Village: Nepskau

[Dozle The Crusader]

 

Nepskau is a small fishing village just off of route eighteen. They have access to a small lake that is fed from mountain springs, leaving the lake so clear that one can see deep into it and watch the swimming Poémon. This village doesn't have a Pokémon centre, but it does have a Pokémon Doctor who is always willing to take care of your sick and injured Pokémon.

Kira smiled as she snapped her bag closed after she had finished squeezing in everything that she could. She had checked, and double checked that she had everything prepared and ready to go. With a happy sigh, she pulled the bag onto her shoulders and shrugged to settle it into place. Once she was ready, she left her bedroom, closing the door firmly behind her. She went down stairs and into the kitchen where her mother, Tiona was busy making a lunch box. Her father, Talzar, was sat at the dining room table, reading a newspaper. He closed it when she entered the room, placing it on the table. He gave her one of his kind smiles that never failed to get a returning smile, “Ready?” He asked.

“All ready. I’ve packed my bag, and I’ve got Misdreavus! Thanks, father.” Kira said, coming forwards to wrap her arms around his neck and kissing him on the cheek. 

Talzar chuckled as he returned the hug, “You’ve been talking for a long time how you wanted Misdreavus as your first partner. I just wish you luck on your journey.” He told her.

Tiona came around, holding out the packed lunch with a fond smile, “Here, dear. Take this with you. Take it along with our blessings.” She said.

Kira took the box and smiled at the two, “Thank you. I hope I make you two as proud as Alena does.” She kissed her mother on her cheek as well, before she left the two in the kitchen and left through the side door into the crisp morning air. She took a deep breath, knowing that this was going to be the start of an interesting journey. With her smile still fixed on her face, she started to head out of the village.
