  2. The books binding creaked as Y/C slowly opened it to the first page. “Summoning Queen Asaroth, a step by step method.” He muttered, running his hand over the dusty crinkled parchment. He was hunched over in the middle of his university dorm room, his curtains covered the window on the far side of the room, bathing the space in a cold darkness. The only illumination offered was from the candles Y/C had lit to “set the mood”. Of course, he didn’t believe in demons or ghosts. However, he had to admit that the dusty tome he had found tucked away in the back of the library was odd and intriguing. He continued reading. “If you manage to summon or c

  4. Just to clear things up for myself. Is challenge 40 still ongoing or are we waiting for challenge 41. If so, then when will that be?
  5. Not guilty. I am in fact all caught up and painfully so. I eagerly await more chances to write. Next poster has a scenario idea they haven't posted because they think it's too greedy.
  6. @SirenSoul@Minorikawa@IsabellaRose Welcome to the club! I hope you find it to your liking! If you need any help just let me know and I'll be delighted to provide it! @Minorikawa Both of these ideas are really good. Beat Down in particular sounds like he'd be a terrifying threat, and his mental state would be curious to explore. The posting time is, I think, quite fine as well. I would say that his situation is more in line with R.E.D.I's philosophy in terms of keeping a dangerous asset around to use in times of emergency but they could and would coordinate with G.H.A.R.D for whatever reason that you could play around with. G.H
  7. I would ask "chat is this real?" while looking at a blank wall
  8. Guilty. A video game. Guitar Hero. On Monopoly it was intended to be a critique of capitalist greed (the Monopoly Man is, if I remember right, based on the cartoons critical of Robber Barons), but the point got lost. The game play is mercilessly slow and there's nothing to do when it's not your turn. It's turn of the last century mechanics were traditional at the time, but without a catch-up mechanic (which would defeat the cruel lesson of the game) once you're behind there's nothing to do but wait. Now it feels interminably slow, but again, like Robert Howard or Edgar Burroughs, it's a product of a different time - 6 hours wouldn't inte
  9. Not Guilty. There was plenty to find without going to sites that needed me to put in a birthday. I was also afraid that 'they'd know' and somehow I'd get in trouble. The first time I used a porn site that required age verification, I was already eighteen. Also, not that you asked me, but Monopoly's big issue is that it takes too long to play for it to be a game with player elimination. I hate when a game can just slowly pick people off and you just have to go do something else or sit and watch. Also it's capitalist propaganda... but that's not a gameplay critique. The next person has had sex while playing a game (board game or vid
  10. Guilty. Dead By Daylight is way more fun and balanced than people give it credit for. Tell me about your thoughts on Monopoly Next poster has a specific year they always used when doing website age verifications as a kid.
  11. Ranald

    Chalice

The Mortal Who Fooled the Heavenly Principles Mad god, Lord of the Foulwind, Feathered trickster, Winged serpent... just a few of his many titles, as invoking his name usually meant misfortune. So people stopped calling him by his name: Chalice But who is he? More importantly, who was he, and how did he fool the gods? Well, I'm afraid you have to investigate that by yourself :>
  12. Guilty. There aren't many I don't have a strong opinion about. Is there one in particular you'd like to hear about? Next poster loves a widely hated video game and doesn't get the hate.
  13. Read through the background information, skimmed some of the character profiles since they're detailed. Can't catch up on the posts yet, but wanted to toss some character ideas out there and get feedback before making character sheets (though only two are formed enough, others I need to consider further). Note that I'm aiming to post, at most, once a day, though no guarantees I can manage that. My first idea is for a Vile named Beat Down, a villain that's been captured and imprisoned for anywhere between 5-10 years, whichever seems an appropriate time. While his body was already stronger than average, he has utilized drugs and technology
  14. Not guilty. I have a very low opinion of gambling and substances. Next poster has a strong opinion about a specific board game.
  15. Not guilty. I don't know enough about gambling or sports to make that worth my time. Plus, I have enough addictions... I don't need to add to them. The next person has an addictive personality.
  16. Welcome!
