Sarah's entrapment

Situated close to the border between two of the largest empires in the world. Sarah's village was a small village not home to more than 100 families. They mostly made their income through farming and selling medicinal herbs to the travelling merchants. Sarah however was considered a beauty, even though she was more on the petite side of things she still held that air of being a beauty and a beauty she was. She was respectful, kind, caring and loving to everyone. Sarah was raised by pseudo parents due to someone in the village finding her in the forest all alone when she was a baby so they decided to raise her in the village. A good set of years had passed and Sarah was now sitting looking out the window towards the town square where everyone was setting up for the autumn festival. She sighed and got up heading towards her bed as she laid down on it and fell asleep.

It didn't seem like too long later, when she heard a gruff voice waking her up. She opened her eyes to see the village elder and asked what was going on, to her dismay, she was handed a bag and lead to the backdoor.

"Sarah you need to run and don't look back. All the other children and young ones were also sent away. The empire is raising the village on the grounds of us not heeding them and offering up you to that bastard prince. Now its okay Sarah you will meet up with the others sometime but now you need to run and cross the border." 

She didn't even have time to register it fully what was happening. But she nodded and took off running into the forest as fast as her legs could carry her. Thankfully she had a head start so she made it to the border but the hooves of horses were close behind her. Sarah was panting but she knew she couldn't stop so she waded into the river and made her way across the border line between the two empires as she emerged in another forest and kept on running and running... I usually rp as male btw.
