her parents worked in the same building and often took her with them - with various toys and books for her to entertain herself with in a formerly vacant office between both of theirs. They both worked as inventors, and they were very talented at their jobs as well. Thanks to their success they never had to struggle with finances, often taking her out to various parts of the city and enjoying their time away from work together. As she grew older and entered school she found herself fascinated with the marvels of technology, though what caught her attention in particular was an ancient artifact known as Pandora's Prism. Though no one knew what its original purpose was, their technology at the time allowed them to peer into other universes - with some of these windows into other realities being traversable by human feet. And so, her life's goal became as crystal clear as the Prism itself: To discover the secrets such an artifact holds, and to discover its true purpose.
Lauren committed her life towards this one goal, proving her knowledge in school and getting a full-ride scholarship into a prestigious university. She studied every college course she could to prepare for it, from a Doctorate degree in Quantum Physics to a Doctorate degree in Engineering, alongside various other diplomas to ensure they could successfully build up their work record. By the time she was in her 30s she began working with other scientists to discover the secrets of Pandora's Prism, and learning otherwise classified information about the artifact while working around it. Though she was the youngest of everyone there working on the project, she was the most devoted to uncovering its secrets. However, a freak accident brought her entire world crumbling down around her, as one of her coworkers noticed a small crack in one of the prism's many faces. As they gently touched it the crack began spreading, the light pouring out from the cracks seeming to tear their coworker apart atom by atom as it rapidly pulled their entire being into the growing crack. The bigger the crack grew, the faster it spread across the rest of the prism. As more and more of her coworkers were atomized in front of her the emergency shield finally deployed, preventing further loss as the crack continued to spread. Lauren had managed to avoid having any part of herself torn apart, though as she tried to run away and escape to safety the shield started to fail as well - only making it halfway out of the building before the prisms implosion put a swift and painless end to her and everything else within a three mile radius.
For what she could only describe as an impossibly brief minute of eternity, Lauren felt nothing as her senses began to fade. The only thing she could recall seeing in this brief glance of the afterlife was a weary woman with long and pointy ears, hearing a faint whisper in her head as the woman approached.
"Be swift and run fast... And stay safe. Please, save him from what he's become..."
Lauren had woken up inside of a dark room, with her head feeling fuzzy as she slumped out of bed and onto her feet. She could vaguely recall what the woman had said, though the memory of the explosion had higher priority for her to figure out... Had she died? The sky outside signaled the sun's inevitable rise from the horizon, the natural light from outside beginning to illuminate the room as Lauren tried finding her way around the room. She could only feel one of her hands touching anything, with her legs giving her the sensation as if something was pressing up against her thighs... But she couldn't feel her feet either. She froze for a second as her eyes caught sight of a mirror, struggling to simply walk towards it as she tried to think. Her head felt fuzzy and her ears felt cold, finally reaching the mirror to look at herself as the slight pain of cold metal to skin ached in her arm and legs. She looked over her body. Then again. As the feeling of panic set in she slapped her face with the only arm she had any sensation in, though it couldn't have prepared her for this new reality.
This wasn't her body... And her right arm and both legs had been replaced with prosthetic limbs.
Lauren felt herself slump to the ground as she tried processing the situation she'd been thrown into, tears streaming down her face at the horrifying thought of living in someone else's body. She looked around at the rest of the room as the sun finally rose above the horizon, finding more pressing concerns and fears rising within her. She wasn't the only person in the room. The room contained twelve hospital looking beds in total, one of which she had woken up from. The other beds in the room... They had corpses on them. Corpses with signs of human experimentation using various augmentations and prosthetics. The sight of it sickened her to her core, looking out the window to find that wherever she was now - it was in the middle of nowhere. She spent a little bit of time thinking as an unsettling feeling washed over her, noises she initially thought to be hallucinations growing closer... Footsteps. And the sound of mechanical hissing alongside the heavy sound of the footsteps gave her enough fear to get out of there as soon as she could. Without a second thought she ran towards and jumped through the window, falling to the ground and tumbling a little as she heard alarms from the building fill the air. As she got back onto her feet and began running away she looked back... And saw something inhuman looking at her. It seemed as if it was made of metal from head to toe, and worse yet it began to give chase. And so began her life in this new world... But she still had a long path ahead of her.
The last thing she recalled before finding herself stranded on the island was finishing her preparations to kill the Madman once and for all, having recruited a vast network of allies and having brought about an industrial revolution to arm her allies with guns and canons. She had gone to sleep to rest for the battle ahead... And then she woke up on the island.
