  1. Life is too short; I'll try pretty much anything at least once (read: Good luck trying to find something I won't RP ). I don't care about the gender of the person I'm RPing with, so if you feel the same way, I'm happy to discuss something. Also, I will say that there are probably things not on this list that I'd do, so if you have an idea not involving any of those preferences, feel free to bring it up; there is pretty much no way, at all, that you'd scare me off. I tend to give as good as I get, or at least try to, in terms of length of posts. I'd like to consider myself more than competent with spelling and grammar, and would prefer if a partner is at least fairly competent generally speaking, but that depends on what kind of ideas and enthusiasm you can bring to the table; I'm also more than happy to try and help you improve if you need/want my help doing so. Two general rules that I don't usually like: People 'playing' my characters. This includes but isn't limited to: moving my characters, assuming their responses, etcetera. There are exceptions, like for example if my character is injured, or it could reasonably be expected your character could move them, I have no problem with it (though it doesn't hurt to ask anyway). Making assumptions on what their reactions might be is fine too, but don't assume that is what they did. 'Abandoned' RPs. I don't mind if you don't wanna RP any more, but please do tell me. I'd rather know than wonder. Along the same lines, not finishing one and wanting to start another kinda bothers me too, excluding things like having more than one going, or temporarily setting one thing aside in favour of another. As an aside to this; I understand real life gets in the way sometimes. Hell, mine does. So as long as you understand you might not get immediate responses, you equally don't have to apologise if you've been gone a while. Anyway, feel free to bother me any time. Please do remember though, as a disclosure, that RPing with a Staff Member doesn't mean anything special, and doesn't exempt you from the ToS. If we RP, I would want you to think of me as an RPer rather than Staff in that setting, but if you break the ToS on the forums, I will deal with it if necessary. I'm an RPer... And a friend... But I'm still Staff...
  2. I'm the same with RPing. I don't know how popular or unpopular the opinion is gonna be, but I honestly don't think that the gender of the RPer matters.
  3. Welcome to EcchiDreams, Local Tit Cow. Hope you enjoy your stay here. Looking forward to seeing you around, and if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask a member of staff (myself included). Sweet Dreams~
  4. Welcome to the site, GirlyBoy. Hope you enjoy your time on EcchiDreams, but if you need any help, feel free to ask any time. Looking forward to seeing you around. Sweet Dreams~
  5. Short and sweet. I can appreciate that. Hello, and welcome to EcchiDreams. Hope you enjoy your stay. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask. Sweet Dreams~
  6. I have two semi-related potentially unpopular opinions... "Female Protagonist" is one of the stupidest tags on Steam. I don't care if your protagonist is male, female, or a Goddamn goat... The quality of the game should be what speaks for the game, so the gender of the protagonist should be a moot point. Spoilers for Doctor Who follow? Except kinda not really?
  7. Welcome to the site, lVergill. Good to be able to offer an official welcome finally. xD Hope you enjoy your time here. And if you need help, don't hesitate to ask. Sweet Dreams~
  8. That sounds like a really cute idea for an RP if that's what you were expecting/agreed upon. I can imagine it coming out of the blue like that though kinda threw you off.
  9. Welcome to the site, PixelBoi. Hope yo uenjoy your time with us. If you need any help with anything, don't hesitate to ask. In the mean time, look forward to seeing you around on ED. Sweet Dreams~
  10. I'm just rife with poor wording today. To be more specific: "If you can adapt to other people, it's more spiteful not to." Though the caveat to that statement would be: "Unless you're trying to help them get better, especially at their request." 'Forcing' them to adapt to you is a good way to go about that, especially if you can ease them into it.
  11. I should have worded that more carefully, I think. What I meant to say was: "While I understand that the point of this is to talk about your first RP, your comment about improving yourself and matching others was a good one that bears responding to." Further, you have a very good point there, too. In a way, I feel it would be more spiteful to not match, if that makes sense? An RP, to me at least, is a story written between two or more people. If you can match, it just makes the story flow, and read, so much better.
  12. I don't wanna derail the point of this thread, but I just wanted to say: I'm guilty of this. I try to give as good as I can, as much as possible, but I usually settle into giving as good as I get. At least I try. I'm sure people bring their best, so I usually just match: length, style, so on. I tend to find it makes for a more equal experience.
  13. Just because it hasn't been said so far... Erect Dick
  14. I honestly can't remember my first RP ever; it was so long ago. I know I was RPing before I joined EcchiDreams, probably not long after I officially became a teenager? So I'd say I probably have over a decade under my belt? I put it 'vaguely' because sometimes it's on-off. But somewhere between it being so long ago, and having done so many, I have no idea what my first was.
  15. Ah, I see. Well in that case, welcome to the site to start with. xD The offer remains: if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask, okay? Enjoy your stay!
  16. Welcome back to the site, Aurafox1. It's great to have you back. I'm sure you mostly know how everything works, if you've been here before, but if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask. Looking forward to seeing you around either way, though. Sweet Dreams~
  17. Welcome to EcchiDreams, nduns. You definitely won't get in trouble for ecchi RPs here. I hope you enjoy your stay, but if for any reason you need any help, don't hesitate to ask. In the mean time, have fun, and see you around the site. Sweet Dreams~
  18. What multiplayer Steam games do people here play? It can be two-player, two-at-a-time, or even group play games. For example: Skullgirls (1 v 1 fighting game) Battleblock Theater (Up to 4 players) Etc. I'm just curious about what people play that they might be looking for other people to possibly play with them.
  19. Well then, Crazymerc22, welcome to EcchiDreams. I hope you'll find your time here enjoyable and fun, and I'm sure you'll be able to find someone to RP with here pretty easily if you're open to most things. If you happen to need any help with anything during your stay, please don't be afraid to ask, okay? If you never need any help, well... Awesome. *just kidding* xD Sweet Dreams~

  21. Although I have done so already, it is nevertheless my pleasure to welcome you to EcchiDreams. If you need any help with anything, don't hesitate to ask, and in the mean time, I hope you enjoy your time here. Sweet Dreams~
  22. Well, it still seems worth a watch. It's not like the art/animation is horrendous or anything, it just... It feels like way too much of a change, and it's a little jarring/takes some getting used to.
  23. I was asking for a review on the status that said you were going to watch it, and on the one that said you had watched it, and now there's a review, I'm not sure what to reply to it with. xD It's nice to see that their habits of giving people the feels haven't stopped, I guess? And you certainly have made it sound well worth the watch (though as someone who loved Pokémon as a kid/young teen especially, I'd probably want to eventually watch it either way). I don't know if you've seen Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, but if you have, is the animation style of the movie anything like that series? Or do they go back to the... y'know... good animation? xD
  24. Welcome to the site, LoveArrow. Wonderful to meet you, and have you here~! If you need any help with anything at all, don't hesitate to ask. Whether you do need help or not, I hope you enjoy your time on EcchiDreams. Sweet Dreams~
