The job was meant to be like any other, Jasper goes in, snatches whatever valuables he can find, and is back before his mark even knew he was gone, this time he chose what he thought was just some rich asshole that had too much money to know what to do with that was on some kind of vacation, what he didn't know was that the house belonged to a high ranking military member who most definitely would take exception to his being there, as he was going through a jewelry box quietly laughing to himself, unfortunately today was her first day off, and she was looking to blow off some steam, his eyes widened as he quickly poked his head through the blinds as he watched her vehicle pull up to the house, his mind racing as he quickly looked around the bedroom for some place to hide, settling on beneath her bed, panting softly as his small frame slipped underneath, his eyes wide as his mind raced, what if he got caught? he couldnt go to prison, what if she was armed, all questions he hadnt even considered before jimmying open the lock to the house and then the door to the bedroom swung open, the thudding of boots were all that could be heard as one hand slowly came up to cover his mouth, and then he saw it hit the floor, military garb silently cursing himself even more than he already was.
