Quests are missions given by the QuestMaster at the GuildHall, who is person that logs and rates all quests that come in. They be requests sent villager leaders via a SummonBoard(most village leaders in Vern have a SummonBoard, a magic paper like material that when written on and a rune is pressed, the writing disappears and a few minutes later the appears on a SummonBoard in the GuildHall owned by the QuestMaster.This allows for quick calls for help when needed) to deal with a monster that appeared or Gifted people that are causing problems. They can also be requests by the King or a noble when they need protection when traveling or a Gifted or monster is after them. 
 

Quests have a ranking system that shows how difficult they are, 1 being the easiest and 100 being the hardest, but the harder the mission, the better the pay and the better chance for higher loot.(Monster disappear when killed, but sometimes leave a part behind, like a eye, tooth or claw. This item can be used to forge a weapon or item that has unique features, based on the creature.)

A higher difficulty quest needs more Heroes, the number decided by the QuestMaster.
