  • The queen had three dilemmas. 1 the royal army with help from the locals had defeated the empire of Nacht, but to her grief they were not able to stop the genocide of the kitsune, and now she had the last of their kind on her hands, who had asked the queen to find a mate for her among the humans. 2 the queen had to give her general some kind of reward for his astonishing victory over the empire. even with kitsune guides, trackers, and mages behind him that was a frightening task. But her queendom was stretched thin after supplying an army hundreds of miles into enemy territory. 3 her two most trusted advisors were constantly fighting, and it was driving everyone mad, especially because every single person except for them could see the spark between the two. It was at this moment that the queen remembered the abandoned wing of her palace, it was built for containing high fae wasn't it? Even a kitsune would have trouble breaking out of that. She smiled. "Guards!". A dozen heavily armed, and armored soldiers stormed in through the main gate, and the two side doors, scanning for danger. "Escort Eria, and her favorite person in the whole wide world, to the abandoned wing. I'll be there shortly" around an hour later she stood in front of the only gate in or out of the Fae prison. The queen smiled at the pair, and informed Eria that she had found her mate, and the general that she had a reward for him. Then much to her amusement, and much to their dismay she told the kitsune that her mate was standing right next to her, and the general likewise with his reward. "Until you have come to terms with this, and I mean really come to terms with it. You may not leave this place." Then the queen ordered the gate to be sealed, and went back to her duties practically skipping with delight (or as close to that as a regal queen can) all the way. But behind the thick iron infused gates the mood was entirely different.
