Victoria was always the responsible one. She excelled as an honor roll student in high school and thrived during her freshman year of college. Now, as a junior, she’s managed to stay on track and do well for herself despite the challenges she’s faced.

She and her brother were once inseparable—she turned to him for everything. But years ago, when he began experimenting with drugs, she distanced herself from him. Then came the accident. A car crash left her with severe injuries, including damage to her intestines and uterus, and she now relies on a wheelchair. Her parents, who were driving, were killed on impact. After that, her brother’s drug habit spiraled even further out of control.

Now, he’s the only family she has left. Victoria finds herself torn between trying to help him and focusing on surviving on her own. Despite everything, she loves him deeply and can’t stand to watch him destroy himself. He’s all she’s got.
