This place is filled with slime hives, weird plants, machinery, advanced tech, and crazy stuff. During most hours there are some stuffy people here doing serious work though from time to time you can goof off here, just don't anger the animals. 

In the main work area, temperature and light controlled with sound and blast proof rooms.. the works, there are a number of great discoveries being made constantly. There's everything from vaccine production machines to animal breeding facilities here. If you can dream it, it can eventually be built or produced here probably. 

There is a sign on the breeding facilities stating that it is not a place to play around!!!

While here feel free to submit any findings or goodies you came with and perhaps it will be turned into something helpful or just cool.. or it might distract the researchers here at least

Research officer Noriko gogo reports here with Captain Ryan. Drooling over the way he commands his troops she seemingly gets serious as soon as the bioscans complete. She looks around for the teachers and instructors she's avoiding and quickly takes him over to the ships deep scan pods. Here he can open a holoscreen inside the pod and choose what he wants to have a look at on his body, if he wants to get rid of it or adapt it.. or maybe he wants some sort of solution to it. 

Typically this deep into space there were three options

Adapt, solve, enhance. 

In the case of the captain he had some tentacle alien slime and weird water from planet N259 on him mixing with his hair product 

This could currently be

1. adapted into his gear to work like emergency bubble armor using theoretically safe experimental nano-tech 
2. adapted into his flesh along with the parasites feeding on his flesh to give him the ability to manipulate it like slime armor at the expense of his humanity along with some other possibly unsafe future consequences......
3. it could be eliminated and his scalp repaired.. preserving his humanity and avoiding any drastic high risk stuff going on with his skull

Ryan had felt something was odd after he had returned to the ship, as if something was moving on the skin of his forearm and after his shower he looked at it and to his shock a green blob had appeared out of his skin, staring up at him.

He had tried to pull it off but it just stretched, seemingly fused with his body. As he fought with the creature, he suddenly felt it in his mind, the little creature trying to communicate with him. It couldn’t speak in words but showed him images and feelings. It had apparently been a project from that lab they had found, a experiment to make a bio armor that a person could wear all the time, but could be equipped and unequipped at any moment. Something the slime hadn’t seen had destroyed the lab he was made in and he escaped. 

Ryan had hurried to the research Lab of the BlackStar and had found Gogo. The creature didn’t seem to be harming him, except for feeding on his energy some to power itself, but it was so small Ryan barely felt it. He decided to go with the second opinion that Gogo gave him, to keep the creature alive. 
 

“Well this has been a odd day.” Ryan said, as he stepped out of the scan pod in just his underwear, which is what Gogo had told him was the best way to get a complete scan. He held up his arm and the slime appeared from his skin like a ball of goo. The captain felt his connection to it stronger now and could feel it’s happiness at finding a partner.

Ryan glance up at Gogo and gave her a thankful smile.“Thank you for your help, Miss Gogo.” He said. For all of her oddness and unprofessional behavior, she could be counted on when it mattered. He glanced down at the slime and decided to test and see how this living armor worked. 
 

He closed his eyes and reached out to the Slime with his mind, picturing it moving over his hand, forming a thin but tough layer over his skin. He felt the slime responded and twitched a bit as it oozed from his skin and covered his hand, the sensation tickling. He opened his eyes to find his hand and forearm coated in a semi transparent green slime. He poked it with his other hand, the slime armor firm, but soft to. He closed his eyes again and imagined to it spreading over his body, except for his head. The goo slowly spread over his well muscled body till it fully coated him. Ryan could tell the more the slime stretched, the less durable it became.

Go-go finished her analysis!

"It seems to enjoy a more SilicaX protein and.. Well just make sure you use lots of lotion and drink... A LOT of water. Youll get dehydrated faster from using this. Also it can eat jello or just jello powder... We should have plenty in the food supply. If you dont feed it it'll probably eat your bone marrow after you die haha!" It seemed to be a symbiote and a scavenger at the same time. Its natural habitat was water but like most creatures on its homeworld it was somewhat amphibious. She'd need to collect a few of these things and see how the slimes got along together!

It wasnt too intelligent but could probably learn shapes. It would probably be good at whatever function it was mostly trained to use

Ryan nodded his understanding. It was going to take some getting use to, but he didn’t really want kill this creature if it wasn’t hurting him. He told the slime to stop covering his body and green goo pulled back into a blob on his arm. Ryan reached for his clothes, pulling his pants before turning back to Gogo. 

“Thanks, Gogo.” He said, holding his shirt in one hand and using his other to playfully ruffle the researchers hair. The motion brought his sexy and well muscled close to Gogo.

The slime chirped at the women, it’s huge eyes curious as it studied her. Unknown to them the slime was male and the base slime creature the scientist used to make the armor was a creature that loved sex and the smell of the female Gogo was alluring to it

The Captain slipped his short sleeve shirt on and headed out of the lab, deciding to go check on the rest of the crew before going to bed.

The Swarm Warrior stared out at the vent into the large room, watching in interest as  a female moved around. The scent of this one was nearly overwhelming,  the underlying smell of lust coming in waves, making its mating tentacle twitch. It shook its head, focusing on its mission to find a new Queen.It waited for the perfect moment then struck, grabbing the female in a tight grip. Long, slimy tentacles shot from holes in its back and wrapped around the woman, sinking into the softness of her body, trapping her neatly on it’s back. It stuffed one tentacle into the females mouth to keep her quite as it hopped back into the vent. It quickly crawled through the tunnels and soon jumped from the vent exit and landed on the muddy surface of Planet N259.

(On Planet 259, right outside the Research and Development Lab)

The swarm warrior paused as it landed on the ground outside the ship, it’s large eyes  scanning the misty downpour uneasily, something off about the area. He dropped the woman( @RayRay) on the ground and jumped out of the way as a large tentacle shot towards him, missing him and the woman by a inch. The Swarm Warrior hissed, before jumping away, not able to fight the creature the tentacle belong to be himself. 
 

The creature that scared the Swarm away watched it leave, hate in its gaze. The creature was a large slug like monster.

It had a thick layer of slime over its whole body that it allowed it to move over the ground as it noticed Gogo. It’s stumpy leg like appendages on the side of its body pushed it along, till it stood in front of the woman. Two small eyes on the side of its face studied the women curiously. It had never seen a creature like this. It lowered its head, its four face tentacles, running over Gogo’s face gently, trying to find out what she was.
