@Icarian Dreams I'm just going to drop the GoogleDrive link for Emily's character sheet in case you want to make a copy for sorting out your fallen scion (or just to get a more mechanical grip on what Emily's already bringing to the table). Depending on how aggressively we want to push the Hive trying to discreetly 'execute' the scion, we could tease a villain NPC and have a Trouble like Director Tanaka Wants My Head or Lt. Faraday's Promotion Will Be Signed in My Blood. Something more general might be The Hive Has a Grave Picked Out for Me. These are a touch wordy, but you get the idea. Getting into the story is the big thing. Get a name and a description and jump in with a post at the outpost. We've been adding Aspects and stunts as they evolve in the fiction and I think that has worked very well. I expect this young woman has had soft sheets, new clothes, eaten regularly (as do even the poorest citizens) and air that's warmed in winter and cooled in summer. There are comforts and safety that are part of the Hive that are not available to the Union. For your Trouble, I would suggest things to point at being a sheltered young woman who finds herself in a very different world. Stuck between worlds is close, but does2 points

This is precisely the kind of thing I'm suggesting. I doubt the Hive's BioFrame locked down is much more complicated that a shutdown switch. Pilot jumps in, thumbs it on, and goes. Hive command gets a notice that the frame has been activated and the monitoring begins I'd warrant, but the competent scion with infiltrators would, I expect mount up. Except that they know it pings command and everyone is watching. If they're on the fence and decide to interrogate the pair, the frame sits idle and only the young commander knows. Which is functionally the same thing as the BioFrame being delivered later. I kind of like the Bi2 points

I think from a meta perspective, we might want to adapt this to more neatly fit bringing in Icarian's scion character. There are a few ways we could play this... - Magda and Emily being discovered tampering with the e-blocker dosing and possibly captured by a surprisingly competent Hive scion (who is on the fence over what side they're actually on) would give them a moment to have an out-of-combat encounter with Icarian's character. Maybe leading to an accelerated capture of the base as Icarian arranges to 'open the gates'? - Icarian's character might leave the outpost on his own to try and proactively find and negotiate with the LU2 points

I am 100% putting "Hive scion having to pose as a emotion-drugged love-doll for infiltration purposes" on my "please yes, I so badly want this to happen list". Just saying. That's a really good idea, which would also give a way to actually have a custom Bio-Frame for my character, which was going to be potentially problematic otherwise. I really like what you did here. At this point, however, I am almost certain I am going to end up with the scion idea. I will plead having been THRILLED to see your interest and wanting to share what the game is. This says eloquently what I managed not to say at all. I was stuck at Eridani Light Horse and Hammer's Slammers which don't fit and I couldn't see my way to The Seven Samurai. The game and it's story has felt really small, desperate and intimate. There IS still a mechanical value to a Healing ability. You can help someone recover Stress, both Physical (Injured and Exhausted), and Mental (Afraid, Insecure), remove diseases and afflictions, identify poisons and toxins... And you don't have to have sex with someone to save them. I imagine sex builds your reserves of energy, using your magical abilities diminishes that reserve. Otherwise you'd have to have sex with someone to affect them with any magical ability, and that would look pretty weird at the gambling table trying to get one over one someone using a little telekinesis on the dice. Honestly, just love the idea of playing a monster of some kind in a variety of scenarios. This could be in a fantasy or modern setting, heck, we could even mix things up with a sci-fi setting, if you got a monster in mind that fits the theme! We have free spots, as many spots as there are players. We're not using anything nearly as chunky as Lancer (although I LOVE that game, and while the graphics aren't as good as MechWarrior, check out Lancer Tactics on itch.io for a Lancer video game).
