Just popping in to say that I have been lurking around and still here. I should be able to post soonish. ^^

The forest fairy swallowed hard as Veronica closed the distance between them. She wasn't sure which direction this was going to go given that this woman was a demon and they had a certain... reputation. Then again her rather suggestive behaviour wasn't helping matters either. "S-sorry...I won't do it again." Leandra said with a bow. "I am just so frustrated and forgot rule two." Leandra wasn't sure if her apology would be enough but she could only hope it would appease the headmistress.

'Oh crap' was the only thought that came to mind when the headmistress pointed out that she broke. She shuddered at the idea of what sort of punishments could be done since the codex was quite vague. Then again it didn't exactly help matters when it was said to her in a rather... suggestive tone that could be "I... I'm sorry." Leandra stuttered out. "Elder Eldion..." The forest fairy was sure that he would have sent corresponds to the headmistress. "He sent me here since no one else wanted to go." She informed her. She nibbled her lower lip and she thought how to say the rest without being rude. "Apparently I was the only one that was actually fit to come here." She sighed a little. "At first I thought it was a compliment... but I see it was just a trick." Leandra didn't mean her words to come across as disrespectful but it could easily be seen that way given her mood. She honestly wasn't sure what else to do there and felt lost.

Leandra was in her own little world to notice the owner of the academy She was currently trying to find what books they had on her race when a voice from nowhere made her jump and shriek in fright. Only when she turned to see who it was she turned bright red. It was the headmistress! She felt like shrinking into her shoes. After a short while she decided to speak up. "Oh...sorry about that." She fidgeted with her fingers a little. "I'm just browsing a little. I'm still getting used to this place and I am beginning to doubt the wisdom of my elder...." She trailed off while nibbling her lower lip.

She could do with some assurance since she basically picked the short straw in terms of attending the academy. lol

We could do a scene where he signs a contract to be a staff member or something? I don't mind what we do. I can leave Leandra free for anyone who wants to show a sulky forest fairy around the place? XD

If the headmistress is free maybe we could have a scene with Ishmael? Or someone can welcome Leandra to the school or show her around?

Thank you. I haven't RPed in over a year and have a habit of writing walls of text. I'll try to adjust my style so I don't intimidate players. :X

I might not seem it but I have been a little nervous getting back into the rp scene.... that said - anyone wish to do a scene with either of my characters?

Currently I have 345 credits in my ED wallet (on me) but I can't remember how much I have in my bank that I stored. (To gain interest) I was wondering if it was possible to be able to transfer from one ED bank to another bank? Sorry if my post before didn't make sense. Manni's idea is also a good one. (Gifting things to other members.)

I know we can "donate" to members with credits that our account has "on us" as it were. But I think it would be cool if there was some sort of "transfer" feature so if you don't have enough credits in your wallet then you could transfer things directly to another member or when you buy stuff.

Sorry for not replying sooner. Things got a bit crazy at home and ED went whack for a day for me! Good to hear that this place ticks all the boxes. However I noticed that some of the threads have become victims of vanishing imagines! I am still confused on if monsters and humans can mix or not. Since in one thread it said that monsters are only allowed to mate with each other? or did mum brain strike and I need to re-read things? As for inactive characters - I would usually make another thread (inactive characters thread), leave the first post open, copy/paste profiles in there, and then link up the posts with names in the first post so someone could jump to it. Note that if someone hasn't posted or been active, without notifying the owner of the club for x amount of time, then they will be put into the inactive thread. They would be welcome to pm owner or mods of the club if they want their character to become active again. Character thing in general - to do a general tidy up just put names of characters in the first post and link them to other posts within the thread. That way if people want to reference someone's character then they can just jump there.

I have been more inclined to roleplay public in both group and solo rps. I have done this on and off for around 14 years? What I have seen work is the following - - Make it clear what the rp is about. - Give at least a BIT of lore. Too much and it becomes a wall of text; too little and people don't really know what to do with themselves. - Imagery for locations to give the players some idea of where things are and to get those creative juices flowing: Example: This could be the headmaster's office or a business office? This imagery helps players really get into the world and think up more ideas of what could happen. - A bit of organisation so things aren't so muddled up and confusing. - Clear rules. - Generally GMs listening to feedback from players. - Don't be too controlling or players get upset and feel strangled. - Don't be a total twat to people. That is all that I have at the moment. Still a little tired from looking after little one but in my time this is what I have seen work and not work. I have seen a lot of drama on others sites and it isn't nice.

Going to read up more in a bit but what caught my eye was the "too many characters" thing. Guys. You don't know too many characters until you have been in a group rp with an attention whore who nags everyone for replies and makes a big deal when they make one. Then ends up making 12 + characters... one with a disability simply because reasons. I will say that the inactive ones need deleting or putting in an "inactive" thread to tidy things up a little. Anyway I'm gonna go back in my cave for a bit and will be back in a bit to read more.

Thank you both for the feedback. I am currently having a little chat with Jenny about a few bits and pieces. The only reason I raised sexuality is because experience has shown me that it would be best if people knew since some players (not on this site) wouldn't appreciate a futa or trap going after them when they and their character are heavily heterosexual. (My lord the drama...) I usually play pansexual, bi characters, and rarely straight characters. I also play both male and female characters depending on a character table so I don't tread on toes. (Too much crap in my time I swear. >.<) This is why I was trying a little too hard to get to know characters around here. So I know what to play and such. :3

Thank you very much! Maybe we could ask the admins? I was about a roster/directory asking because I noticed it was a lot to scroll through and to remember who is playing what and the genders. On another site I used to write on a few of the GMs they would organise things to prevent confusion on who was playing what and so they had some idea of the amount of players. It would also help me and other players decide what to play in terms of race and gender. This was because some people were more comfortable knowing numbers/sexuality and such so they could construct a character accordingly.

Hello all! Just looking around before I take a nose dive in. ^^;; I noticed that some images are broken and I wasn't sure if anyone knew or not. I was also wondering if there was a director for human::monster and male::female roster so we have some rough idea of how many of which/what and such that there is here. Sorry to be a nuisance!

I plan on doing game stream and it will involve me needing to do polls on the forums to gather feedback. (which path I need to take and such.) And I was wondering if it would be counted as spam since I will be making different threads with polls each time. I figured I'd ask first before doing anything because I don't want to get into trouble. Thanks!

I just put the dark theme on and I can now see that there is snow on the boarders on the front page. I just wanted to say that whoever did that is pretty awesome and thank you for adding a bit of Xmas spirit into EcchiDreams.

Sorry I wasn't around for that. Congrats on a job well done to all of you! I think it would definitely be a thing to look at if you do an event like that. If you do then me and SO would definitely consider running our mains AND spare computers for the cause. (We have two old laptops that still have decent specs by today's standards... they are just old and need batteries replacing!) I'll keep an eye out for events. Thank you for the consideration!
