It feels necessary to specify from the outset that I like darker stories and scenes, specifically those fixating on nonconsensual elements and even more specifically those in which a submissive character will be put through a gauntlet of shameful interactions from which there is little chance of escape. As far as the genres I'm willing to play, most options are on the table and add some variety to the relatively humdrum affair of slotting things in other things. Some genres and subgenres I find myself craving are modern, science fiction, dark fantasy, medieval, western, military, apocalyptic, superheroes, and supernatural horror. 

Regarding the balance of eroticism to story development, I am fine with the smut taking precedence as long as there is occasionally some progression in the plot. My best writing is typically done when describing the elements outside of the smut and I find that context tends to enrich the eventual jaw-dropping moment that the thing slides into the other thing. And believe me, I know that I sound like an intolerable (and vaguely surly) tryhard right now but I'm really a very adaptable writing partner who is looking forward to meeting some new people.
