 x Strengths: Has an eye for potential idols/good success rate at recruiting.  Takes time to get to know the idols and bring out their potential/ease their fears and earn their trust/loyalty.  Has some contacts in common performance locations.

 x Shortcomings: He tends favor particular idols, has a hard time separating professional and personal relationships with his favorites.  He does not interact much with other staff.  Focuses less on idols that are not his current favorite, though not to point it has risked damage to his job.

 x Personality: A quiet man who does not say much around other staff, focused on work.  But will show another side and with the idols and is at least somewhat popular with them.  He is very worked focused, content to spend time getting to know the girls.

 

History: Dai had been pulled towards this much of his life.  As a teen he had a crush on a classmate attempting to become an idol.  He had managed to ask her out and they had dated for a while.  They were happy, he even did what he could to support her dream and eventually she succeeded.  That was where things began to go wrong.  He saw her less an less, except as a fan in the audience.  He grew more worried she was seeing, even sleeping with others, whether they be other fans, staff members, or someone else.  A suspicion eventually confirmed when the news came out she was pregnant, and he had not seen her nearly recently enough for the child to be his.  He stopped going to her shows at that point.  Took a break from the whole culture.

Some years later, he was pulled back in.  Watching a few perform, he started to wonder what it was like on the other side, the life of his ex he had not known.  Eventually he decided to do something about it.  He had joined the agency as a general producer at first.  His specialty came up as he started to spend more time with the younger idols, often scared, in over their heads.  He took time to get to them, try to help them with their problems, listen to their fears.  They generally became much more popular, not stars of the agency, but certainly strong with the capability of long careers.

He does have a habit of getting close to them though.  A desperate hope to regain what he lost with his ex, and experience what she did from the other side of the curtain.  There are rumors he has slept with several of the idols, though none would admit it, either to staff or each other.  As long as his performance remains good, and there isn't more evidence, his superiors look the other way, unsure of how true they might be.

 x Notable skills: He has a talent for bringing out potential in the more nervous girls, and arranging shows that give them large audiences.
